I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I finally did. The coffee shop has ample amounts of seating inside, and they also have a decent amount of outdoor seating. I love that they offer coffee flights which is always fun to sit around and try. I order a strawberry coffee off the summer menu and it was amazing. So good that I went back 2 days later for another one; the employees were also very kind during mobile pick up.

A nice quiet place to hang out. Thoughtfully made drinks and food items. Quick and friendly service. I had the banana cream mocha drink. It needs a stronger banana flavoring. My first sip was pure coffee. Nice presentation of the drink though.

My go-to morning coffee spot! The staff are wonderful and truly love their craft. I'm always curious about their unique latte names, and the knowledgeable team is great at giving recommendations. Don't skip the food--the salmon bagel and avocado toast are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Customer service was average. Place has limited seating and most tables were taken. Not too loud, but definitely a baby making some unusually peculiar noises (probably should get that checked out.) Decaf oat latte with house made caramel. Wife said it was above average. Oat Vanilla latte was good (those are vanilla bean, not black pepper like my son says?!) I like their roast. I would say with all the great coffee places nearby, that I wouldn't revisit this place. But it was good nonetheless.

Quaint and cute coffeeshop offering a wide variety of drinks. I especially love their drink flights which give you the opportunity to try 4 drinks at once. The customer service is also top-notch.

Redshift Coffee Roasters is a nice place to pick up a cup of bougie-priced coffee. When I'm paying $6 for a latte, I would like to taste the unique notes of the bean. This is just my preference, though, as not everyone is looking to taste flavored notes in their coffee. Don't get me wrong, the latte was not bad, it was just a basic latte where I could hardly taste the coffee. I also didn't like how they don't list out what is in their specialty coffees such as their Bumble Coffee and RAF. I was pretty disappointed to find out what they are as it is just flavorings added to the espresso. Again, not my preference to flavor up my lattes that compete with the lackluster coffee taste. I do see the appeal of this place being that it's the only "fancy" coffee shop around, so if you're looking for a bougie coffee place while trying to escape the over populated Starbucks. This place is for you.

Oh this cafe is sooo lovely. New favorite! There's such a nice and gentle feel to this place. My friend and I came here on a rainy Sunday morning and it was so cozy inside :) The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I especially loved their raspberry croissant, which was sweet and filled with a yummy raspberry jam. I've never had anything like it, so interesting! My friend ordered the coffee flight and I had a hot matcha latte. We loved the variety in the coffee flight and the matcha was very smooth and tasty. This cafe is very clean and their menu items are beautifully presented. It's clear that a lot of love goes into everything. I'm excited to come back!

Impressive array of barista skills, matcha, espresso, classy layers and latte art! It's all rolled into a rather dull and pale inside unable to match atmosphere to coffee craft. It's a ripe bunch of walls ready for a local artist to show off. Us two went for a banana latte, fancy green tea, and a breakfast bagel. The colors! No wonder Yelp puts this tops for the area. If only I could order from Indiana.

I got a flat tire but thankfully had run-flat tires, so I drove slowly to America's Tire and left my car there while they worked on it. Since I was in the area and was not my usual route... I decided to walk over for coffee and found this cute little shop with a clean, simple interior. The staff were super friendly! We ordered our drinks for here but ended up taking them outside since we had our dog with us. The Bumble Coffee was delicious! It was refreshing and unique. If I'm ever around here again, I'll definitely come back to try more of their creative drinks!

Snuck out for a quick coffee because daylight savings was killing me and wanted to try a new spot. This one was 9 mins away from home, so figured a good spot! Parking was easy on a Sunday afternoon. It's in a random parking lot but I assume this area is developing quickly. Service was good- she was helpful and very knowledgeable about the products. Ambiance was simple- worked for the space and vibe. My iced coffee was good. My husband's short and salt was okay. Wish thy had some baked goods.

FINALLY! a cafe that's opened till 5pm that has quality coffee drinks. If you're a coffee lover, please note this isn't Your typical cafe with lattes and cold brew - don't get me wrong, they have them too. however, if you're looking for European specialty coffees or infused tonics this is the place for you. This was my first time there and instead of getting my typical latte I opted for a RAF coffee AND I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED ONE BIT. The ambience is clean and minimalist with a European flair. I'm so happy that we finally have a café in Lake Forest that's walking distance from our studio. Definitely will be back! read more

Solid coffee, with a strong eurotwist. Very innovative and creative drinks popular in Russia and Europe. Everyone I've sent here loves it. Only hard part is not being able to order over the phone. They've got a mobile app and sometimes it gets a little janky and lots of notifications--but very trivial complaint. Definitely going back again and again. read more

So happy they opened this spot near where I live. First visit 5/5. Staff was very friendly and attentive. For coffee, we got two iced oat vanilla lattes. The coffee had a perfect balance of sweetness. My biggest pet peeve is when a drink taste watery or milky but this was perfect. Their breakfast is what really sold it for me. Their menu is on the smaller side which is not a bad thing as it allows them to excel in those items. They have your typical breakfast items like avocado toast, banana and chocolate chip oats, croissants, salmon bagel etc. the avocado toast is the perfect serving size for 1 and the chilli sauce they put on top is the star of the dish! The smoked bagel was also quite yummy. I am excited to keep going back and will update this review as necessary. read more

So tried this today and left with one question: HOW? How and why is this coffee so smooth and good. Took the first sip in the cafe, walked out, went back in and thanked them one more time. A bit on the pricy side but at least I got an amazing cup of coffee. It was a cappuccino and it was just right very smooth and very flavorful. It's been a while since I felt this good about a coffee so give it a try. They're also nice people. Tell them Joe Macchiato sent you. Im kidding. I wish my name is that cool . Great coffee. Ridiculous prices. The price of an 8 oz pour over is almost $8. A regular drip coffee is more than $6, and they run out frequently. That's just insane, especially when compared to what they charge for other coffee beverages like a cappuccino. Probably won't go back very often. read more

They do not understand coffee. In an area with so many coffee houses, I would suggest avoiding this business. I would have loved to taste their coffee but was told " can't make your drink breve." Long story short, the young lady behind the counter had half and half but would not put it in my drink because she had no way to charge me??? Lazy, lazy!! read more

Stopped here by chance while getting tires changed at America's Tire (just a short walk away). Very clean and sleek interior. Husband had an iced latte which he enjoyed. I had the Summer Matcha Tonic and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! It was beautifully presented with a layer of muddled strawberries at the bottom, a layer of tonic water, a layer of matcha, topped with a dried lemon wheel...the colors were beautiful! After I mixed it, I sipped the concoction and really enjoyed the combination of flavors! It was so unique and refreshing! Will be back to try the coffee next time! read more

I had been here several times and have enjoyed excellent iced Americanos. This time, however, ended up being so unpleasant due to the owners unwillingness to do anything about a drink that I was unhappy with that I will not return. My iced Americano was bitter and watery. I spoke to the two gentleman working the counter, who turned out to be the owners, explaining that it was too watery for my taste. I expected that they would express some kind of polite dismay and offer to remake it with less water/ice. Instead they just stood there repeating over and over again, "It is our ratio, " which I eventually deduced meant that they were flat out refusing to remake the drink to my preferences. Iced Americano is my standard drink and on the rare occasion I am unhappy enough to ask for it to be remade, no other establishment has ever refused. Eventually they offered in an annoyed and angry way to make a hot Americano but it was clear that it would be made the way they wanted and no other way. To say that this pair is not friendly or accommodating would be a huge understatement. Clearly they value doing things there way over pleasing the customer. If you are unhappy don't expect a drink to be remade or to be offered a refund. The sad thing is that I had really liked this place up until this morning. Response to Owner's Comments: I did not leave and come back. I did not slam anything down. I did not throw anything. Before I left, I placed my drink on the counter to convey that I was not going to drink it. You did not offer a refund at any point. However I did just check my credit card and you did refund the drink, so thank you for that. Also I did appreciate you bringing out my purse which I had just realized I left behind due to how stressed I was with us with our exchange. I kept wondering if I could have approached you a different way, but it should not be the customer trying to comfort the owner. I tired to get you to understand that I wanted the drink remade but you kept saying, "It is our ratio." You did not offer to try a different ratio. You would not consider that maybe something had gone wrong and you had not made the drink correctly. I gave up trying to get you to understand and sat down with my husband, who's hot Americano was fine. I got up and tried to talk to you again because I could not believe that two guys who seems so passionate about coffee did not care if someone did not like their drink. But we got no where. The big problem isn't your English, it's your attitude. Orange County is filled with people from all over the world and a warm smile and patience can do wonders for bridging language issues. read more

Such a great addition to Lake Forest! Owners were very nice and helpful! Pastries were fresh made in the morning so they were still warm when we took them home. So yummy! Drinks were made well and the bumble coffee (made with OJ) was so yummy and an exciting new drink I've never tried! Ambiance was clean and beautiful. The gentleman (barrista) has an unfriendly demeanor and is unhelpful. Surprising because at first glance it looked like it would be a mom and pop shop with a friendly environment. Can become a great spot for our community with better management. As for food, the spinach pastry was dry and borderline inedible, and the coffee was subpar and lukewarm. The croissant was the only bright spot. read more

best espresso and coffee in OC! they really care about their espresso and coffee, and it shows. I was going to order a espresso to-go, but one of the workers recommended staying in shop to use a glass cup rather than a paper cup. and they weren't kidding, that's probably one of the best espressos I've had in socal. clear chocolate and nutty notes pulled from the roast. the bumble was also delicious, I would never have thought to mix orange juice and coffee! the acidity cuts the bitterness so well. they've only been open 3 months, so I'm really excited to see them grow! read more

Came during their soft opening and was really impressed by the friendly staff, clean interior and variety of drinks and food. The barista recommended we try their RAF drink which is two shots of espresso with steamed half and half and vanilla syrup. Unfortunately you cant get RAFs iced but we decided to try them anyways on a hot day and were both happy we did! It's like a perfectly balanced vanilla latte without too much sweetness! They also offer some pastries and food (yogurt bowls and sandwiches) that looked good. Plenty of tables with outlets and a big parking lot for easy access. Will be back to try their bumble latte (had orange juice!) read more

Hoping they offer lighter roast drip coffee choice once they get going. Recommend they have more bakery options and continue to train new barista hires on the types of coffee beans and roasts they sell. Love the location. Look forward to a 2nd visit. read more

Established in 2023.

We are Redshift Coffee Roasters - Denis, Vitaliy, and Lisa. But most importantly, we are a family! We came to the USA almost two years ago and decided not to waste time, but to bring joy and delicious coffee to people. Back in Russia, Vitaly had extensive business experience, while Denis and Lisa were involved in the coffee industry. Here we are, doing what we love and know best! Service is always fine, but never anything beyond ordinary. They have notably good drinks here. They will usually have a seasonal menu with fun flavors/drinks that I usually go for. They have yummy cold foams and a VERY strong cold brew. In a good way. Actually one of the best cold brews I've had. I also love coming here for breakfast burritos with their green salsa! The green salsa is soooooo good, but it's usually a 50% chance they will be out of either the burrito of the salsa. Other than this consistency, I love visiting Bodhi Leaf!

By the time I headed over for a drink though, there wasn't much pastries left so I had to head home with one hand empty. Bummer. Service is usually quick and they don't seem to get very busy, at least when I'm there. Price is a bit on the higher end, however, you can taste the difference with that first sip. I'm looking forward to grabbing a cup of something again real soon.

I stumbled upon this quaint coffee shop while picking up a breakfast wrap nearby. The ambiance was decent--clean and presentable, though a bit sterile. A pastry case and a large jar of cash sat at the front counter next to a tablet register. When I ordered my drink, priced at $4.60, I offered a $5 dollar bill, only to be told, "We only accept card transactions." Surprised, I explained I didn't have my cards with me since I had just come from my office and left my cards behind. Gesturing to the cash-filled tip jar, I suggested, "I can give you this, and you can keep the rest as a tip" The clerk flatly responded, "That doesn't work," and cancelled the sale. Frustrated, I left and went across the street to Starbucks, where they gladly accepted cash, and I enjoyed a great cup of coffee. This experience left me wondering: how can a business refuse U.S. Legal Tender for a sale but willingly accept it as tips? Needless to say, I won't be returning to Redshift Coffee Roasters--there are plenty of other options within a mile. read more

I had an outstanding experience thanks to Daniel. My father and I stopped in for coffee, and Daniel made the visit memorable from start to finish. I have been a regular customer at this coffee shop and have always come here with my daughter to get coffee. A few days ago, we sat outside as usual, but this time we didn't order. The management came over and told us that we were not their customers and that we should not sit there. I found this behavior very disrespectful and unprofessional, especially toward loyal customers. Instead of making us feel welcome, they embarrassed us and made us leave. After this experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this place. read more

Love this local coffee shop that opened up down the street from me. Russian owned flavor with great rotating options and staple flavors. Their foods and drinks are reasonably priced as well!
