Ashley replied she's leaving in 10 minutes so couldn't help and the other woman working said she was doing paperwork and could maybe help after. Neither woman helped as we waited there for 20 minutes. We picked out some handles and pulls to buy and decided to forget asking for help on the front door entry set and just buy the items. There was one other woman checking someone else out for the entire 20 minutes and couldn't get anyone else to check us out. We eventually put the items back and left the store. The outdoor items of the store had soil & amendments and plants for sale. The perlite was for $9.99, yikes! Home Depot sells it for about $5.97. Then I saw it, a beautiful succulent with lots of pups already but it didn't have a price tag. I had a feeling it wasn't going to bode well as this is one of those boutique type of shops at this plaza. It might as well be the Erewhon or Gelson's of home & gardens shops, unlike Home Depot. You know what I mean? Typically this would sell for about $4-7 but it's $9.99! But it's so pretty and it has many pups for me to distribute & repot. Toby at the cashier stand helped me out. He was knowledgeable & amiable. Additionally, he offered valuable info about the lady bugs & praying mantis that are sold to help our ecosystem. I didn't do much browsing, just purchased my succulent and went my merry way. It was a great experience but the prices here are definitely more for upscale shopping.

While it doesn't have those items it is a beautiful high end store carrying the best products for the finishing touches to your commercial or residential projects. Specifically for door hands, knobs with top of the line security locking mechanisms, ambient lighting and for beautiful cabinetry hardware. They are not just retailers but also do the installation of the projects you need done commercial or residential. If I had a nice office to fix up or a very nice new building where luxury and security need to be priority I would come to Moultrup Hardware.

I asked an older man who worked there wearing a beanie and with a foreign accent for help. Then he tells me the cute decorative key I was going to buy would not work. I have bought many keys like this one before and never had a problem. He then took me and showed me the different door handles and locks. All he did was not call me "stupid," but his actions and words toward me were so mean spirited and aggressive. I told the very nice lady who checked me out about it. He almost made me cry, made me feel dumb and wrecked my evening by being so short tempered. I've never been spoken to like that before and seriously hope management will talk to him or put someone else in charge of the key department. Someone who's understanding, patient and does make the customer fee terrible. Other than this man everyone has been nothing but kind and helpful. I will never go here if I need a key unless there is someone else to help. Plus I spent $28 something. Just not acceptable.

What stood out most was that she did it with a great attitude, patience, and genuine willingness to help -- even though she was clearly in the middle of something important. That kind of customer service is rare. She represented Home Depot incredibly well, not just as an employee, but as someone who clearly understands the value of taking care of customers in the moment.
