I was offered a ride back to the house by a very kindhearted older gentleman who turned out to be the owner. Fast Forward - My Hummer was damaged by another driver and remembered the great service I had received on my previous visit so told my insurance company I was taking my vehicle to Collision Clinic for the repairs. I was greeted by the new owner John who is the son of the previous owner. We all know how that usually goes - but not in this case. The new owner John was every bit as hospitable and concerned with getting my vehicle fixed correctly and getting me back on the road as his father was. The kicker is I had dropped my rental policy when my wife was not working and forgot to add it back when she started working. Rental prices where high and felt like a nightmare trying to rent a car. After John learned of this he coordinated by drop-off time to a time he could arrange for a loaner car for me to use. Needless to say, but my Hummer looks great, better than before the accident, and I plan to take my Hummer in for some additional work. Thank you John (and amazing crew) for your awesome service!

After he looked over my vehicle, he suggested that it would be easier to take off the plastic over the molding and keep it since the molding was in tack. We stripped off the black plastic, and the silver molding was exposed. He used some chemicals to clean of the molding and gave me some suggestions to remove the remaining glue. This is the best experience with a car repair shop because he was up front with me and saved me money as well. She said our car needed to be towed to Romest Auto and promised a rental the next day. That was the last time we heard from her--no rental, no communication, total ghosting. When we called Kemper, they had no record of Jackelyn. My husband went to the address the car was towed to, which turned out to be the address listed on google for Ready Garage. Despite being the owner of the vehicle, my husband was denied access to see our car. They said they only speak to the insurance. When our legitimate insurance adjuster showed up, he was also turned away and told he needed an appointment. He made one--with a woman named Cindy--but even then, they refused to let him see the car, saying "the insurance calls too much." At this point, we don't know where our car is or who actually has it. This appears to be an organized scam using multiple fake or misleading business names: Romest Auto, Ready Garage, Claims Collision Center (claimscollisioncenter.com) The same phone number is associated with all three "businesses" and "Jackelyn" now answers her direct line as "Claims Collision Center." Names that have been associated with the businesses are Jackelyn (fake insurance adjuster), Cindy (set up appointment with adjuster), Ed or Eduardo (said to be the manager), and Zoheer (rude guy who answers the phone, and supposedly received car from tow truck driver). If this happened to you, call HPD and file a police report immediately. These people need to be held accountable.

When I arrived, it suddenly became $74,000 out the door due to dealer add-ons and questionable fees. After negotiating, we agreed on $70,000 OTD. Management then tried to sell me an 8.9% APR despite excellent credit and nearly 30% down. After pushing back, they "magically" found 4.99%. The truck had more scratches than advertised. Before I signed, I was promised the scratches would be professionally repaired within two days and the truck would be delivered to my home.That promise was the only reason I agreed to buy. From that point forward, communication was terrible. I repeatedly had to call for updates because no one contacted me.Delivery was delayed, and when the truck finally arrived, the scratches were still there with an obvious, poor-quality attempt at repair. When I asked them to honor what they promised, they wanted me to sign paperwork I wasn't comfortable with before committing to fixing the truck. I simply requested written documentation of what would be repaired and an estimated timeline. Instead of honoring their commitment, management blamed me for "rushing" them, claimed they don't put money into used vehicles like this, and said I was being unrealistic. The "General Manager" then accused me of rejecting delivery (I never did--I only asked them to complete the agreed-upon repairs), canceled the deal, claimed my signed contract "didn't exist," kept both the truck and my $20,000 down payment, and told me I'd have to wait for my money back. I even drove back to the dealership and called the police because they refused to return either the truck or my funds that day. After multiple broken promises about returning my money, I ultimately had to make another one-hour drive just to pick up my own $20,000 check. This was the worst vehicle buying experience I've ever had. Broken promises, misleading pricing, poor communication, and management that refused to take responsibility for commitments made by their own staff. Thankfully I got my money back, but I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. This is the condensed version. GM Frank Luna told me my money was nothing to him and hung up on me. Justin lied to my face multiple times. Good luck doing business here. Yikes.
