When we dine, we look for places that offer a complete dining experience and not just a place to take in nourishment to fill our bellies.  Reforma is exactly that. We booked the small dining area for a 5pm dinner and arrived early enough to enjoy some great cocktails and the Elote. The cocktails were crafted beautifully and a work of art for the palate and the eyes. My husband enjoyed the Oaxaca Old Fashioned and I had the Gin Negroni. Both were perfect. The Elote was divine.  Next course was the tableside Caesar salad. Hands down, the best Caesar salad we have ever enjoyed. We love a good tableside guacamole and this was a refreshing alternative. Besides the wonderful taste and great entertainment, Lorena and Esteban shared the enlightening history of the Caesar salad.   For the main course, we shared the Bone-In Short Rib Mole, the asparagus with a pistachio sauce and the brown butter Cilantro Lime rice and all were incredible choices.  We finished it off with the made-from-scratch Butter Pound Cake Tres Leche.  Reforma is a place that not only offers a great dining and cocktail experience, but the staff and atmosphere are just awesome. Erik, one of the owners came out to talk with us about our experience and the Reforma venture, and offered a little more insight on the restaurant and the cuisine. The venue offers many different dining options. The main entrance offers a cocktail bar and a DJ, the center is the private dining area, and the far end is a music & club dining venue. The small, private dining was lovely, intimate and quiet, even though the DJ was just down the hall. It was a pleasure to dine at Reforma and we wish all the entire team many good wishes on this wonderful new endeavor. I guess it's not really fair to review them yet. It's a good looking place with a nice patio and bar area. I'll give them 4 stars, but don't think they can hold it there. Giving them a chance. Our waitress said the opened yesterday. That's why their bar did not have any beer on tap. (Curious though, their are posts on here from a month ago). Note: They serve the water with no ice. The hot sauce was spicy, but couldn't cool it down. Their menu is for meat eaters, only. Well, I do have one option, sweet potato tacos... bleh. I got one though. 4 inches of sliced tater on a corn tortilla. That's it. No sides, no other toppings... Oh, and look where they sat me. The door kept hitting my chair. read more

What a surprise! In a good way. We had fairly low expectations partly because of the location. Reforma way over delivered on delicious food and outstanding service. The dining room is beautiful with dark walls and gorgeous granite tables. Lovely "Lola" took care of us and was absolutely charming and focused on making sure we all were happy. The food was amazing. Manchego salad had the perfect balance and was plenty to share between 2 or 3 people. The Brussel sprouts side dish was a highlight. There were 6 of us and we tried most everything on the menu and loved it all. Branzino cooked perfectly, Loma Saltado was absolutely fabulous + wild mushrooms also a treat. We'll be back here often for sure. Super high praise for this new spot here in our town. They also have a drag brunch that sounds fun with a bar next door for fantastic events and music. I've been to Reforma a couple of times and the service has been good. But this last time around the service was exceptional! My five guest along with I had the chance to meet Alberto, the new front of house manager. His professionalism and his ability to engage with the guest was astonishing. He really knew how to engage with our table along with the rest of the other tables. All the food and the cocktails that we ordered was delicious. Even though it was a busy Friday night and it was a party of 6, everything we ordered came out fast. After this last visit, I will definitely be going back sooner than I have in the past thanks to the wonderful experience we had with Alberto. read more

We attended the drag brunch last Sunday. Let me first say, the performance was great. This review is for the resturant management. They were severely understaffed, unprepared and ultimately delusional on the service of a provided. At one point the staff had to leave and go to their sister restaurant to retrieve bloody Mary mix or out to purchase tomato juice in order to make one of the few signature cocktails. We repeatedly had to go to the additional front room bar in order to get a cocktail because we did not have a server, ordering food was a challenge (we were finally greeted by a server an hour and 15 minutes into the performance). Visited from out of state based on google search. It was ok. We entered around 9pm to the bar side and they didn't allow my friend in with his Lululemon sweatshirt. Made him coatcheck it but didn't say anything to the 2 other groups around us with sweatshirts, jackets & beanies / hats on. When we left only his sweatshirt was coat checked so made us feel weird about it. We sat at the bar top and the bartender was great & nice. We checked out the club which was in the back but it was still a little early for when it "gets popular". So can't judge too much. They weren't playing our style music so we ended up leaving. Where to even begin? Went to Reforma for the first time thinking it's going to be a fun place. But then we met the bartender or MR cocky - know it all. This guy (his name was MIKE or something like that, dude with hawaiian tattoos) just absolute ruined our night. He couldn't make a single cocktail from their exclusive cocktail list, poor guy was trying. Then we ordered margaritas and vodka sodas cause unfortunately we couldn't get any classic cocktail made by him (i was scared to try it) and he had the audacity to charge us almost $20 per drink! There is difference ordering well margarita or vodka soda and ordering top shelf liquor. Who just assumes u ordered premium alcohol and charges for poor made margarita $20?!?! I really wonder if the owners are aware of people working behind their bar. This is shameful and we won't be back. And my advice is, if you want to charge that much per cocktail, at least hire someone who has knowledge and crafts in making good drinks. WE WON'T BE BACK. read more

Came here for brunch for a "FlipPhone" event... It was Spice Girls Brunch! Had a blast as we were celebrating a birthday, the food was really good. I had the chilaquiles. My friend had the chicken milanesa and she said it was really delicious. The performers were amazing and we tipped them accordingly. The crowd was good and service was great, except for one thing. We got a little tipsy & we were taken advantage of when the bill came. Our server, whom was a sweetheart and don't want to mention his name , was a hustler. I understand times are hard and people gotta get their hustle on but don't lie to well paying patrons. We tipped really well throughout our brunch and when the bill came we never got a print out and was quickly shown a screen to sign. Our bill was much more than expected because our drinks were confused twice and our server said they were on the house but they were not. To respond to Erick H, we were comped our appetizer but the coachrockes appeared during OUR ENTREE. 2nd no one came to the table. We had to find someone! And 3, why would I come back to a place when the owners leave snarky responses to their paying customers. Lastly, why do I have explainthe roaches were inside or out - clearly the roaches were in the establishment and you aren't having the outside and likely inside sprayed.
