She didn't speak much English, so my telling her how I wanted my nails shaped didn't register and she kept nicking my fingers when trying to remove the gel polish. Not fun. The lesson I learned from this was, if you get a nail tech who does a great job, request that tech or schedule an appointment with that tech.

SO HOW IS THAT ON THE COSTUMER???? I was literally pulling into to the parking lot and I live 25 minutes away....Just to be told my SCHEDULED appointment was given to someone else who came In because I didn't answer in time? My favorite girl Sara is so awesome for facials I had to book around her days because everyone loves her! I'd like to share an experience I just had at Shelley's Salon in Belton…read more I booked a haircut for my 6 year old daughter, and when I got there I was told that my (perfectly behaved) 9 year old son wasn't allowed to stay in the building. The two options that the manager said I had were 1. To let my 6 year old go back alone with the stylist, and I could wait in the car with my son, or 2. I could go into the appointment with my daughter and let my son go wait in the car by himself. Both unsafe, neglectful options. There were 4 seats in the waiting room, all empty, so I asked if he could sit there? No, because it would "negatively affect the guest experience." Not sure what it is about my son's presence that is so offensive, but that's an incredibly rude thing to say especially after suggesting 2 unsafe options for my kids. I asked for a refund (because when you book they charge $20) and of course she said it's not refundable, but would refund me "just this once." As if I'll ever be booking there again. If you have kids, I wouldn't recommend booking there.
