I usually enjoy coming to Regal Atlas Park, but my recent visit was disappointing. I attended today for the 3:40pm showing of The Conjuring in Theater 8. As I write this, it is 5:28pm today Friday. Unfortunately, the experience was disrupted by groups of young kids who had clearly snuck in without tickets. They were talking and laughing throughout the entire movie, along with latecomers entering well after the film had started. There needs to be stronger security and clear policies in place to prevent this. Situations like this ruin the experience for paying guests who actually want to enjoy the film. Please consider enforcing stricter measures to maintain a respectful theater environment. read more

Two stars because I guess the staff was nice but slow. The theater is really old and needs an upgrade. The seats don't make any sense They are cheap and there's no cup holders. Went this past weekend to see michael, Place sucks Employees & Management are aggressive & rude. You have employees talking very rudely to each other loudly. Only one person in the front meanwhile its several employees in the back laughing. Then on top of that the lines are long & slow. Don't come here, it's not worth your money or time. We went to see Despicable Me 4 for the 10:50am showing this morning. The movie didn't start until 11:45am. No update or apologies regarding the extreme delay. My husband went twice to speak to someone about the issue. First time, my husband was told to speak to a woman who upstairs somewhere when she comes down as it was his second day and doesn't know what to do. Still nothing, my husband goes back and ends up speaking to a tall almost teenaged like lady with dreads and was told there was nothing she could do. When my husband asked for a refund, he was told she can give him a refund but he would have to leave/can't watch the movie. Imagine saying this to a person with a kid/kids to a movie geared towards younger children. Unbelievable. If this is the sort of staff of manager you are okay with then you're better off closed compared to other movie theaters who had great customer service but unfortunately had to close down. Do yourselves a favor and take the extra distance if you have to, to another theater. read more

This theater used to be quite good, but lately there are issues every time I come. There's no one checking tickets in the front anymore, so you have to go through the concession stand. The concession lines are always extremely long, and the staff moves very slowly. Overall, it feels like there just isn't enough staff to handle the crowd. read more

Went to see Spirited Away as a special screening - There was a huge crowd by the door - the boy scanning the tickets wasn't telling people waiting to buy food to curve the line around so there was so much confusion. He was the only one scanning tickets and there were only two registers open for the concession stand. I ended up missing 20 minutes of the movie even though I got there 20mins early to see it because of the concession lines moving slowly. If I knew that there weren't going to be previews prior to the movie, I would've left the line to go watch the movie I paid for instead of waiting over 30mins for a small popcorn and lemonade. They were out of Cheetos popcorn and didn't have frozen lemonade so I had to go with regular popcorn and regular lemonade. Also, if you see huge lines for the only two concession registers - why don't you pull staff to open more registers? I'm going to be writing to corporate about this because I was really upset about missing the first 20mins of the movie for subpar popcorn and a drink. It was also $18 for a small popcorn and small lemonade. $19+ for one movie ticket. Parking was also $14.50... not worth it. Bathrooms could be cleaner. read more

My friends know I'm really into movie night with my kids. This will be our third time here but my 2nd check in, and first review. The benefits I see in going to Atlas park theatre is the location is 15-20 mins drive from us, beautiful location, clean theatres, friendly staff and security that actually secures. We bought our movie tickets on plumbenefits and was escorted to the kiosk to print and select our seats to see the Featured fast and furious movie with the Rock. We didn't wait long on the concession line and all registers were open. We only spent $25 for kids popcorn box with drink, nachos and pigs n blanket. That's really cheap considering how much we spend at other theatres. We really thought the seats would suck, but we were 4-5 rows from the screen and it was perfect seats. Horrible experience. My sister purchased tickets for August 8th at 8:25 pm not realizing it was not for Friday the 9th. We met after work and remind you I live in NJ she lives in Queens. So we get there, they scan the tickets and we are waiting for the movie to start. Once we realize it 8:25:pm and no one has left the theater. So we took a second look at the tickets to only realize they were purchased for the wrong day. We then asked to speak to a manager and he was not very helpful or even showed interest in speaking to us. He only gave us a card and asked us to call customer service or repurchase the tickets. Rude. We went to use the bathroom before we headed home to only smell the bathroom from the hall way and no soap or toilet paper, so we just left. Very unclean and unprofessional management. After searching for a movie theater in East New York I came across this place and it reminded me of ridge hill in Yonkers but with s twist. My girlfriend and I came to this movie theater to see planet of the apes. The place is like a mini mall and the stores are nice but we got there at around 9pm but everything was closed. The have a huge parking lot and they charge you by the hour. That I did not like, compare to the ridge hill you can come in the morning and leave in the night and it's only $3 fair is set. They also had many different stores and a huge display television with people on mats seen a outside movie that was pretty cool. But this review is based on the movie theater nothing else, everything else was up to par. When you finally at the section of buying your tickets at the booth. Only 3 windows for such a huge place, I can imagine this place on a busy day. The girl at the booth was nice, so ad guy that takes your tickets. This is were the 2 stars come in could have given this place a 1 but the person at the booth and the ticket guy were professional and nice. Very welcoming.. Before the money started we go to the eating section and order a few stuff. I must tell you that was the worst service I ever gotten. The name of the person at the register was Trishanna. 2 more girls where there but I did not remember there names. Those 3 girls should be fired or at least removed the those shifts. As me and my girlfriend were ordering stuff. Trishanna was rolling her eyes and making funny faces with her co workers. I order boneless wings with fries. The wings were cold and and the fries were mushy. So was my girlfriends burger cold and fries. One of the things I did not like was the seats in the movies. Very uncomfortable and the cop holder. Our "local" cinema. This place is our go to and I have to say, having worked in the cinema industry for a good number of years, this place is decently run. Are there queues to get your food and refreshments? Yes. But where is there a major chain cinema that does not?! Toilets are generally well looked after and they get you through the whole experience at the concessions stand relatively quickly enough albeit with some slight disorganization when it is very busy in terms of lines blending in as the ends get closer to the entrance. The auditoriums themselves are generally well kept and cleaned to a good degree as best as you can tell in the dark! Now just some suggestions if I may (not that you'll take it without a grain of salt but I do have some experience running a movie theater) maybe a meeter/greeter at the front entrance by the box office to inform/coach customers too use the ATMs to purchase or pick up their tickets? Surely that will help your box office lines? And secondly another meeter/greeter or even a manager actually managing the lines at the concessions stand especially at peak times where the lines blend in. Failing that putting up rope barriers just during peak times as I'm sure Regal is trying to operate an open floor foyer to make things look better at first glance. But what would I know ‍ read more

They don't accept Apple or Google Pay and they have stopped accepting cash now too. They never have enough staff to check tickets or to work the concession stands. They haven't had a ticket seller since before COVID. So tons of people get in without paying and then the paying customers have to make them move out of their seats which sometimes leads to fights. The bathrooms are sometimes dirty. The same four seats have been broken in the two theaters for over a year and have never been repaired. read more

I saw Lion King 2 last week here and this good choice to go. The parking lot fee isn't expensive and This theater allows you to pick a seat which I love. The booking attendant even allow us to have a seat together since no where had seats for three unless we were by the first three rows and those are pretty uncomfortable seats. We didn't even have to use the handicap seat because no one ever showed up next to the seat of me. This looks like a theatre I rather go to when a new movie comes and this location looks like the one to go because they have multiple viewings and seats. Nice Theater in the Atlas Park Shopping Center. There's paid indoor parking here. There is street parking in the area but it's a little bit of more of a walk than if you do the lot option. Plus open spots are hit or miss. The Theater itself is on the second level. I bought tickets online and had them scanned when I got there. There seems to be a decent amount of theaters here too. The rooms aren't too big which I like. The seats recline and have drink holders which is nice. Seats were tiered as well so short people like me don't have to worry as much about someone tall sitting in front of me. The lobby area has the concessions and video games as well. Nachos, hot dogs, burgers, fries, popcorn and soda were all available. Of course they has candy as well. There was also a gigantic candy vending machine there as well. This place used to be really good. I had a pretty terrible experience when it comes to the service provided. David was our cashier when we were getting our snacks for the movie . He didn't greet us , just had an annoyed look on his face. We started to order and pretty much nothing was available . No hot dogs , no pretzels, no slushies. We were only about to get popcorn and some nachos. Not sure if he just didn't want to be bothered to get what we were asking for or it wasn't available. Avoid coming here at all cost. So disappointed. Took my kids for our New Year's Day movie date this afternoon for a 4:20 pm screening time. We were all so excited since we've not been to the Cinema together for a long time. The line at the concessions was terribly long but I stayed in the line to get our popcorn and snacks while my kids and husband get settled inside the auditorium. When it was my turn after about 30mins of waiting, the lady attendant looked unimpressed when I showed her my voucher from my phone to redeem my popcorn and snack packs. She tried scanning the code but was not able to successfully scan it. She told me next time I use a voucher, I should have it printed for these vouchers don't work when scanned from a phone. She eventually told me that my voucher was already redeemed when I just literally got there in the line to claim it. She openly stated that she hates these vouchers. She announced that she shouldn't have worked today. I purchased snacks and a bottled water and she ordered me to get the water from the fridge that's in the line while there's a fridge right behind her with bottles of water in it. I apologized for not being in a cinema for a long time and not knowing the process of buying drinks and snacks here. I paid with my Apple pay ( since my voucher is already redeemed according to her) not knowing that this is not an acceptable form of payment here.She just rudely said I need to pay cash or with physical card. That was the last straw! I told her she's being rude right from the start I approached her counter. I suggested that they should have signs stating what are the acceptable forms of payment and what's not so their customers will not feel stupid and very much insulted by staffs. I paid with my card however this was not an experience I would like my patients to have when Im caring for them on Holidays. I very rarely get a day off on a holiday. Well, this was our first visit to this movie theater and we were pleased. As soon as we arrived, we able to walk right up to the ticket booth to purchase tickets immediately which was cool. There was a long line for the concession stand but it moved smoothly though. When you purchase large popcorn or drink, you get free refills which is definitely on point. Kudos to Regal Cinemas! I was impressed upon walking into the theater and seeing the nice seating throughout the theater. What I didn't know before I sat down was that the chairs recline back slightly which was pretty comfy for me. The theater was very clean and the bathroom as well. read more

They should be ashamed. Went to see little mermaid and the line for snacks was very long and there was no order. People were cutting the line and arguing. When I finally reached the cashier I said to her this line has no organization and people are cutting. She responded to me with my kids next to me that it isn't her problem. Very ironic that this is a theater and what's playing right now at this place is the COVID play. Went about a couple weeks ago to watch Spider-Man, showed my COVID card guy didn't even care. He just took a glance at it and said go. To that man I would give 5% but to the man that worked the door Friday march 4th around 10pm. If I could I would give him negative stars. First off all he looked out of place. His red hair was a mess, clothes was 2 sizes too big, he didn't let me in cause I didn't have two doses but was talking to me with his mask down LOL.
