So. We just got home from the movie Young Washington. Our review of the movie is wonderful BUT we were so disappointed that Regal Cinemas ran 20 minutes of very violent non- Patriotic, R rated movie clips depicting the worst of mankind BEFORE we got to the movie. I almost walked out. We vowed never to go at movie start times to avoid this in the future. We felt manipulated and that our minds were getting polluted for non- Patriotism! I took my grandkids to see Stitch and the light stayed on in the theater the entire movie and made the movie extremely hard to see. I tried to get someone to turn them off and couldn't find anyone except concession. They said they would send someone and never did! Some of the other guest left 25 minutes into the movie! read more

I appreciated they had the special concert movie I wanted to see and that is really the only reason why I came to this location. The building is very old. Very worn out. The bathroom has broken faucets. A water fountain was broken. But I will say the bathroom and the entrance and concession area was at least pretty clean. Items were well stocked. Theaters are very cold in the wintertime. I can feel no heat. If you like it cold, this is the place for you.

We ended up at this theatre because it offered an early matinee time that worked better for us. When we walked in it was unclear who scanned our tickets. Five workers behind the counter and in front of it kept talking even though I was standing there a while and didn't acknowledge me even though eye contact had been made. Finally, I asked can you tell me who scans my tickets. A guy that wasn't behind the counter scanned them for me. Super unprofessional. I went to the concession to get a drink and my free birthday popcorn. There were three people back there. I don't understand why. There were a lot of workers doing a whole lot of nothing. That went fine. The women's bathroom was gross. Pee on the stall floors. There were only poop dryers and no paper towel for your hands. Just ick. My husbands chair had a squeak and was broken in some way. The seating was where you pick your seats so we mistakenly thought the chairs would be recliners. They weren't. As a theater is you live between Greenville and Nc this is very convent. Good selection of movies, price is comparable for movies toys. Even on a release weekend, it was surprisingly light at the time I went. Downfalls: service was slow. No sense of urgency. They started selling full on food (tacos and pizza and salad) but didn't add a restaurant staffer to take care of it. Adding the adult beverages was a great idea, but having to wait for someone to go get some one old enough to verify my ID would have been great. Hire at least one from cashier over the age 18. They were all present though, just missed the energy. Also, down to a 4, the lack of game room options pre movie. Will still go but will second guess concessions until it's resolved a bit more! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I bought 7 tickets for $90 to watch a movie with my family on Saturday. Unfortunately, we arrived 15 minutes late due to a flat tire. When we got there, all the doors were locked and the workers just watched us wait outside in the cold. Eventually, a woman with colorful hair came to the door and told us they were closed, even though the movie was still playing. She said we could request a refund through the app. Despite us freezing from waiting outside for so long, she didn't even invite us inside to warm up. We ended up leaving. When I asked for a refund from the app, I was informed that I could only get one within 60 minutes before the movie starts. It was a complete waste of $90. The workers were rude, and the place looked outdated. I suggest spending your money elsewhere! read more

It's been a minute since I've been to Regal Cherrydale. It's a nice movie theater. What I like most about Cherrydale, it's closer to Easley and the matinee start at least by 10:00am. I went to see the Lion King, but wanted to see it earlier than 12:30pm(Premiere in Easley's time). The concession stand now offers alcoholic beverages(omg) how long has that been happening?? A nice touch if you're on a movie date night I guess. I had a very enjoyable morning at Cherrydale, I need to visit again soon. On a movie tip, if you liked the 1994 animated Lion King, you will probably like the newer one, I did shed a tear or two! read more

Came Saturday afternoon the concession has terrible service no Pepsi half of the soft drinks they didn't have. Too incompetent to know how change out bottles to keep this from happening. I have never been so uncomfortable inside a movie theater!! And it wasn't because of the staff, they were fairly courteous and nice. The chairs and the theater itself just needs an upgrade. This is the worst Regal I have ever been to. I have been too many beyond the state of South Carolina, in this place is definitely the worst and the low of the lowest. It is kind of clean but you don't want to sit there for an hour in those chairs! There isn't a seating arrangement or any chairs inside of this movie theater (other than the Dolby/RPX movies) that are actually comfortable. I love Cherrydale Cinemas, this is my favorite cinema in Greenville, SC. I'm still reserving a star until they get reclining seats like the nicer theaters around the country. The cashiers are always very friendly. They are quick to get our food/drink orders completed and if you go back for refills they generally ask you how you are enjoying your movie. The floors are not sticky and I rarely see trash on the floors. I like the fact that they take care of the small stuff. This is always a great experience. read more

My second time here to watch Secret Life of Pets 2 with my son. The staff was very professional and the place was clean. Check out their sparkly floors, oh my. I love the glitter. It has a full expanded concessions stand and a party area, too. We opted to go without snacks this time as we just had ice cream before we came. The seating was average... I prefer the seats at the movie theatre at Camelot better. They don't recline (neither does Camelot) and the cup holders/arm rests don't move up and down like some other theatres I've been to, which come in handy for sleeping/cold kids who want to lay on you! (Lol) The place was impressively clean, but I was a little bummed at the cost of the tickets. 2 tickets cost right under $20. We would definitely consider coming back. Two thumbs up! read more

We went today to see The super mario movie. I bought the tickets online for the 3D showing. When we got there the power was out. No fault of theirs but they were giving paper tickets to customers to have them come back. I asked if they would work for 3D because that is what I bought and the gentleman giving the tickets said yes. I saw the manager as I was walking out and asked him the same, he said yes they will work at any Regal cinema and standard or 3D. HAHAHAHA. We then drove across town to Hollywood 20 and stood in line to see the later showing. When I got up to the counter I showed her the tickets and the tickets on my phone. When I looked at the screen there was a $10 charge. I asked why I was being charged a reissue fee and she said it is because it was 3D. I said no he told us it will work for either and a girl with pink hair told me "well he lied to you" "Sorry there is nothing we can do".. Really! I caught a manager and she asked if everything was ok, I told her the situation and she said "Well all I can do is issue a ticket worth $13." I mean that's great and fine and all but I actually paid for that ticket so it did me no good. With this kind of scam I don't ever want to go back! read more

A good theatre away from the crazy of woodruff road! The parking lot is huge and there's several restaurants and a great ice cream store nearby. Good sound and comfy seats. The line for popcorn and drinks was very slow and only 1 girl working on a busy night. The big screens are pretty nice, however this last film I noticed pink tone in the upper corners of the film, not great. I hope they're able to read and improve in these two areas to become a 5 star theatre. read more

After paying 57$ to come into the theater for first time after pandemic, to watch "the quiet place 2" I had a terrible experience in this theater. The fire detection system is malfunctioning making noise throughout the whole movie. It was impossible to make the experience enjoyable or even to concentrate on the movie. This is my local cinema but not my favorite. The seats are rather narrow and not very comfortable - I believe they are due an upgrade. That being said, the staff is typically friendly though the lines are often long at the concessions stand. A solid movie theater. We've been taking advantage of a special offered by Regal Cinemas: special screenings of all 10 Nominees for Oscar for Best Picture. The fee was $35 and there are several showings of each picture up until the evening of the Oscars broadcast. This gives you the opportunity to select the best times and days to see the shows in which you're interested. Showtimes are 1:00,4:00,7:00, and 10:00 everyday. We've binge watched and grabbed a quick meal in between showings at nearby restaurants. Additionally, there are concession specials with the offer. We've certainly gotten our money's worth! We've seen some excellent movies, feel abreast of the Oscar buzz, AND had fun scheduling when we'd go to the cinema. It may be a bit late to participate this year, but be on the look out for this next year! I know we will! read more

I'm a frequent movie goer. This place is the worst theater I've ever been to. It's even worse than the one I went to that was smack dab in the middle of trailer parks. There's a weird high pitched noise coming from the speakers that is like they're busted, the chairs are all broken, the workers don't know what they're doing and honestly don't care, and they're out of basically everything. No napkins, no root beer, and no salt. Asked for no ice, got ice. Asked for no butter, they loaded my popcorn with so much butter that it immediately leaked through the bag. I live close by here and I have movie pass so I come to this theater quite often, every time I come here I get good service. The ticket sales people and then people serving the food/drinks are always polite and professional. I like the theater rooms as well, the chairs are comfortable and roomy. The screen sizes are good and the surround sound is really good. If you're in the cherrydale area I would definitely watch a movie here rather than going somewhere else. read more

service here is comparable to a mcdonald's. there's almost never any straws, employees are rude, there's only a few registers open every single time i go. i don't know if he was a manger or another sales associate but i watched him stand around, then just walk around behind the counter as each register had at least 4 people in every line, then go stand behind a machine so no one could see him and talk to the other employees, instead of i don't know helping anyone on the registers or at least trying to look busy. also i don't know who is in charge of dimming the lights in each of the theaters but the lights were not all the way dimmed/off in the theater we were in, which really ruined the scary movie we went to see. i think this regal is equal to what the product of walmart and mcdonald's having a baby would be, just sad read more

Spacious and very clean, the movie theater itself was comfortable. I was also pleased to discover that when I sat down my seat didn't try to snap shut every time I crossed my legs (a huge problem at Hollywood 20), so no issues there. However: someone needs to oil those hinges! My "Larry Crowne" experience was significantly hindered by the constant SCRREEEECH.....CRREEEEAK.....SCRREEECH....CRRREEEAK of the darn seats every time someone shifted his or her fanny. Then you have to get in another ridiculously long line to purchase drinks and popcorn. This was hands down, the dirtiest theater I've ever been in... Nasty! It started w the men's room. Piss all over the floor, sinks dirty and full of water, broken and empty soap dispenser, and hand dryers didn't work. While I waited for my food order, I looked around to my dismay to see not a clean counter area in site. No where to set my soda or lean without getting filth on your ARM. Gross. I noticed several people w walkitalkies all chilling in front area, and so I asked to speak with THE GENERAL MANAGER. While I waited, I watched a guy walk through the lobby w a mop, no bucket, headed straight for the bathroom. 3 mins later, out he comes, same mop and no bucket probably pee soaked. Great!! Upon meeting the "GM" and expressing my concern, he seemed rather irritated. I told him about the 3 guys roaming around w brooms and laughing, but clearly doing nothing. "Ha!", he responded, "I guess their just slackers". Horrible and nasty from top to bottom! I would hate to see where the food is cooked. I got my order and tossed it right in the trash...
