I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Jason told a walk in he would do her nails. This man rushed my nails and did a half ass job. The style I wanted, which was so simple he pretended he couldn't do. I have been going to this man from when he worked at Top Nails. He has always been able to do any design. I wasn't happy at all with the rush job he did with my nails. When it was time for my pedicure, he asked if I would wait 20 minutes while he did the walk-in nails. I told him no. I had just done 16 hours at work, I had a wedding to go to, and then I was leaving for vacation 2 days later. Do you know Jason walked away from doing my pedicure and said im going to do her nails because she has been waiting too long? I kindly got up, and I told him I would never come back to his nail shop ever again. I had an appointment, and you pushed me to the side for someone who walked in. All because he's money hungry. I told him, "You dont treat your customers that way. Remind you, one of his workers had dropped glue in my eyes, and I had to be rushed to the E.R. I could've sued him. But I didn't. Thinking he was a stand-up go. He's not a good person at all. I've never felt so disrespected in my life. I would never step foot into his establishment ever again. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The nail tech was so rude when I walked in. I told her I wanted a gel manicure she said "no you get dip". I said no I don't want dip, I want gel. She huffed and puffed. I first got my pedicure which she spent 90% of the time on her phone rather then on my toenails. I was in the pedicure chair for well over an hour. I couldn't believe she sat on her phone the whole time. I won't even go into her doing my nails.... I just won't go back! read more

While in Middletown for work I had some spare time and wanted to get my nails done. Most locations closed before I get there so I chose to go to Regal Nails in Walmart. I have had soso experience at other salons within Walmart but decided to give it a try. Salon is under new management and they are in the process of remodeling. Music was great and my nail tech was AMAZING. I feel bad because I did not get her name but she is younger and due to have a baby.... she recommended gel nails vs acrylic, a bit more for gel but I do not like the thickness of the acrylic so I agreed. Located inside Wal-mart, this salon is horrible. they do a half assed job with nails. I went for a pedi and I ended up re doing it my self. The tech's were super unprofessional. One of the tech's were loudly discussing with the manager if she is going to get paid, because she hasn't, and if the answer was no she was not going to finish a client's nails and walk out. The client sitting there was astounded listening to her remarks and told her to finish. I told the tech who was doing my pedi that the water was hot and he ignored me. Their prices is ridiculous for the lack of service provided. a word of advice if it's empty is because it sucks. Do not go there! read more

I'm not giving this place any stars at all. So let me start with the fact that I always have had my nails "done" with gel because its healthier for my nails and I can not stress that I hate acrylic. Went to this place because a family member had gone here prior to a wedding and had a standard French done. Acrylic***. It was good work. So I figured thy could do gel. It's been less than a week and my nails are chipped, breaking, peeling, uneven, and the worst get experience I've had. Workers are inexperienced, have little to no communication skills, and over charge for sloppy work. I had to walk the girl through how to do my nails because she had no idea. I shouldn't have to tell someone that the nails should be filed evenly. Needless to say they charged me half, apologized, and the owner came and tried to fix them. Never again will I go to this place. Maybe the galleria has better workers. read more

I have never gotten acrylic nails done in my lifetime before I came here. Even still, I have seen enough Nail Career Education videos to know that the nail tech MURDERED my nails. I have nothing against individuals who speak more than one language as I am one of those people myself, but it seemed to me the tech barely understood English. It was hard to get across what I wanted or explain to him he was hurting me because he didn't understand me. He filed my real nails with a drill bit, stuck nail tips on that were too small for my nail very lazily, and when it came to the acrylic, he filed down the sides of my real nail. It was so painful I couldn't even say anything. Not only this, but he got dirt stuck under the gel coat. He also did not bother to touch the eponychium or cuticles of my nails in the beginning, but rather waited until the end to use the drill bit to take my cuticle off. He reused unsanitized equipment on me. The hand massage felt like he was just holding my hand, and begging for tips. The color and shape of the acrylics are beautiful, but I can't get over the pain, the visible dirt, and the look of my real nail growing splinted and weak on the sides of the acrylic. Please, if you love your nails, do not go here. Pay the extra $10-$15 and get it done at the mall. read more

I have been to the location in Middletown, New York several times but today when I went, it was a nightmare!! I asked for an acrylic fill-in and Lucy was my nail technician. She asked if I wanted the nails cut down and I said yes. Instead of cutting the nails, she used the electric filer to shave the ends of the nails off. Now, this would have been fine if it weren't for the fact that she not only took off the tip of the nail but also filed the right hand side of the nail down significantly lower than the left side. A few of the nails were so bad that there was almost no acrylic covering my nail on the right side. When I brought this to her attention and asked her to add acrylic to the tip, she responded "I haven't filed them yet, let me work." I replied that even if she filed them so that they were even, the nail was too thin and would surely break. She told me no they won't, I've done your nails before, they'll be fine, let me work. I then tried to protest again, but she told me that if I still didn't like it after she was done filing, she would fix it. I agreed to let her continue. Sure enough when she was "done" filing and told me to go wash my hands, the nails were still crooked, where the right side was lower than the left. From the top of my hands, it looked like the nails were curving down on the right side because the acrylic was so much lower than the left side. I told her my concerns again and she replied with, "just go wash your hands." At this point I became very upset because she refused to do my nails the way I wanted them. I then told her that unless she fixed them and made them even, I was not going to pay for the nails. Another man then approached me and asked what the problem was, and I assumed he was the owner, but I'm not sure. I showed him my nails and expressed my concerns that on each nail, the right side was significantly thinner than the left side. After looking at them he said, "don't look at them from the front, only from the top. They look good from the top". I then replied that they needed to be even and that the thin side was so thin that I was afraid the nail would break. He told me no, they won't break, it's a good fill-in. I then said again that I would not pay unless they fixed the nails. He said "where else can you go that will do a fill-in this good, no where. The nails look good." I then said that any other place would make the nails even on both sides and would not leave me with crooked nails. Finally Lucy exclaimed "ugh, I'm getting a headache, just go wash you hands." I said again that I was not paying for them unless they fixed the problem so the man said "fine you can leave without paying, but before she leaves, cut the nails off". I said there is no way you are cutting my nails off, I payed for a fill-in and already had the nails before I came here! Then Lucy said "fine, leave and don't come back!" I assured them that I would not return and took my nail polish and purse and started to leave. As I was leaving the man yelled "you have to cut the nails off!", and I left before I could be harassed any more. I can't believe they wanted me to pay for nails that were crooked, not to mention two of my fingers were bleeding where she shaved the skin off with the file. Save your time and money and go to a place that at least respects their customers enough to do a good job and not throw you out when you ask for your nails to be even. read more

Out of convenience I have been going to this nail salon for years but unfortunately it has taken a turn for the worse. First of all it seems as though they can not keep technicians, they have a high turnover rate. Secondly I went in to get my nails groomed and instead came out BUTCHERED. I actually had to sit in the salon until the bleeding stopped. My understanding of a nail technician is that she/he is a beauty specialist who is responsible for the grooming and appearance of a client's fingernails and toenails, not cut them up. I no longer get anything done to my nails except a manicure every two weeks. it seems as though every time i want a manicure they are hesitant to accommodate me. One Sat. they told me to come back in an hour, so I did some shopping since the salon is located in Walmart (Middletown) and to my disappointment I still had to wait another hour. If I did not have a function to attend I would have left. Another woman needing a manicure was waiting as well. Today was the last straw...I was shopping and decided to get my nails manicured and was told that it was to late, mind you it was a little past six o'clock and I know that they close later than that. I am in Walmart several times a week. The technician told me that it was to late and she wanted to go home. I am sure that if she was the owner she would welcome my fifteen dollars. In all fairness she and another technician were engaged in doing their client nails however there was another technician doing absolutely nothing. I know that he do manicures because he did mine before. I was even willing to wait. The technician continued to do her client nails, speaking her language and smirking. The customers were even surprised at her attitude. Not only was she unprofessional but disrespectful as well. If a manicure is not worth her time then stop advertising the service. I have been there when the owner was around and everyone was on their A game...at this rate this salon will be under new management again REAL SOON. read more
