Incredibly uncomfortable! My dad and I decided to switch up our routine and visit the Regal Turlock location since they had an earlier showing of the movie we wanted to watch (Crime 101). We had bought vouchers online at TicketsatWork for our tickets and snacks. When we presented them at the concession stand, the worker seemed to have never seen them before. She scanned the vouchers and added the items we requested to the system but was having trouble removing the cost of the items. She had to call over another coworker to instruct her on how to do it. Thankfully we arrived early, otherwise we would have likely missed the beginning of the movie because it took quite a while. After the second worker helped us, we were able to upgrade the voucher's small popcorn and drink to a large for only a few dollars. We noticed that this theater does not offer a self-serve butter machine. You have to tell the concessions worker that you want butter on your popcorn and hope that they will do it sufficiently. The theaters themselves are truly awful. I was expecting the seating to be like the other nearby Regal locations but was quickly disappointed. The seats here do not recline and are incredibly tiny. I have been on budget planes with more spacious and comfortable seats than this. They are cramped with no leg room at all. The backs of the chairs are short so if you are tall, your neck will just be flopping around. When the movie ended, they did not even raise the lights. They left the theater pitch black as the credits roll where they usually raise them so people can exit safely. I would say though that I appreciate them having security (although minimal). About a quarter of the way into the movie, a man with a orange cone flashlight came in, stood for a while, and left. I will not be coming back and will keep going to the Modesto location. read more

We like to come for Monday night mystery movies sometimes and there's always plenty of seating so we can get our usual spots. This was my second time coming here and today I remember why I had not been back since Dune. Seating is very cramped. Minimal leg room feels like economy seats on an airplane. Came on premier of conjuring, no souvenirs on display or for sale. I will continue to drive up to Stockton regal or modesto. They always have merchandise for movies they promote. My family and I wanted to catch the Super Mario Galaxy Movie in 3D and because we had some Regal gift cards stashed away, we purchased tickets and concessions online for this location. The staff was friendly and efficient, from the initial QR code scan of our tickets to picking up our snacks. The lobby, auditorium and restrooms were all exceptionally clean and in good working order. My only issue is that the seats, at least in the auditorium where our screening took place, are noticeably smaller than other theaters in the area and lack modern features such as reclining options that other chains have had in place for a couple of decades at this point. read more

ZERO STARS IF I COULD! One of the worst movie going experiences of my life. I went here on a Saturday to go see the movie Plane. Upon entering we were greeted by the young man with the multi colored hair and he was pleasant and smiled and directed us to the theater we were in. The snack bar guy? He hated his life and sighed and gave dirty looks to his manager and sulked without saying 2 words to us. No smile and no thank you and no sign of even wanting to be there. I wasn't even asked if I wanted butter, which I did not want, he just started putting it on. I had to let him know only a little please as he already put some on it. Now the seats are tiny and so was the screen. The patron were rude as the family in front of us were facetiming the whole time. The kid behind us continued to kick our seats and when I turned around to see who it was and turned back I had food thrown in my hair. What a horrible experience. I don't think I will ever return. Who let's small children in movies late at night. Offer an adults only showing please because people are really disrespectful when it comes to their children in the theatres. Changing my 5 star to a 1 star because I just tried to buy the Venom popcorn bucket for $39.99 and they wanted to charge me extra for popcorn. Uhm, are you guys okay? It's a popcorn bucket. It's supposed to come with popcorn. Every other Regal ever gives you the popcorn with the bucket. It's $40!!! I asked for the manager because surely they were mistaken, right?! Nope! She was super rude. Her tone was awful and she said every Regal does that. No, they really don't! Avoid this greedy location at all costs. Who knows how else they're trying to rip you off. Definitely not too pleased with the theater. The experience overall is very mediocre. Where is similar to other theaters. I couldn't give anything higher than two stars because I did lose my water bottle and yet interestingly enough it wasn't in the lost and found. How can you take a customers water bottle?. It's obvious that it's not a five dollar water bottle that you just throw away. It came with a shoulder sling. My suggestions to all other customers, don't expect lost items to be returned from the staff at this location. We ordered a popcorn and drink and Icee. Again nothing special but the popcorn was less than average. They mixed old popcorn and freshly popped popcorn. I was having difficulty chewing the popcorn on some of them. Recommendation: Don't expect to have your lost items returned to you. I wouldn't recommend this movie theater to anyone. Next time I'm heading to Brenden Theaters. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, no where to put stuff. I dropped my cheese dip because the tray was too flimsy, made me pay for another. Movie supposed to start at 9:00 started at 10:30. Smelt like nasty cheese feet. Popcorn all over the floor everywhere. Dropped my cheese inside the theater due to no room of the seats. As a huge Coraline fan me and my family were so excited to see the movie in theaters. Staff made our visit so uncomfortable and was being argumentative in-front of my children. Alejandra was rude - when I asked about the Coraline merchandise she rudely stated - " idk it all sold out I wasn't working that day so idk ." Our movie experience was good. We got there when they opened so the theater looked decent. Greeter and concession staff were friendly and still in a good mood. Got the standard large popcorn and large drink with free refills. Restrooms were very clean. The theater itself needs a much needed overhaul/remodel. I had to chuckle at the orange and brown Burger King-esque walls. Seats were comfortable for the first hour or so then it starts to get uncomfortable because cause they're old and worn. It's kind of like an old couch you tolerate at home. Turlock is growing and I can only hope for a new movie theatre in the future. I really don't want to drive all the way to Riverbank but those reclining seats sure make a difference in the movie experience. read more

I love this movie theater not just because i live in the area but because they always have great selection of movies. The place has always been clean and i been coming to this theater for many many years. I love that now they do selective seating because before you had to get there really early on premiere days haha. Luckily now you get that ease and flexibility of not having to rush and stress. Employees have always been friendly i have never had any issues. Every-time i watch a movie its always a good experience and this review is based on me being there last night watching "Don't Breath 2". Despite covid i am glad they are open again and doing good business cause there are a lot of scary movies coming out i want to watch on the big screen. read more

Warning!!! Janitor or Employees Stole $800! Stay away from this location! My girlfriend and I went for the last showing of The Joker at 7:25pm on Monday. We were in the font row, with no one around us, this was the last showing of the night. We were the last people in the movie theater, we watched everyone leave, and remained the the theater for a while. When we left the theatre to get food, we realized my wallet was missing, it must have fell under the seat as I sat down. So clearly, no one behind us could have seen the wallet and stolen the money. We went back to the theatre to find that it was closed, so I went back before they opened the next day. They recovered my wallet and all cards, but OF COURSE the $800 in cash was stolen!!! This money was given to me by my mother to help her buy her pane ticket to see my grandparents for the holidays! There are only two possible culprits, the staff or the janitors. The manager would would not disclose the name of the janitor or the company who was responsible for cleaning the theatre. This location has cameras outside of each theatre so they KNOW who goes in and out. I am absolutely dumbfounded by the lack of integrity at this location, the poor level of management, and the blatant disregard for human decency. *I will update this review, if this location decides they want to hold their workers responsible for the theft and return the money* read more

Got tickets to a movie to find a family of 5 sitting in our seats. We simply changed seats and didn't say anything until more tickets were bought and we had to end up moving out of those seats and just left. We went to get a refund and asked the workers if they check the seats because our situation turned super awkward and all they said was that people wouldn't be in the theater if they didn't have tickets lol. Best movie theater in the Central Valley, possibly California. You'll never find an un-popped kernel in your popcorn. The seats are also top notch with no equal. Went to see Star Wars and had to sit through 25 minutes of mind-numbing ads for the dumbest crap. Actually had to go out and request they play the movie. Still had to watch another 8 trailers or so. Totally don't recommend this theater as you will be out of drink and snacks plus irritated to all hell before the movie even starts. The bathroom was clean though, but outside of that the ads are really too much plus the seats are old school junker seats from the 90's style. WHY do you NOT accept cash as payment?! What is the underlying reason for this business decision? Because, I'm pretty sure that no one stopped to think about how this "policy" essentially punishes those of us who don't have enough monthly income to justify paying a monthly service fee for a checking account. Let me start out by saying manager Diana A. and cashier Clarissa get 5 stars, but the establishment and my experience get 2 stars! I paid $12.20 per ticket and the seats don't even go back at all.
