I cringe when I get stuck having to watch a movie here either due to its sold out everywhere else. The parking is decent but shares it with a busy poker room as you approach you normally get greeted with a box office but in the morning or afternoon one has to walk in and walk around half lost searching for it (last time I seriously just walked straight to my movie) getting concessions was a abnormally long wait with one person or two behind a counter(under staffed) and as you watch movies to finally relax and enjoy a film you paid for, you get stuck with the most uncomfortable itchy 70's wool like seats you can ever sit it. Seriously consider Modesto or riverbank to watch a movie, or even dare I say Merced! Zero stars if I could. read more

If the managers are reading this, please pay special attention: if there are over thirty people lined up waiting to buy tickets, it would be an excellent (dare I say novel) idea to open another window. What? Why? You ask: Reason 1: People don't like waiting in the summer heat. Reason 2: People may be cutting it close to starting time. Reason 3: You've got plenty of bodies floating around in employee garb inside; might as well put them to something useful. ...I'll stop there. You're theater is nice, but you've got to keep the customer in mind. Modesto's a hop skip away and people will drive just to avoid bad service. I visited this theater with my family to see a movie and I thought we had an average experience. The pricing was very reasonable compared to most theaters and I also thought the place was clean. The staff was polite and friendly but could work on giving better customer service. One area of opportunity would be the hallway just before the seating area. There was a stench in the area. Best guess would be if they cleaned and deodorized the carpets it would go away. read more

Having a movie theater in Turlock is great. Having one that is clean is even better! Regal is always clean and you can't beat the matinee ticket price. No matter when we go, it is pretty much packed. And I love their rewards program - I can't complain about getting free snacks every now & then. read more

While Regal Turlock is not one of the huge new theaters, it is a nice place to watch a movie. I really wish they would build an IMAX in Turlock. The nearest one is in Pleasanton/Dublin and would bring in a lot of revenue from the valley. But we don't and Regal is in a less than ideal location, but is great for this town, until someone realizes putting one by Monte Vista Crossings is a great idea. read more

Theaters are hard to maintain, and working at one is really difficult. Major props to Regal Turlock for keeping everything clean. I will say that whenever I go to this theater, they have one or two people at the box office with a long line. I always wondered why they never put a third or even a fourth person to help them out. Anyways, I've seen a handful of movies at this theater and I really like the seats. Snacks are priced the same as every other movie theater (unnecessarily overpriced). Bathrooms are kept clean and neat with lots of stalls, which is really nice especially when trying to use the bathroom after a movie got done or is about to start. read more

I have been going to this theater for years when it and Wal-Mart were the only things worth going to in town. It got kind of a bum deal when the city grew away from it and left it in an awkward location out of the way. I will give credit for them keeping a clean and modern theater. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but when you're 6'5" it's hard to sit anywhere for 2+ hours. I prefer the Regal in Merced because it's a little nicer and more comfortable. I rarely go to Brendan because this one is so easy to get in and out of without having to worry about parking. Also the Regal club card is seriously amazing, I watch a lot of movies and the rewards rack up fast. Main issue is with prices. I've lived in a few states and the matinee tickets here are as much if not more than a regular ticket anywhere else. It seems to be a Valley thing and I understand it's in response to people sneaking into movies, but raising prices can't be the only option. Once you buy a ticket there's nothing stopping you from camping out all day. Turlock recently hid their theaters into just numbers so I frequently walk down a hall and forget which door I'm supposed to enter because the name of the movie isn't in front. read more

I thought the price was a little high with not having the declining seats... but the movie we wanted to see was only playing at this theater so we went. Somehow I purchased tickets for the night before for a group from church. But they ended up giving us tickets for that night and a free pass!! I was impressed and humbled!! They even gave me a free pass. Then they insisted on helping my pregnant sister back to her seat carrying her snacks. She's begged for help in riverbank with none to assist. This movie theater was ok.. when we first came there was a very long line for movies, so we decided to just wait for the next showing. I would say if there is long lines to open another window booth. I thought their turn off cellphones message on the screen was definitely more fun than most theaters that talk to you like you're a kid and makes you want to keep your phone on. Overall we really enjoyed our movie showing. The 3D, sound and effects were great. I have to say the seats were ok but not the comfiest I had in a theater but otherwise the theater was very clean and nice. I would come again! :) read more

My go to theater in the area! Normally I would switch between this and Brendan but I personally love the intimate movie experience I get at Regal. With my regal rewards card I've gotten so many good perks such as free tickets and free popcorn! Would recommend, the staff is always nice. read more

We went today and arrived 45 minutes before our movie to get tickets, concessions, seats, etc. according to the website, the box office opens at 11 on Sundays. Not so, there was a line of 50+ people by the time it FINALLY opened at noon- 15 minutes before our movie. Manager taking tickets didn't care. There was only ONE person in box office. This is the second time we have had issues with the box office not opening at a reasonable time. Due to the late opening, we skipped the concessions which is where they make they money. Also, once the movie started, it went 5 minutes with sound but no picture. It took another 5-10 minutes to fix that. Not once did an employee address the theater patrons. We like to buy local, but now will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

We have been going to the movies @ Regal Cinemas Turlock (sometimes every week) for 27 years. We were so disappointed to hear that the company that just took over Regal Cinemas "made it clear they have NO intentions of putting in recliner seating in Turlock". The company states "they will put in new seats, maybe leather; but they have no competition in Turlock and do not feel pressure for the recliner seats". These are quotes directly from an employee. That is pretty crappy. They are the ONLY theater in the area (Modesto, Manteca, Merced) without the recliners. read more

Literally the third time I've been here and asked for EXTRA EXTRA butter on my popcorn and they literally put the tiniest squirt on top. I don't care how bad it is for me, if I ask for EXTRA EXTRA butter I expect my butter on my popcorn. I want my fingers to be glistening after I take a bite of my popcorn. Pretty disappointed. This is the most filthiest theater I have ever been in . Coming from the Bay Area to visit family and watch a movie we purchased the tickets online earlier that day all prepared . We get to the theater my first step inside the place felt stuffy like they had no AC running !!! Your basically breathing other people's body odor !! The floors are completely filth popcorn everywhere over flown trash cans . I mean for a place that's not too far from the bay they need to step it up and revamp there staffing and make it a clean and sanitary environment for family's . This is a very well maintained & clean theater. I came here last week to see The Avengers with my son. I had discounted tickets in which they honored and they had lines organized outside the screens before the movie started. Of course the snack bar is overpriced which is expected. i got a medium drink & popcorn for $12.25!! WTF? Anyhow I prefer this location over the Modesto one and I plan on returning back to watch some good summer flicks coming soon to the big screen! read more

I came to watch a movie here with my girlfriend but I am from LA. Movie theaters are usually very basic and to the point with everything. Nothing too extravagant but nothing too horrible either. This time though I went and was asked if I had a Regal Crown Club card and after telling the manager, John, that I had lost my card a looonnggggg time ago. He went through ALOT of trouble to set me up a new card! Thanks for everything John. read more

It was pretty busy because the new movie Insidious : Last Key, had came out and a cashier there was really rude towards us. Came here with the grandkids and the box office was inside by the food section. The matinee was $9@..are you serious when most of the theaters at that time at $6 a piece..then the cashier was seated and less enthusiastic in processing the sales. I did not see any popcorn..well then when we were going to the theater..the ticket person or associate went on the side and did not assist us..I was waiting for him to actually greet us and to you know took a portion of the tickets but he did not do anything..but the movie went smoothly so I am pleased with that.. read more

Overall this theater isn't bad. It's clean and the staff is generally friendly. No matter what theater you're at there will always be someone on their phone, and that annoying group that never stops talking. So I didn't weigh that in my rating. The issue at hand is during the week you'll be lucky if there is any movie playing after 8pm. So if you have a busy schedule and can only check out a movie at a later showing, your best bet is a Friday or saturday night. Then however you have to consider sharing most of the theater with teenagers dressed as if they have been clubbing all night. One other thing is that this theater rarely ever has any independent films or anything that may spark a little bit of controversy. That i feel just has to do with the area we live in. Controversy is not always a bad thing. But all in all its a pretty good place to watch a movie. read more

How do you rate the only movie theater in town. theirs nothing else to compare it to. and they are all costly when it comes to the snack bar and ticket prices.I recommend You becoming a "Regal club member". Ive already earned 5 free movies and tons of free sodas, candy and popcorn. I suggest purchasing the kids meal. It has popcorn a soft drink and a some gummy worms. just enough to keep you from having to go Pee half way through the movie and its only 5 bucks. I will say that it is super clean and if your in to matinees its awesome for uncrowded seats. Just saw Project X there and it was super funny. Like Super Bad and The Hangover had sex and made a Baby. This theater is 20+ years old and starting to show its age. The seats are originals and definitely show their age. The armrests are so worn out and thread bare. Don't even expect any cushion. We went to a late afternoon show and sat through 15 previews. That was nearly 30 mins of selling other movies before we get to see the one we paid for. Despite it's age, the staff does a good job of keeping things clean. It is just time to invest some upgrades to an aging business. $16 for tickets for my son and I. Add another $28 for a small and medium soda, large popcorn and a box of candy. It was a good time. Just can't do it too often at that price. read more

Great place to take the family for quick movie flick. TURLOCK Cinema has 14 screens. It offers standard edition and real 3D formats.

The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because staff was actually kind to me and my husband and assisted as professional as they could. The thing that got to me the most is the fact the seats are super uncomfortable and small as well as there is hardly or no space to stretch or move without bumping into your neighbor or the back seats surrounding you especially if the movie is three hours long you'd expect at least some comfy chairs that make your stay more suitable. Also bathroom maintenance needs to be done more occasionally because it was a big mess when I walked in and there was toilet all over the floor. I'm so unsatisfied because if you are a plus size those chairs are no where near for you! read more

Grandson loved the movie and all the treats($35.00) soda, candy, popcorn, hot dog, but he is so worth it,. Always enjoy his company.
