I always feel like I'm getting top-quality care from someone who truly knows what he's doing. The dentist is sucks! I went to do a clean in this location, the dentist check my teeth and said I need a filling in my molar teeth(I never feel pain or any uncomfortable on this teeth) yes then I did a filling according to his suggestion in this location. After that I felt pain on this teeth especially every time after drink cold water. This teeth became sensitive and uncomfortable after he did a filling for me. Then I went to another dentist to check he told me I need a root canal because the first dentist not doing a good filling he touched my teeth nerve!! Now I have to pay $1200 to do the root canal and $700 to have a crown on the teeth. Please find a better dentist instead of come to this location, or you will pay more after his treatment, you never know what he will do to your teeth. Don't Come To This Location!!!!! read more

The receptionists are very unprofessional and rude. When I arrived for mine & my son's appointment, one receptionist told us to go back to the door and read the sign. The sign said to call them from the door, I open the door and asked if I am required to call, and the second receptionist pointed and yelled "READ" in a very rude and unprofessional way. I called and said me & my son have an appointment which were back to back, one was at 9 am and one was at 10 am, she proceeded to say that we were 10 minutes late and we messed up the schedule, so only one of us could be seen. Do not bother coming to this place unless you want to be treated unprofessional and rudely. They just lost 5 clients. read more

I hardly visit any dental clinic since I've alway had bad experiences when it comes to having nice, healthy teeth. Either the dentist is too rough with needle injections or they not performing a job to my satisfaction. For this reason, it's been a decade that I have not visited any dentist until today. Dr. Richard E. Chen has such gentle hands with skills and super friendly demeanor as his entire staff are trained with professionalism. The entire staff greeted me with friendly smiles and had therapeutic communication. I felt so comfortable and at ease throughout the procedure. Dr. Chen listened and did exactly what I wanted and this put a big smile back along with my confidence since I never smile big for a long time. Thank you to Dr. Chen for restoring my confidence back in my smile and I'm truly grateful for fixing my teeth just the way I wanted. I have had two appointments at 8am, which is when they open. Both times they were 30+ minutes late. I would understand if there were appointments in front of me that went long and created a delay. But, I was the first appointment of the day they just didn't show up on time. I had X-rays done here about two weeks ago brought my 3 yr with me and the dental assistant was amazing . I scheduled an appt for my cavities to be filled the following week . I came in again with my 3 yr old and the check in lady told me I couldn't get the procedure done because I had my 3 year old with me so I asked why I wasn't told while scheduling two weeks ago or before my appt like during the reminder call . She said it wasn't her responsibility to tell me. Then I proceeded to tell her Im a single mother so I didn't have anyone to watch him and she said "well again that's not my responsibility and I'm not going to just assume you have no one to watch him". I asked for a manager because at that point I was upset I left work early and planned everything out so I could afford the procedure and I was on time. She told me she is the manager so I told her that I felt it wasn't right for her to tell me that's not her responsibility when at every other place you schedule anything wether is Desert Rad or your PCP they let you know the do's and dont's of your up coming appt . I was confused as to why she couldn't extend that to me and just let me know either during scheduling or at my appt reminder call because I had no idea he wasn't allowed until after I got there and lost 1 1/2 hrs off my work schedule and wasted the gas to drive there from Henderson. If you cared about your patients enough to help them prepare for what's coming next I wouldn't be writing this review. There should be a rating of 0 stars! They still have the lobby closed due to Covid. Showed up for my 1pm appointment at 12:56 and was told to wait outside and that closer to 1pm they would come get me. It's 110 degrees outside!!! This place is ridiculous. The bench that is outside it disgusting. Food and bird poop all over it. Terrible customer service. They could figure out a better solution. I was called in at 1:05, now I'm super sweaty and feel horrible. (I don't do well in the heat). The girls were not apologetic, sympathetic and had zero personality. This was not my first issue here. There has been other problems before. Obviously this will be the last. I will also make sure my husband, Mother and Father find another Dental Office as well. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Chen and his staff now for around 4 years roughly and I still highly recommend Regent Dental. The front office staff is so kind and I love that they really try to get to know their patients. I had dental work that has needed to get done since before everything shutdown but now find myself in a good enough financial position to take care of it all. Saw Dr. Chen yesterday as I have a root canaled tooth that the post fell out last year & I had it re-cemented in, but was told if it falls out again I'll need the rest of my tooth removed. Saw Dr. Chen 1st appt & he confirmed the tooth does need to be removed & gave options for bridge or implant. Well I cant afford either right now so I'm going to wait as it isnt in a super noticeable area anyway. But the price difference is ok nmy $900 so of I'm spending that kind of money I'll just get the implant later. Very kind staff & very informative & gentle. read more

I would NEVER return to chen if he were the last dentist on earth! I had NO Problem and NO PAINS whatsoever when i have scheduled an Exam and ROUTINE CLEANING! He was VERY ROUGH, BRUTAL and Inconsiderate while performing a So-Called cleaning! Not once did he ask me if i were comfortable or doing Okay while he was VIOLENTLY butchering my gums and teeth with the sharp cleaning instrument. I was in PAIN for about 2 Months after the cleaning and feel my caps are about to come off because he was intentionally rough with them during the exam. My experience with Dr. Kahn was difficult and unsatisfactory. My visit was for a simple reline of my partial. The dentist was not ever able to make the proper adjustments. His manner was brusque and edgy after he was unable to resolve the problem despite many return visits. He eventually altered the partial to the extent that it became unusable and I had to see another dentist to have a totally new denture made. The office staff is extremely friendly but this in no way makes up for poor care provided by the dentist. read more

I have been here two times for my yearly cleaning and check-up and I truly believe they want their patients to end up with dental disease and decay. Both times the cleanings have been superficial and quick. The "check-up" from the dentist is literally about 1-2 minutes. He doesn't care to do even a minimal job as a dentist. Insurance is charged to the hilt for their "cleanings" and x-rays. I only gave an additional star because the front desk staff appear to be nice. If anyone can refer me to a good dental office in Las Vegas please contact me. I know it is hard to find decent medical care in this town but any leads would be appreciated. To add, as others have pointed out they make you come in 2 different times for check up/cleaning. I am sure it is a way for then to double charge and make sneaky profits from insurance. I've dealt with quite a few different dental practices over the years, but this one by far was one of the absolute worst by a long shot. They attempted to force us to make multiple medically unnecessary appointments just for a simple checkup and cleaning. When we questioned this odd, extremely inconvenient, and costly practice, they became hostile, condescending, and refused to work with us. If you are going to have such weird policies (which I've never once had happen at any dental practice in my entire life, and I've been to probably a dozen different ones in my life, as I often had to get new ones when moving or insurance changed), you need to make it EXPLICITLY CLEAR on your website and in all communications with patients and potential patients. This practice seems happy to price gouge anyone and be absolutely horrible and unhelpful if you question it. I urge you to steer clear of this horrible horrible place until they change their ridiculous policy (or at least make sure to inform patients before they make an appointment) and retrain or get rid of their incredibly condescending, incompetent staff. There are plenty of other dentists in this neighborhood alone that are much much better. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. read more

My visit to Regent Dental was the most pleasant trip to the dentist I have had in 45 years. I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist. I was having major dental work started, expecting a lot of pain, as usual. I was pleasantly surprised when the pain didn't come. Even after the Novocain wore off. I have been going to this same office for years, different name, and have gone through a lot of dentists. The office manager, Norie, is who kept me going back. She is always so helpful and makes me feel like she really cares. She knows I'm very skeemish and checks in on me throughout my procedures and a follow up the next day. She was more shocked than I when I told her I wasn't in any pain. Everyone in the office is really nice. The new owner/dentist, Dr. Chen, is for lack of a better word, amazing. He didn't seem rushed at all, like most dentists, and I was there for a few hours. I can just imagine how great my new teeth are going to look as the temporary ones look perfect. I can only think that the better the dentist the less pain they cause. I've never been in this situation before and thought for the first time, I'm going to share it with you all. As I said, I have been threw many dentists and a lot of pain. I am very pleased that Dr. Chen is the owner and will be here for a long time.
