I honestly cannot thank Robert iPhone Data Recovery enough. The data on my phone wasn't just files…read more-- it included irreplaceable photos and videos of my child. When my phone stopped working, I was completely heartbroken and stressed. I took my phone to multiple places before Robert. Each place took 3-7 days just to diagnose and then told me there was nothing they could do. I was starting to accept that those memories were gone forever. Then I found Robert. From the start, he was calm, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue in less than 3 hours, explained everything clearly, and gave me real hope. Even more amazing -- he was able to recover my data within a very reasonable timeline. When I saw my kid's photos again, it was an emotional moment I won't forget. If you're dealing with data that truly matters -- family photos, memories you can't replace -- don't waste time anywhere else. Robert is a lifesaver. Professional, fast, and genuinely cares about his customers. I highly, highly recommend him.

A half cup of water spilled on the desktop and trickled down to my storage drive. Yikes it quit…read moreworking, not recognized even! I realized it was going to either take my data files to hard drive heaven or I would need to find a remedial service. I looked quite a while before I came back to Kotar and carried it on an appointment. It was a more distant place but it was worth the extra mile as eventually Robert was able to transfer everything over to a new drive. He maintained the data in the event I needed it and it turned out that was a lifesaver (long story I won't go into) but everything is 100% back to normal and I highly recommend KOTAR for his expertise and prompt work.

Above and beyond service!…read more My MacBook was hanging off a thread. I called for an estimate, and they gave me a price within the range I was looking for. I dropped off my computer and it was ready to go in one week. I could not be more satisfied with the service, and the way my laptop operated the same day I picked it up. I will be back for my future computer needs.

Saved my MacBook after an unfortunate Diet Coke spill on the keyboard…read more I was wrapping last-minute Christmas presents while watching YouTube when a roll of wrapping paper knocked over my drink. I immediately flipped the laptop over, shut it down, and left it upside down while I ran to the store for rubbing alcohol. I carefully wiped down the keyboard and called this place as soon as they reopened on the 26th. For context, Apple told me the computer would likely never work again and tried to sell me a new one. This shop was reassuring on the phone and accepted the drop-off right after the holiday break. The employee we spoke with (may have been the owner considering how competent and dedicated he was) was extremely kind at drop off. I had my computer back within 48 hours, before New Year's Eve, after a deep internal clean. They confirmed the cleaning was successful, that there was no risk of corrosion over time, and no expected shortening of the computer's lifespan. I paid under $100 and walked away with a perfectly functioning MacBook. Nearly two weeks later, there's no sign at all that anything was ever spilled. So grateful to everyone at Quick Fix!

Bait and switch scam. Advertised free diagnostic on Yelp. Brought my Samsung S23 Plus in. Phone…read morewon't power on or charge, which I already told him in Yelp. He plugged it into a charger for thirty seconds, saw it doesn't work, then said I have no idea what's going on with your phone. He's supposed to be an expert. Then he said to open the phone I need to pay a minimum of 250 dollars just to proceed. He called it free diagnostic but it's not free. If there's more damage he'll call me with additional charges. If I don't agree to pay more, I still have to pay the 250 dollar minimum cost just for opening the phone. That's not a free diagnostic. That's a scam. Don't go there. Update after the owner's reply: His reply confirms my complaint. In the store he told me to my face that he had no idea what was wrong with my phone. He never said the word motherboard. Yet in writing he now claims he diagnosed a "motherboard-related power issue." If he had actually found that, he would have said so in person. He did not, because all he did was plug my phone into a charger. By his own words, any real diagnosis requires opening the phone, and that only happens after I pay 250 dollars toward a repair. So the free diagnostic tells you nothing. You cannot find out what is wrong without paying first. That is the whole problem. He also says the visit was recorded. I was never told I was being recorded. If he truly has that recording, post it. It will show he told me he had no idea what was wrong, and that 250 dollars was required before he would even open the phone.
