We love Regio's. It is the only place in Redmond to have a good breakfast. Though it is small, it is always packed. The meals are inexpensive, good portions, and actually cooked to order. I have never had a wrong order, or had to send anything back to the kitchen. The owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and the service is top notch. My husband always talks abiut this place, so I finally got him to take me there - and it's just as good as he said it was. The family who own and run the cafe are super friendly and nice, and the food was delicious! I had the Huevos Rancheros which came with fresh guacamole and homemade tortillas. Had a very delicious breakfast here with the best omelette called spicy Mike. So flavorful with a large hearty portion. Our whole table had several other omelette that were all very tasty. Can't believe it took me this long to try this wonderful place. We've lived here over a year when we heard through friends that Regios has good food. Finally decided to try it & ordered 2 carne asada tacos... they were fabulous! They were not skimpy but had a lot of meat and great flavor. We came here after browsing for an affordable place for breakfast on yelp.com. This place was not on the top of any list, as there weren't many reviews. But it did not disappoint at all. Almost everything was about $10, but the portions were very generous, as in everything in platter-size dishes. We stepped into this small restaurant about 30 minutes after it opened on a Monday morning, and it was already about half full. The Western Omelette was the highlight at our table. A breakfast burrito with machaca, and another machaca dish was also ordered by my group. None of us had ever had machaca before and wanted to try it. I made the mistake of calling it "Muchacha," which means girl in Spanish. The server started with a quizzical look and broke into laughter. He continued with telling us a hilarious story about other restaurant guests making similar mistakes when it came to ordering in Spanish. The food was delicious, the service was on point, and the price was great. It was a bit of a hole in the wall, where the front door to the restaurant was just a regular door to someone's house.
