I talked to the ski shop workers about installing new binding on a pair of skis , the young man told me he could do that but that I should wait since I'm getting new ski boots just to make sure. I sent my wife down there as I'm out town for work . They sent her away said they couldn't do it !! I was upset. I called and left a message few minutes later there manger called me back twice. He came with a solution made point of offering to do them right now !! I got say I usually get the run around or something. I have always had a good experience with Rei so kinda surprised ,,,,,,, but then with them calling me back ask me have her come back down there . I think the manager the team whoever is running the show down there definitely deserves some recognition !!! I felt pretty damn excited that my ski trip is gonna happen on my new skis !! Yes maybe it's little things but it sure made my day !! I wanted to make a point of giving praise to my hometown Rei for going above beyond ten stars excellent thank your Rei staff !!! So much fun Welcome to Clackamas REI Outlet There's a fair amount of selections in Backpacks including baby backpacks, strollers, bassinets, Outerwear, Shoes Bicycle pumps Drink-ware Not sure if the Kayaks on sale. It's a spacious store with lots of natural light. Comes at a good time for the rest of us in the current economy.

Rei's Re / Supply is in the same mall but in separate location from the main store

To be clear up front, this review is for the REI Re / Supply outlet at Clackamas Town Center, which is a separate physical store than the main building further east in the same mall. Re/Supply is where REI sells used outdoor gear, both their own as well as other brands. They take trade-ins of used gear as well (though they are kinda picky about what they take). In any case, I had awesome service from the team in every regard; I've traded apparel to them (you get a gift card for the value to spend in the store), I've shopped there and I've purchased gear there as well, and everyone from the front desk to the trade in guy, to the online customer service folks were absolutely outstanding. The store space is fairly big in a Nordstrom Rack kind of way, but the labeling of departments can be hit or miss, so take heart. They sell everything from skis to hiking boots to tents, sleeping bags, camping gear and men's and women's jackets so be sure to poke around -- you never know what you'll find. The selection is hugely varied and a bit scattershot, which I guess is to be expected, and prices are higher than you'd think you should pay for stuff that can sometimes be pretty trashed. Then again, I found an almost new pair of Oboz hiking shoes for only $50 --- but that was probably dumb luck, and your results may vary. Some good deals to be had if you are really committed, but no guarantees. If nothing else, an interesting spot to kill a few hours.

Well now, let me tell you about Dick's Sporting Goods because this place ain't just a store, it's a…read morefull-blown sporting goods revival tent. You walk into Clackamas Town Center and there it is... shining like a beacon for folks who like their gear fresh, their brands loud, and their hobbies expensive. Shoes? Lord have mercy. They've got enough to outfit a small army of marathon runners, golfers, and folks who just wanna look athletic while ordering takeout. You want Nike? They got it. You want those hard-to-find Crocs in that oddly specific color you saw online at 2 a.m.? Boom right there on the shelf like they've been waiting on you personally. Now here's the thing about ordering online you click, you wait, you pray it fits. Here? You just walk in, try it on, and walk out feelin' like you made a good life decision for once. No three-week shipping, no "sorry, sold out," no heartbreak. Just instant gratification, the way the good Lord and credit cards intended. And don't even get me started on the gear. Golf clubs lined up like they're ready to testify, YETI bottles for every hydration personality type, kayaks, bikes, floaties if it gets you outside or at least makes you look like you go outside, they've got it. This ain't bargain-bin stuff either. This is the high-end, "I probably don't need it but I'm buying it anyway" kind of place. Now here's where it gets funny the Oregon Ducks section. I swear to you, they've got better Ducks gear here than some actual Ducks stores. I'm not saying that's right... I'm just saying it's true. Brought my daughter in here once, got her some fresh Nikes, and she strutted back to her small town like she just signed an endorsement deal. That's the kind of confidence this place sells and it ain't even on clearance. So yeah, if you're anywhere near this mall and you like name brands, sports, or just enjoy walking around a store thinking, "Yeah... I could be that person," then step on into Dick's. It's classy, it's stacked, and it's just about the closest thing to a sports lover's heaven you're gonna find without breaking a sweat.

The selection here is fantastic, with everything from jackets and hiking shoes to thermal gear and hats, all at factory outlet prices. I've found deals that beat most online discounts, especially during seasonal sales. The staff deserves a shoutout. They're genuinely helpful, not pushy, and always willing to check stock or help you find the right size. You can tell they actually use the products and know what they're talking about. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate -- no digging through messy racks like some outlets. The checkout process is quick, and the team keeps the line moving even when it gets busy. Pro tip: Sign up for the Columbia Rewards program. I've scored some extra savings and early access to sales that make it worth it. Overall, this is one of the best outlet shopping experiences in the Portland area. Whether you're gearing up for a hike or just looking for a solid rain jacket (we are in the PNW), Columbia has you covered -- literally! LMAO

This Columbia Outlet store had so many great deals, it was overwhelming…read more I stopped by here yesterday afternoon because I'm in the market for some new winter outerwear. I was specifically hoping to find boots and/or a jacket. On top of having an entire floor full of clearance jackets, they also had about a dozen racks under tents outside of the store. It seemed like they probably had every Columbia jacket that had been made within the past few years. There was also a ton of Mountain Hardware and Sorel. The Mountain Hardware jackets were about 25-50% off, which was still significantly cheaper than REI or anywhere else that I know of. I ended up feeling so overwhelmed by the jacket selection that I decided I needed to do some research, and come back. I ended up leaving with two pairs of snow boots: 1 Columbia, and 1 Sorel. I got both pairs for $55, including tax and a very small roundup for the National Park fund. I've been looking for boots for a couple of weeks, and the cheapest I've found comparable boots anywhere else was anywhere from $69-129. So, I was beyond stoked to find two pairs I liked in the clearance section. They were also having a store wide BOGO half-off sale, which is how the total ended up so low. I didn't have, and have actually never had any of the issues with outlet stores that other people brought up in their reviews. I used to work at the outlets in Folsom. Most of the merchandise isn't damaged or defective-- it's just overstock or barely out of season. The boots that I purchased are honestly of similar quality to brand new boots from DSW. I just got really lucky (and have a seventh sense for when things will be on sale due to all my years of working in retail). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and I would definitely shop here again.
