Only coming here because I have medi-cal/denti-cal and very few good and reliable dentists are covered. This dentist is VERY unprofessional. When I called to make my initial appointment the dentist was going off about how none of his employees want to work and would rather sit at home and collect unemployment so I shouldn't be surprised if he is late to the office. Additionally they take hella personal calls and lallygag and keep you waiting. My appointment was at 12:00pm and it's now 12:17pm as I write this review. This is my third visit here and I've been made to wait more each time. I came and got a cleaning here and X-rays first time. The X-rays were the worst and most uncomfortable I've ever had and the dental assistant had to redo a bunch of them, and the mouth pieces they put in my mouth didn't fit which I've never experienced. The cleaning was poorly done and painful, he picked at my gums and they bled. And he was pushing me to get braces and said he has a very honest orthodontist friend and only works with honest people. Second visit had to get my fillings replaced and it was a painful experience as well. He filed down one of my teeth so there is a big gap between them and hella food gets stuck in them now. Also answered a personal call and was having an argument with someone while working in my mouth literally. I had sensitivity and pain in the other tooth he worked on and now I'm here to get that filling adjusted and I made it clear I had work at a certain time when I scheduled my appointment and would have to be done by 12:45, and they now 12:23 and I just sat down and have still not been seen by the dentist. I've waited several weeks to post this review to see if my tooth would stop being sensitive and hurting when I eat practically anything and it has not. I'm in a considerable amount of discomfort every time I eat and can't really chew with the right side of my mouth because of it. He said to GIVE IT A MONTH to feel better otherwise he'll have to do a root canal and I've never had one and obviously don't want to get one and I am definitely not coming back here. I should have trusted my gut when I called to schedule the initial appointment. I've never had such a horrible experience with any dentist. Please avoid this place if you would like to maintain the integrity of your teeth. read more

Dr. Reihani has been my dentist for many years. He and his entire staff are extremely friendly, professional and just rally great. The clinic and very and modern. Recently I had a root canal done. First it was denied by MediCal but Dr. Reihani and his team put in the extra effort to get it authorized since I desparately needed it. I was very anxious and nervous about the procedure. I still can't believe the incredible good work Dr. Reihani did. Not only did he calm my nerves but he did a perfect work on removing the root. Because of Dr. Kurosh's disregard for his patients I'm going to lose a tooth. I went in as a new patient about six weeks ago for a check up. I admit it had been awhile since I had one. I complained about a tooth that had been bothering me for awhile. He did x-rays and check up and said he saw nothing. He said my teeth were in good condition and may need a little bit of a deep cleaning which he would send into my insurance for approval. I told him that there's definitely something wrong with the tooth, and I suspect it's cracked, because I feel pain whenever I bite down on it. He said the equipment he has cannot detect a crack and I would have to go to another place, and he would send me the info of where to go, and his assistant would get back to me with the information. A few weeks passed and no one called me. I called and inquired, reminding them again that I need the info to the place. The woman who answered the phone said that she would check back with the doctor and get back to me that day. They never did and I waited a week and called them again, at which point I decided it was time to see a new dentist. Over that weekend, I bit down on something and had an excruciating pain. I suspect that I had a crack but what I bit down on made the situation even worse. I then went to another, more competent dentist, who clearly cares more about their patients. Just as I suspected, my tooth is cracked and it's gotten worse. Had I gotten that x-ray sooner and had the tooth treated I could possibly have saved the tooth. But having bitten down on it the last few days made the tooth worse. Now I'm likely going to lose it. Admittedly I could have been more aggressive in getting the information and getting myself to a dentist sooner. But like most people I hate the dentist and I procrastinate whenever I have to go. But if I know I have a serious, time sensitive problem, I take care of it immediately. In addition to all that, when I went in to see Dr. Kurosh for my checkup, it was haphazard at best. The laziest, shortest, teeth cleaning I have ever. Hand donr the worst checkup I have ever had in my life! In addition, the woman at the front desk, seems half asleep and disinterested in her job. Her being the same one who claims she's going to pass my messages to dentist and have him get back to me. At least all this was my observation. Oh, and btw, they never got back to me about the approval for a deep cleaning which should have taken a little less than two weeks to get. I'm a very effective communicator, yet I had extreme difficulty communicating with them on several occasions, when asking a simple question. Rather than giving me a complete answer, all they kept saying is yes, yes, yes. Which made no sense. read more

First of all let me commence by saying that i called this office yesterday and was able to get an appointment within 2 days with great flexibility to my schedule. Upon arrival (8am) i was greeted by his staff who was nothing short of curteous and polite to me. Side note: They had a great selection of empowering literature in the lobby. She did the xrays and immediately knew what needed to be done. I had 2 deep cavities (almost to the nerve) and build up on my teeth with 2 teeth extractions needed (wisdom teeth) within 35 minutes i had clean teeth and he eradicated the cavity issue. Finally a dentist that I can trust with a very awesome staff. Dr. Reihani was very helpful in fixing my dental woes. He explained to me what needed to be done and made sure that I got the procedures done even after my insurance denied one of my claims. I would say that if you need a trustworthy dentist, this is where you go. Dr. Reihani himself is the one who takes care of you. It can't get better than that. When I asked him about other teeth that were kind of bothering me, he said that they are not necessarily all that bad right now and it's all cosmetics... I like that. The most horrible dentist I have ever been to. Drilled through what I found later to be 12! Twelve healthy teeth and caused a root canal on one of the teeth. He was quite brutal with the wisdom teeth extraction and was quite impatient. Because of his negligence I have, most of my teeth have the unnecessary work on them that ruined some of them and made others very sensitive and weak. He was insisting that there were 14 cavities in my teeth. Beware. He never takes responsibility for anything that he did wrong and moreover, tries to threaten you with his lawyers if you try to demand answers. His staff is also rude and aggressive. read more
