Super friendly staff who actually made legitimate recommendations! Rib-eye on toast special was very good. The Ruben had an excellent flavor though a lot of liquid in the sauerkraut. Blueberry pie was one of the best I have ever had and I am not a blueberry fan. My wife insisted I would like it and I did! Overall as a local diner it was excellent. Decent food. Haven't been a stickler about the speed there, as I rarely am on a set schedule when I stop in. I think that for the most part, locals appreciate this business, as there isn't much to choose from for breakfast, if not lunch, there is town. The location is great -- just off I-81 ..... but I think you just have to know it's there. I think, though, that if they are going to have a Facebook page, which they do and post the daily specials to, then they ought to be responsive to messages sent them. It's a nice atmosphere waitresses are always quick to take your order. Absolutely love their deluxe burger and their spaghetti and meatball all you can eat on Wednesday nights. The prices are great and everyone is always friendly. They have an amazing farmers omelette too! Can't say enough about this place! read more

Reilly's is where the localsgo, so that's where you should go! It may not look much from the outside, and to be honest I almost drove by but I'm glad I stopped in. This is good old country breakfast and lunch joint as good as it gets. The service was extremely fast! We had six orders and they were out in less than 10 minutes. The size portions were very large: the pancakes and the omelette we had were bigger than what you might get in a big city diner. The quality was pretty typical of a diner; a little bit greasy but not overly so. The price was great. You just can't beat smalltown cafés and diners like this. We took a chance with a small hometown café for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise! The people are so nice and the food was even better!

The portions are nicely sized and the food is great. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed which is nice. I got the baked lasagna and it was tasty. Definitely recommend it and the mozzarella sticks. The waitress was very kind too. I never had lemon meringue pie until I came here and I enjoyed it a lot. Would eat here again if I come to the area. read more

Where in the world is Marathon NY? Well where else can you get a BLT for $3.50! The three of us ate lunch for $17.95 and we were satiated and happy when we were done. Okay not fine cuisine but it was fresh, hot and plentiful and the service was genuine old-time folksy. If you're ever on the thruway heading towards or away from Niagara Falls or Toronto, Canada make this a pit stop - you'll be glad you did. When we were there I think everyone in the town was there too -- it was as if we had been transformed by a time machine and we were back in the 1940's (not that I can remember those days!) I read reviews prior to visiting and am disappointed no one warned me: Got the "Irish Delight" breakfast as, well, this is an Irish place and boy was it bad!! The corned beef hash had a very strong smell before it even hit the table. Looked and smelled like dog food and the taste was just as bad. I expected much more from the reviews I read. This was not quality food! I would NOT recommend this restaurant. The waitress was pleasant but the place was very dirty!!! read more

We came to this place based on its yelp review, and despite the fact that it was a 4.5 yelp review, we were really surprised at how good this place was. I should've trusted the reviews! Service was fantastic, they never let our drinks get low. Food was delicious hot and surprisingly different. For instance, I ordered the spicy fried pickles. I expected something similar to what I've gotten at Texas roadhouse in the past: sliced pickles fried and batter. These were actually whole mini gherkins deep-fried and an amazing batter served with a really nice ranch sauce. We were all pleased at how delicious they were and ate the whole basket quickly. I had a fried fish sandwich with fresh haddock. It was crispy and hot and absolutely Fantastic. If I had a small disappointment, it is that the tartar sauce was not homemade, but just craft from a re-sealed mini tub. The potato skins were delicious crispy on the outside soft and cheesy bacon on the inside. The clam chowder was some of the best I've ever had Dash brimming with clams in a really delicious broth that had a little something that I haven't had before, I'm not sure what it was, perhaps tarragon? Something a teeny bit lemony in The background.Iced tea was fresh brewed, and wonder of wonders, it was not over brewed. The atmosphere was typical diner/pub with sports memorabilia from the owner on the wall. Definitely had a small town feel, and we really enjoyed it. I'd come back here any day. read more

I go to Reilly's quite often, usually for breakfast. Some of the waitstaff are very nice and a pleasure to talk to; however, on one Sunday I was there with my family and the waitress was obnoxious, rude and when I asked for something she replied your lucky if you get it, in a nasty tone (I believe it was water, what was asked). I avoid Sunday breakfast because of this purple haired woman (yes purple). The food is hit or miss, I give food 3 out of 5 stars, most times extremely greasy, I need several napkins to clean my plate. The decor needs updating, makes the place look dirty, too much stuff. Dinners are not bad, I don't really have a complaint here, the Friday Fish Day is fabulous. I have young nieces and nephews, I wish they had a children's menu. I would recommend this place, but wish they'd make a few changes. Thank you read more
