A look at the bar service area
    George W.

We dropped in for after arcade gaming drinks. For games, they have pool and foosball. Not exactly what I was looking for, but hey, they are games. The bar is nice, dark wood. The event tonight was trivia, and we rolled in just in time to see several teams achieve victory. I had one of their Raspberry Regatta specialty drink (kind of fru fru, but it tasted good), and my wife had a Jameson's on the rocks. Bar service was cordial and prompt. The drinks were good, and there is a back way to get back into the Graduate Hotel we were staying at. All in all, a good time.

Fix the hours on the door! Here now, walked a distance and not open! Not in line with Graduate standards.

My, what a big establishment you have! This place, off the lobby of The Graduate hotel, is huge. Upon walking in, we walked for a while until we found the bar. It's much easier from the front entrance off the street than the hotel lobby. Drinks were pricey from what I could tell as 4 draft beers (Modelo and one other normal beer) was like $35, and they weren't tall boys. I had offered to buy the first round and we ended up only having one round. There were 2 Virtual "Bays" which had Golf Simulators, but they also had volleyball, football, soccer, baseball, hockey, and zombie dodge ball (which was difficult AF). We had fun for a bit while drinking our beers after a company dinner. It was also trivia night, which looked to have 2 people playing out of the 3 other people in the bar on a Wednesday evening in January. I'm not sure if it gets busier on other nights, but it was kinda dead on this one. I'd probably go back again if I stayed at The Graduate, but not sure if it's the right place to go, although I don't really know what else

Reiners Bar and Game Room blends old-school charm with an immersive sports-inspired dining experience. It is the restaurant at the bottom of the Graduate Hotel in downtown Providence. You can come in for a drink, have some elevated pub food or catch a game on TV with friends. You can tee off in one of their Topgolf® Swing Suites® or play some pool or foosball. The ambiance is really relaxed since the large windows overlooking downtown make it very cozy and warm. We had some drinks at the bar and the bartender was really nice and friendly. Very nice place to hang out before or after the theater, or any other event going on in the city.

My husband said I were staying at the Graduate hotel and decided to try out reiners as it's apart of the hotel. We were sat right away and our server came right over. He introduced himself as Bear or that's what we thought he said (our bill said David) but he made us feel like we've known him forever. To me that is the true mark of a great server. We ordered the chips and dip as well as the truffle tots to start. They were both amazing! We followed up with steak tips with green beans and fingerling potatoes. Again fantastic! Between the food and service this was truly a perfect end to our day! Also I'd like to mention again Bear/David and his excellent service!

We had some drinks and snacks which was good. The wings are standard but the cider was delicious! Regular service and when we were there not too many people so not that loud. I did enjoy the ambiance.

Pretty decent food and a good selection. My burger was great but my husband's salad was just okay. Looks like there are a lot of fun things to do here (some free, some $$). Might be a fun place if you have some time to spare.

Not the kind of place I really want to sit in and enjoy a cocktail. Dungeon like. The music is loud hip hop, not something I mind, but worth noting if thats not for you. I sat at the bar, and honestly didn't feel like it was super clean. I don't think the counter had been wiped down for a while. Staff were doing their best but seemed overwhelmed on a Saturday night. I was watching them make the cocktails and did not feel like it was very sanitary. They've got one small sink they're rinsing everything in, they were chucking stuff, literally chucking and slamming metal. They were dumping out people's drinks into the same side of the sink and then rinsing in the other side. But stuff was splashing into what should be the clean side. It's not a good setup for a cocktail bar. The cocktail menu had 8 drinks on it, 2 they were out of. Nothing had whiskey in it. I got a drink called Darjeeling something. Really didn't like it, didn't taste balanced and it looked different than someone else's who ordered the same thing, not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient. The bartender also wasn't tasting the drinks which I usually see to ensure it was made correctly. This one had curry in it as a listed ingredient and it was just way too strong a flavor. It was a rum drink with some mezcal but it just tastes like mezcal and curry powder. The place was pretty busy but people were coming and going frequently. There's only one bathroom which really isn't enough for a bar. Seems like there's potential here but I didn't like the menu offerings and the sanitary concerns leave me with no desire to come back here.

Our server was attentive and gave us great suggestions. I tried four cocktails some from their new menu and some of their past drinks, they were all great. THE FOOD -We ordered the dip trio, each of them was delicious, my favorite was the lemon hummus. -the ratio of chips to dip was not good and when we asked for more chips it was a $5 charge we weren't told about. Since it took a bit to get the second round of chips we had to leave most of them and the dip to get to our show on time which was a bummer. THE DRINKS -delicious!!! Great, accurate descriptions -I tried the parsley one and it was so refreshing and perfectly herby. I've told everyone about it! -I also tried the apple anise which is accurately a mix of both apple and anise flavors! I forgot I don't like anise much so it wasn't my favorite but again still accurate and well made. THE SERVICE -very kind server! From the moment we arrived, the customer service stood out: we were greeted at the door, again when we entered, and once more when we sat down. Truly exceptional hospitality. Sitting there gave us the chance to chat with the bartender, who shared the story behind their concept and how they create their drink recipes. My wife ordered a #11 and absolutely loved it. I ordered a #1, which is non-alcoholic. I don't drink and rarely order mocktails, but this one blew me away--crafted with as much care and creativity as their other cocktails. The space is small, seating about 25 people, but don't let that fool you. The intimate size only adds to the incredible atmosphere.
