After having an absolutely amazing vampire facial with Tami at Rejuvenate two years ago, I decided to go back for a little pick-me-up last week! Scheduling... I made my appointment about a month in advance, for a Monday at 9 AM. The week before my appointment , I got a phone call, asking me to reschedule from Monday to Tuesday at 9 AM. Then, the day before that new appointment, I received a text message asking me to reschedule once again! I asked what was available, and I received a text back saying that I could come in the following Monday at 9 AM. When I arrived at 9 AM the following Monday, I was told that I did not have an appointment for that day. Apparently my previous appointment was canceled without the receptionist actually rescheduling my new appointment. After waiting for 30 minutes in my car, because I was not permitted to wait inside, I got to come in for my appointment. Treatment... The first thing that Tami had done before starting my treatment two years ago, was ask me what my areas of concern were on my face. I told her that I was concerned most with my forehead, which had sun-damage, and my smile lines. She thoroughly treated my entire face but focused heavily on my forehead and smile lines, which I appreciated! During my treatment last week, I was never asked that question, so Stephanie started without any input from me. I assumed that she would treat my entire face equally, but she instead focused heavily on my cheeks, and spent very little time on my forehead. I kept thinking that she would go back and treat my forehead more before finishing the facial, but she never did. My cheeks are looking great after treatment, but my forehead not so much. Up sell... After the treatment was finished, Stephanie asked me what I had at home to help my skin recover. I had not been informed prior to my visit that I needed to purchase anything ahead of time, so my response was that I had nothing at home. She then recommended that I purchase a $150 cream that would help my skin recover. During my visit two years ago, Tami sent me home with two tubes of SkinFuse healing ointment free of charge, and I had expected the same for this visit. Instead, I felt pressured into purchasing the cream Stephanie recommended. After being very disappointed with my visit to Rejuvenate last week, I feel like this second visit was my last. read more

Last summer a month before my daughters wedding I bought a Groupon for another "med Spa" in Mueller because it was close to me. Huge huge mistake, apparently a chiropractor in Austin is allowed to have someone who thinks they can inject, as long as you talk to a nurse via a video chat. I walked out with I'm not kidding two black eyes. I should have known when the owner was frantically putting make up on me. I really don't wear makeup. Then Sweet Dr. Wright, yes she is a medical doctor, moved her office to downtown. I will never ever never ever go anywhere else. Dana did a lippy cheeky injectable service on me. Zero pain or bruising the next day. Please do not go to a place that has no clue what they are doing. I have been going to here since I moved to Austin and never walked out, or even a day later, looked like I was in a boxing ring. Well done ladies! read more

I had my first coolsculpting session yesterday. For some background on my weight gain: I rapidly gained weight of over 30 pounds from taking prescribed medication. And then with me sitting in front a computer all day during quarantine, I just kept on inflating in size. This is the biggest I've ever been in my life. I was paired with Stephanie for my first coolsculpting consultation and procedure. We were able to do a consultation and the procedure within a 2 day period. During the procedure, we did a total of 6 applications on the lower stomach area. The procedure for 6 applications took about 4 hours. Stephanie was very attentive and she made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. The photos included with this review are from day 1 after the coolsculpting procedure. There is some bruising and tenderness in the area, but this is expected. Results may take several weeks to 6 months to show up. Other thing about today, your "nurse" or actually a nurse, she didn't formally introduce herself in the beginning, I had to ask who she is and what she is. I did not get a friendly vibe. Anyhow. As soon I walked in the room, she immediately gave me a chin band. I put it back on the countertop. I was not ready for the procedure yet, I had questions. Like I said in email, I wanted consultation on why they persisted me getting secret RF. I know what I wanted but was open to hear the options. So why not giving me a chance to sit down and have a consultation about the options. I had to stop her and kept asking questions. So that was pushy. That when it started went wrong. What I wanted for today was not available. They knew I drove down from Round Rock. They were determined with their decisions without seeing me and discussing. It was reasonable for me to be disappointed. Now, you seemed upset that I wrote a review here. Before writing here, you had an hour to follow up with me after I left your office. I got nothing from you. Then I wrote an email and asked for a manager. I still got nothing from you. When I yelped you, you immediately texted me. It said a lot about you and your poor support service. It was OK for customers to be disappointed, frustrated and upset. Your staff need to learn to minimize the issues, and change the tunes by suggesting something else that they should work on my leg instead. I wanted treatments my thighs too as I mentioned in the email. You as an owner, you should know this too, don't escalate the problems, for instance in the text you said "bad behavior" and "I no longer able to book at Rejuvenate Austin." You should have response with compassion and response sooner and or at least talk with me and understand why I'm frustrating and disappointed. My business with you was not hundreds dollars. It was not a couple thousands. It was much more! And I was planning to spend $$$$. You should not treat regular/loyal customers like this. Not at all. I just read the old bad reviews about your business/ your practice, it look like the same problems with other clients by not giving appropriate support services. I have been in your office for three years, and your office has a lot of turnover staff. It's no bueno. I'm glad for this unpleasant experience, I found somewhere MORE affordable and much closer to me. I got my lips done with Lauren and it was such a great experience!! The front desk staff was so sweet and welcoming the moment I walked in! Once I got into the room, not only did Lauren help explain the benefits of each filler/laid out the cost, but she helped me with shape, size, and placement that was personal to me and my lips! Dr. Wright is absolutely the best not only is she knowledgeable but she's realistic and to boot beautiful and the flaws that I see in my face with aging she isn't trying to take those away but just improve them some. She always makes me feel like she doesn't see all the flaws as easily as I do and she won't overdo the help which I love about her. Im so grateful that she's classy sassy fun to visit - even if she sticks needles in my face that make me want to fight . I love the office staff too. - I like how helpful they are and they were able to teach me a little bit about the new financing program CHERRY as well! Beginning with the positives: I was a walk-in with no appointment at 11:45 a.m. on a Tuesday. The staff was courteous and professional and they told me they could fit me in at noon. Beth Nalewaik was my technician and she came into the room at about 12:20. I didn't mind the wait too much as I didn't have an appointment and expected a delay. I signed up with Rejuvenate and got a text message "gift card" for $100 towards my injectables which was valid for purchases of thirty units or more. I explained to Ms. Nalewaik what I wanted - to immobilize the area between my brows and to eliminate the muscular movement over each eyebrow, where there are the most prominent lines. She told me she would "freeze" the area over the bridge of my nose with twenty units but that, as I am an "expressive person" (her words) she would "sprinkle" eight units over the brow area. It did not escape my attention that she was proposing a total of twenty-eight units, thus rendering the gift card unusable. Now, this is where I should have spoken up and said something about using two more units so that I could use the discount. I didn't. That's on me. Today is Monday, a week after my injections, and as a woman who has had more Botox than I'd like to admit, it pains me to say that this is one of the worst Botox jobs I've gotten. She didn't "freeze" the area between my brows; I'd say it's about 75% immobilized. What bothers me more is that she chemically relaxed the muscles over the inside of my brows; the muscles over the outer half of my brows are still very much mobile. In fact, the lines over my brows are even worse than they were before, perhaps because half the musculature is doing twice the work, and it's not a good look: The outer halves of my brows waggling up and down while the inner halves are totally still. I am going to have to go somewhere else to fix Ms. Nalewaik's poor work. That's disappointing, as I live in a very rural area and making such an appointment means quite a drive. One more detail: When I was checking out, the iPad presented me with the option to tip. I have *never* before been asked to tip for a Botox injection and it took me aback. Now, I could have declined to tip and I didn't: I reflexively pushed the "15%" button. I used to be young and poor and in the service industry and I am generous with my gratuities. And of course, I appreciated the last-minute service and at the time I had no way to know that the work Ms. Nalewaik had performed was substandard. I shouldn't have tipped but in my opinion, setting up the system to prompt for a tip on a service like Botox is just plain tacky. While I did not receive the $100 gift card due to my failure to insist on another two units of Botox, I was offered the "first time client" rate of $10 per unit (versus $13) of Botox. Regardless, I did not get the results I wanted, I don't admire the business practices of offering a discount and then deliberately underselling, and tipping on a Botox injection is silly. I'm left having to spend more money and make a long drive to find someone else to fix a botched job. I won't be back. read more

I've been on the hunt for a good Med Spa for awhile now. I finally decided to give Rejuvenate Austin a try after I saw their Groupon for 40 units of botox. So far so good! Getting scheduled was really easy. I called and got an appointment for a couple days later. I filled everything out online ahead of time, so there was no paper involved when I arrived. The space was pleasant and so was the front staff. They offered me champagne and was delighted to receive such a healthy pour. I drank it happily while waiting for Dr. Wright. She was thorough in asking me what I wanted done. And the procedure was easy enough. Some botox injections I've had were pretty painful, but not with Dr Wright. She expertly administered the injections with very little discomfort. My other concern was that I am trying to take better care of my skin. I walked out with some delightful Zo and Elta MD products. They weren't cheap in the least, but I can already feel a difference in hydration after just one day! Totally worth it. All in all, I am very pleased. I am looking forward to going back for more botox over time and maybe start incorporating some facials into my regimen. read more

She was patient answering all my many questions and very honest about what would work best for me/what to expect. Dana Kirk did my kybella series and was so fantastic. I was super nervous but she was so gentle with the injections and talked me through the entire process. I am so happy with my results from kybella! It has seriously increased my confidence! My experience was terrible. I booked a consultation where I filled out the necessary paperwork and talked with one of the doctors about what would be best for my skin. Then booked my appointment thinking it would be with her. I was very excited for my microneedling facial only to get my face numbed for 30 minutes and then to be told(by a different doctor) that I cannot receive a service because I had finished accutane only 4 months ago while it's better to wait a full 6 months. If I had been told at the consultation or even just before the numbing cream was put on, that would be fine. But I had to leave the office with a completely numb face for no reason. Major waste of time. I sepcifically booked a consultation to avoid the hassle of booking the wrong service or frustrations like this. The doctor offered to honor the summer discount for an appointment two months from now, but the other doctor during my consultation, had offered to honor the discount for my next 3-4 services depending on how many it takes to get my skin to be smooth. Which was an appealing deal but it doesn't seem like that would be honored. Disappointed. I think I have been very patiently waiting for them to follow up with me. But nobody called, so here is my review. After spending some time on researching for a best place for Botox in Austin, I have stopped my choice on this one. I went for my first Botox at 33 and lip injection a month ago. They seemed very nice friendly ladies. After quick consultation the appointment was made, they were nice enough to squeeze me in their busy schedule. At the consultation Dr. Wright. told me that I would need 20 units of Botox for my forehead, 10 between my eye brows and 10 on my forehead. Plus a half of the syringe of juviderm ultra into my lips. The procedure was pretty painless. But the Dr Wright has changed the the dosage and did 16 units of Botox between my eye brows and 8 units into my forehead, which left me a little confused and concerned. My lips were swollen next day and in couple days I couldn't even tell if anything was done on my lips. But that's fine, I wanted it to be very natural. The area between my eyes was totally frozen next morning, but my forehead (the main reason I did Botox) didn't change at all. Dr. warned me at would take a week or so to see the results on my forehead. So I waited a week and not seeing any changes called to them to ask if it's ok, because I was leaving Taxes for a while, and will not be able to visit them after I leave. They said I have to wait two weeks at least to the full affect and told me not to come for follow up. After two weeks my forehead was still the same in the middle, except the area where the needle went on both sides. So my 11 area is totally frozen for nothing (I have never had wrinkles there) and my forehead wrinkles are still there. I called them to ask for an advice how to fix it now, but nobody called me back. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I know everyone is different and have different skin but I do feel the dosage of Botox was wrong. Also their Yelp ad says they offer military discount, but the receptionist said they don't. So many good reviews here but almost no pictures of clients... should have been a red flag for me, wasted money:( Update 5 month later . All wrinkles were back within less 2 month. Got a couple procedures done -- facials, cool sculpting, and some lip. Two stars because of nice facilities and friendly staff. I have to say, though, please do not get cool sculpting. Some time off work for appointments, several thousand dollars, and several months later and the result is nothing. There is really no noticeable change, just a slight hollowing (if you look close enough). I wish they could have told me what to reasonably expect, as a lot of time, money and effort goes into this. If you're going to drop several thousand dollars on something, you'd at least like to see a change/improvement. In this instance, I would advise to NOT GET COOL SCULPTING and put the money towards plastic surgery instead, because it is not that much more expensive and it actually does work. read more

I went to Rejuvenate Austin because of the great reviews on Yelp. I've always been unhappy with my nose and was interested in liquid rhinoplasty. Dr. Wright was so welcoming and kind during my consultation. She could see which area of my nose I was unhappy with and assured me it would be an easy fix, and it was! I had a small amount of filler remaining, so Dr. Wright advised we add it to my top lip, and I'm very happy with results.
