I love their products. The body scrubs are the best, their soap wonderful, and their neck-wraps heavenly.

The specialists here really try to provide you with the best experience possible. They have a variety of people to choose from, and if you don't know who you'd like, they will have recommendations. I highly suggest that when you call into the hot line to ask the customer care to directly transfer you to the store. The staff members at the store is very professional and courteous to meet your needs with empathy and compassion. Time after time, I cannot tell you how much the staff personally takes an interest in my well-being from the moment I walk through those doors, especially the assistant manager (Miranda) and her team. My go to masseuses is Christian. Christian is trained in a variety of pressure and really pays attention to the reaction of your body. Christian's personality is so bubbly that it just makes you feel welcome every time he greets me. Janelle is fantastic with facials, too. She studied as a beautician and checks in on you every step to make sure none of the beauty products being used irritates your skin or you. She's also gentle with your needs and pays attention to the sensitivity of your skin, looking for any reaction if there is any. It's been a great pleasure being their customer, and I look forward to my next booking with them.

The membership discount is such a great perk and makes it easy to come back regularly. I usually go either by myself for some much needed self care or with a friend, and we book the couples massage. I love that we get a few minutes to chat before and after. The location is perfect too. It is so easy to plan a massage and then grab food nearby to extend the experience. Linda and Judy are my absolute favorites. They are both incredibly skilled, attentive, and consistent. I always leave feeling relaxed and reset. Unfortunately I have to update my review to reflect my past few visits. I asked for Gina this time…read morebased on other reviews that said she focused well on their problem areas. This was sadly not my experience... I'm not sure what the little paper given at the beginning is supposed to be for, because most of the masseuses seem to treat the areas circled as "don't touch" rather than "focus on." This has happened to me multiple times at My Beauty Spa, where the areas I've asked for have remained untouched (especially the hands. I work with my hands and desperately need hand massage). The only masseuses so far who have given me a good massage here are Anna (no longer listed as an employee) and Linda or Judy (one did my massage and one did my partner's, I cannot remember which). I've now had poor experiences with 3 other masseuses here. I've attached an image -- circled in green are the areas I asked for focus, and circled in orange are the areas I was massaged. I got a 90 minute massage today and of the 90 minutes, about 1-2 minutes total was spent on my hands, less than 10 minutes on my neck/jaw/traps, and the area of glutes I circles was just glided over. I instead got about 30 minutes straight of shoulder blade scraping with elbow, 10 mins per side scraping my outer thighs, 25 mins on calves and feet. About 90% of the massage was done with elbows and knuckles, hardly any finger pressure was done -- I understand this technique is used to avoid hand strain, but it should not be so imbalanced. I can take very deep pressure and this massage hurt me, because she was using bone over bone. You should not use the elbow and forearm bone, or knuckles, to massage over bones and joints. Bone on bone is painful. She also randomly turned on the light and left the room without saying anything, I assume to gather some supplies, but it would be courteous to mention. I left my massage in more pain than when I came in. When I told the receptionist at checkout and showed her what was actually massaged on the map, no resolution was offered. She just turned the checkout screen with the $115 total toward me, and said next time I can just tell them at the front desk again to make sure the masseuse does the circled areas. Isn't that what I already did though? Why did I even fill out the paper at all if you are not giving it to the masseuse to focus on the areas circled? I never saw my paper hung on the door of my room or sitting in the room at all before or after the massage, though other rooms did have papers hung on the door mine did not. I paid in cash as well -- the cash discount was not honored, and no concession was offered for my pain upon leaving or for the complete lack of focus on my problem areas. I'm in a lot of pain now and even more tense than before in the problem areas, and extremely stressed out. I needed this massage desperately due to stress, chronic pain, and burnout. Now I have to wait for what they've done to heal and pay again for someone else to fix me, as I'm so incredibly tense. Whatever she did on my shoulder blades made the pain in my neck and trapezius much worse. I'm really sad and disappointed. I just paid $125 with tip (normally I'd tip more if it was well done) to get worse, essentially. I'm sitting here rubbing my sore neck and shoulders in my car and crying from the stress. This isn't even considering a previous time I came in for massage and the masseuse (Fion) was literally on her phone the first 15 minutes and barely massaging me with one hand. That time, I just walked out because it was so ridiculous. Unfortunately I don't find My Beauty Spa a reliable place for massage anymore which is sad because when Anna was there I would come every other week.

Yes, the space is beautiful and the staff was cordial, but the massage itself was terrible. I had been looking forward to this massage for days and from the beginning something felt off. They require you to pay before the massage and now I know why! This was hands down the worst massage I've ever had, and I've had many over the years. The masseuse had me undress, covered me with a sheet, and then proceeded to use their elbows to rub my body. They do not use their hands or oils to massage you. For the first 15 minutes, they were grinding their elbow into my spine, it was painful. I asked them to stop and ended the 60-minute massage early, something I've never done before. Due to a language barrier, I went to the front desk to explain the situation. Instead of handling it privately, she awkwardly brought the masseuse out and asked me to explain my complaint to them, which put me in an uncomfortable position. It felt intentional, as if to discourage me from pushing the issue. To make matters worse, I was handed what I initially thought was a voucher for another massage. When I asked for clarification, I was told it was actually just a $5 off coupon. This was insulting given the circumstances. I was not offered a refund of my $75, and more importantly my time was wasted. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

You can hear the receptionist interacting with guests from the foot massage area and there are only 3 foot massage set ups. Massage was good but same comment about the 40/40 foot and body massage combo as I have for their sister location: I think they don't give you the full 80 minutes because you need to switch to a room and change for the body massage so the only advice I would give the owners is to consider having 5 more minutes for the body massage portion if it's advertised as 40 minutes for each service. It is nice they have $10 off on weds for the 40/40 combo and $10 off Thursdays for their 90 min services. There's a membership for $100 to get discounted pricing for a year also.

I booked a 90 minute massage through the website and then I received an email confirmation as well as an opportunity to fill out a client intake form ahead of time. This business is located in a Victorian home that houses different types of businesses. When looking at it from the street, there's a long driveway to the left of the building that leads to a free parking lot. When entering the building, you can find Kristin's office by heading up the stairs and she's the first door on the right. Her setup is lovely and looks so clean and inviting. I love the decor. She briefly sat down with me to see what my needs were and to see if I had any injuries she should know about. The massage table is warmed up and she has a heater going during the massage. The massage was so great! Her massage strokes were slower than I'm used to and I did have my doubts at first but I quickly realized that that's what made the massage relaxing yet effective. She knew which points to hit and work out. I caught myself falling asleep several times. I liked how she changed the pressure throughout different parts of my body, because it felt like the massage was tailored and personalized to me. She also massaged my hips which no one had ever done before. I didn't know how much I needed that area worked on until today! Kirstin uses essential oils for the massage and they smell amazing. It smelled sort of minty and my body felt minty/tingly up the point when I drove myself home. When it was time to lay on my back, she asked if I wanted an eye pillow. I appreciated that since without an eye pillow, I usually feel so "exposed" for some reason while being massaged. After the massage, she provided a glass of water and then she took the time to talk with me about things she noticed during the massage. She let me know which areas needed a little more pressure and which areas seemed to be tight. She also answered my questions about massage therapy in general and gave me some aftercare instructions. I felt like I was sitting there chatting with a friend. She didn't try to rush me out of there at all. I would definitely like to return for another massage and she said that the next appointment would be 25% off. Her prices are reasonable and you have the option to pay after the massage, meaning you don't have to hold your reservation with a credit card. She also accepts Venmo which is handy. Can't wait to return!

I tried heat, acupuncture, theragun, muscle relaxers, tiger balm, relaxing massage, etc., and it got a tiny bit better but came back with a vengeance this week. Last night at 11:30 pm as I couldn't sleep because of the giant knot that was taking over my neck, I looked for deep tissue massage for this morning, and was so glad I found Dusit Thai. Tai was my therapist and is the owner and she basically saved my life. She did a combination of deep tissue Swedish (I think) massage and had great strong pressure and clearly a lot of knowledge and understanding about anatomy as she worked on both my neck things that weren't my neck but made my neck feel much better. At the end she said, "This might feel a little weird but if you're willing to sit on the floor rug and lean against the table, I can use my knees to get even deeper." I put my clothes on and sat on the floor and I couldn't see what she was doing but somehow she put all her weight in her knee and the knee on my shoulder and it was the best thing that's ever happened to my muscle knots. They have Thai, Swedish, and deep tissue massage and also reflexology. They can do a combination of things like they did for me. I will DEFINITELY be back and I recommend you all check it out!
