2 of us ladies came in together. Quick check in, no waiting. I asked for a 1 hour full body massage and was led to a table in the middle of the open communal room next to a stranger despite the fact that there had to have been 11 other empty tables. Apparently you get a massage with all your clothes on here, no massage oil whatsoever. I had to excuse myself to the restroom to remove my bra as a massage over my bra straps and hooks is not comfortable for me. Then I had to figure out what to do with my bra in the open community room as I had a cross strap purse that was too small to fit my bra into. I was embarrassed. My massage involved a lot of elbows into my rib bones and deep pressure against the backside of my pelvis/hip bone. I marked 4 out of 1-10 on pressure intensity checkin sheet. Not strong, not light. To me just medium. Since my hand motions of covering my ribs, the flinching and tensing my entire body when it hurt did not change where he was massaging and intensity I verbally used my words and said., "Do not put pressure on my bones. Muscles only please ". Nothing changed. I was so close to walking out but since my friend was there I did not want to distract her in any way. I have had massages in many different countries this was the worst ever. I doubt the person massaging me has the training of a licensed massage therapist. Never even asked me to flip over. No attempt at reflexology points, nothing. Nobody in the office speaks any english. When I asked if there was a private room as I did not want a massage with my clothes on and I wanted massage oil used nobody understood a word I said. At the end I got a receipt with $45 written on it and when I handed him a $100 bill he just stood there. No attempt to make any change, no words, nothing. I will never be back. I suggest at least one person speak english that works there and that massages are for muscles not for digging into ribs/bones. Anybody else that goes there make sure to watch out for excessive pressure on your spleen as well, because too much pressure on your spleen can cause it to rupture. My daughter who was with me asked me how my massage was and I told her worse ever and she said same. She had the 30 minute combo foot/back, she was not happy with hers either. read more

Thank you Chen for ANOTHER great massage. I usually get foot massage, but this time my neck and shoulder were killing me. I walked out of there feeling no pain at all. He used the perfect pressure and checked to see if it was a good pace/intensity a few times. This place is magical, very clean and every person I've had has been amazing. I usually never have to wait for more than 2 or 3 min. It's the best way to unwind after a stressful day or just get the kinks worked out. I just so happened to be changing buses in Lower Queen Anne the other day when I saw an A-board sign that read: "Massages $35/hour". Wowza, I thought. So I took a picture of the sign and jumped aboard my next bus. So, while on the bus, I looked into it. As far as I knew, I thought Massage Envy was the cheapest way to get a decent massage around here. Not by a long shot! They charge almost double and that's before the tip. So, I came to Yelp to read the reviews for "Relaxing Station". I didn't find one complaint! Now that's rare! Thru the reviews I learned that they did the massages fully clothed. At first I was puzzled and I thought it would hinder my experience but no, I had an amazing experience even fully dressed, just like the other people from Yelp had said. Tho, I did appreciate the forewarnings because I made sure to wear soft, unbinding clothes with no underwire bra. When I got there, I could see that the space had been newly renovated and was very clean and tidy. I could smell the fresh wood. The employees all wear the same uniform. There are several branches all over America. So, this is definitely a reputable biz. You put ur belongings into a box and they get right to work. There is a communication breakdown, because they don't speak English. But that shouldn't cause too many problems. They will direct u to their sign in sheet where u select what type of massage you want, (full body massage, chair massage, foot reflexology massage or a combination) as well as the speed and pressure ur looking for. And I can imagine that u could stop them at any point to ask for more or less pressure. There was one minor lost in translation moment where I didn't know what to do. I was getting a foot reflexology massage. He wrapped each wet foot/leg into a towel. When he opened one towel, he saw something brown on the towel. I could read his face..."what is that?!?!" he's thinking. Well, it was from my spray tan. I had no earthly idea how to make that known to him. So, I had to let him think that the towel was soiled before he wrapped my foot in it. ‍ Regardless, it's a great place to go for massages and since they don't speak English, please appreciate their kindness and hard work monetarily! They will appreciate that. I tipped them just as much as I would if I had gone to Massage Envy. They were grateful. And I feel great since coming back! I will go again in about two weeks! I like this place and most people are great! I hate to give a low 2-star review because of one bad experience that I had for my birthday. The person who massaged me named "Hua" asked us to tip more because she wasn't happy about the 10% tips we put on the paper. Then she letured us that we "should" at least tip $10 to $15 because that's what "everyone" does. She then told me that if we go to a restaurant, we also need to pay 20% tips, and then I looked at their price, $45 for 60 mins, so 20% would be $9, should not be a minimum of $10 as she claimed. (At this point, I'm just disappointed and gave her whatever she asked, however, I will for sure not to let her massage me again.) Compared to other people at this place, her skill is not even good. Except having strong pressure that hurt me multiple times, she didn't even hit the spots that supposed to make you feel better afterwards. Then she also complained about how long she's been working and not willing to take the next customer (which is ok, but should at least acted professional in front of your customers.) Again, I would give this place a 4-star if not because of "Hua". The other guy who knows us as a regular felt bad about this and gave us coupons for a $5 off next time, and I appreciated that. read more

Best in the area by a long shot. 45 an hour, clean, bright, open, bottled water, relaxing music and video screens. Polite, friendly and professional practitioners. Mostly male but also women. Not English fluent mostly but that's not a problem. I tip it up to $60 an hour because they're worth it. Also, the first time we came my husband went for a 7 on the 1-7 scale and left pretty impressed by the guy's hand strength. He got a 4 this time :). read more

This place was good for an inexpensive 'foot' massage place. They let you choose your pressure/speed, and then they really work you over, so be sure that you're ready for it if you request anything other than light pressure. I asked for it to be mid-deep and seriously had to remind myself to breathe a few times. So no, I would not say that this is the 'relaxing' station. However the masseuse did ask if the pressure was okay and I could have asked him to tone it down... So that's on me. And he worked out the knots so I felt better after, I guess. LOL. The space itself is big and clean. They have both chairs and tables where you can lay flat. The tables have a tiny bit of separation between them and everyone is fully clothed. For the price (full body is $36 for 60 min + $1 if you want to pay with credit card), it was good. I will probably opt for a more relaxing experience elsewhere next time, but if you like foot massage places, then you'll like this one. read more

Chen was AWESOME! I'd never been to a massage parlor before to be honest. I wasn't sure what to expect. This place is clean and the water fountains drown out the noise of traffic. It's the perfect combination of private and open with small stalls. Several people are getting massages at the same time as you but you'd never know. The music is calming and the prices... DONT GET ME STARTED! $45 for an hr?! Worth it and soooo affordable. Keeping fully clothed was a comfort to me, but I made sure to wear stretchy pants to pull up for the foot massage. Wonderful 40 minute massage by Susan for $26. Very reasonable price for that length of massage. I have used her twice. She works hard for the entire time. The first time she even went a little long. Such a different setup than other places I've been for massages (and I've tried a lot). Was a little skeptical at first but left very happy! The price is for sure what brought me in and it delivered. There's less privacy here than private rooms and you can occasionally get pulled out of the zone when others speak around you, but not a big deal. Signing in was easy and I got a massage within a minute of coming in (without an appointment). You wear your clothes during the massage, which I've never experienced with a full massage, but it didn't inhibit anything like I imagined. They really got into the muscles and I'm so pleased.
