I was very pleased with this company and they did great cleaning in the past. My latest experience was not as good as previously. We hired them to do a move out deep cleaning which cost over $500. Their two employees did about 75% of the job and left with dirt stains on the kitchen and bathroom tile floors, sides of counters not wiped, grease above the microwave and in the upper cabinet and along the top of the kitchen cabinet doors closet shelves not cleaned, as well as some of the interior windows etc. I told the owner Brandon that I was not satisfied and that my Wife decided to complete their cleaning job as she didn't want them back at the house. Brandon understood and took care of the issue and refunded $200 off of the bill. Completely satisfying my wife's dissatisfaction. Thus rendering complete client satisfaction. read more

So, my estimate was half of what I was charged. The 2 people that came to clean my house however, were amazing! It's too bad the owner is a scam artist, I would've loved to have them come back. Unfortunately, we can't afford $230 every 2 weeks when we originally agreed upon $140. I brought my concerns up to the owner and he suggested we should do a monthly service instead of bi-weekly but that defeats the purpose of having bi-weekly cleaning. Lol. I was introduced to Reliable Housekeeping here on yelp through their quote feature that allows you to get quotes from local businesses. Brandon responded quickly to my request for a quote. Brandon's communication was clear, friendly and professional. He provided a quote for the job, and we set up a date and time for the crew to clean the same day I requested the quote! The day of the cleaning; the crew texted to let me know they were on their way, and they got here right on time. They did a deep clean of a house that I don't think it had a deep clean in four or five years. I was getting ready to move into the house, and I needed a team willing to clean base boards, sills, windows, blinds, walls. They turned a dingy five bedroom house into something move in ready in a matter of hours. They did such a great job, I asked them to come back later in the week and clean the exterior windows and do some more work in the kitchen and bathrooms. ( they were late on top of that large window. I was assured they would be early because I was the first House that day) regardless told them it wouldn't work out and have to reschedule. I hired this company to do a one-time deep clean of my downstairs. I asked if they could also clean the banister to my stairs. I even confirmed on the phone they could clean the banister without damaging the finish and was assured they knew what they were doing. Two people showed up for a 3 hr job. The guy "cleaned" my banister using a melamine sponge and striped the finish up and down the entire banister. The downstairs bathroom wasn't cleaned and the shower door was left with soap scum all over it. The guy that cleaned it said they hadn't brought the right tools to clean it. The woman took 2 hrs to clean the shelves in a near empty refrigerator. I found later she had broke one of the shelves and hid it. The owner did later replace the broken piece to his credit. He also said he had multiple complaints from clients that she broke things in their homes. If that is the case, why did he keep sending her out? They did not clean the windows which was to be part of the service. When I asked why not as they were leaving, I came to find out they didn't know shutters opened to allow access to clean the windows. I paid over $400 to this company. They not only did not do even basic cleaning, much less deep cleaning and they did major damage to my home. I tried to work it out with the owner to refund the cleaning fee so I can apply it to having the finish on my banister repaired and have heard nothing from the owner after multiple requests. Do not use this company. The employees are not screened, untrained, and do terrible work. They don't even know how to clean and I am left with a damaged home to repair. read more

Good thing about this company was that they were able to squeeze me into their schedule in a one day notice. However when i made the appointment, the company misled me about the pricing and service. I have a regular cleaning team, but because they tested positive with covid so they were not able to come and clean the house. My regular cleaning team came once a month charged me $160 with 3 person deep cleaning and no time limit. (Include inside the fridge, oven, microwave, dusting the blinds, pictures, cleaning under the couch and waxing my piano) Thats why when reliable housekeeping told me 3.5 hours for $185, it made sense to me. When Nick and his team came, i told them what i need to be done in the house, i am very surprised that he told me my requests are time consuming, because they only have an hour and half (precisely an hour and 10 minutes) to clean the house. I told him i purchased 3.5 hours. He said 3.5 hours is divided by 3 workers. I didn't know what to say, and just ask them at least do the basic cleaning. When they are done, my bed side table is still dusty, the kitchen sink still have brown stain around the drain area, bathroom sliding door still have water spot. The price was reasonable for the amount of work they had to do. Three ladies were dispatched to my place and they got it sparkling, even tackling the crusty oven, and leaf and dirt-filled patio. What I especially liked was that they swept/vacuumed under the furniture they could and instead of dusting around everything, they moved the items and made sure to wipe all surfaces. Now after moving in, we got to evaluate his work in detail. Hence putting this delayed review. I had discussed about a fixed rate rather than hourly. When he arrived at home, after evaluating the carpet area, he increased the quote by$100. Further, after about three hours, her mentioned he is done. When we looked at kitchen, we found lot of sorry spots. He mentioned that his three hours are over and that he cannot do anything more than what he has already done. Moving to a new town is daunting -- you have to start everything over again from friendships to dentists to housecleaners. I actually had not been able to afford housecleaners since moving to California in 2015 but finally felt I could manage it. I was shocked at the estimates I was getting! Some services didn't even call or text me back. Some were snarly. Reliable was a great find -- much more reasonable pricing and good service. They come on a biweekly schedule, which is plenty for us, on the same day of the week. The time varies, which can be a little challenging to plan around. The cleaners are fast, professional, and pretty thorough. We have rare books and art, and older furniture that require careful handling, which Reliable respects. They bring all their own equipment and materials, which means I'm not having to buy expensive products. We've been very pleased. read more

Incredibly happy with the services Brandon, Lei, and Nick provided! I originally needed their service back in March. Was able to get a quote for 6 hours then. I also requested oven and blinds to be cleaned . The process of getting an estimate online was seamless. Due to hospitalization I wasn't able to get the cleaning originally quoted for. Now we're in May, I was able to put down the deposit. I gave Brandon a call and Brandon was able to get me a last minute next day appointment! Day of cleaning, I received a text letting me know when to expect the cleaners. Nick and Lei came on time. They are both very friendly and diligent with their cleaning. Everything looked spectacular! They even got wiped down our baseboards. A couple spots were missed but they were open to rechecking their work. Very receptive! I know our house wasn't easy. We had.... A lot of cat hair from having 3 cats and few months of not being able to clean the house ourselves. Our house now looks as close to when we first moved in! I hired Reliable Housekeeping for DEEP cleaning services for my home that I'm getting ready to list on the market. I was quoted and charged $480 for three cleaners at the rate of $40 an hour per cleaner. At the prices I was charged and how they advertise on their website "providing the highest standard cleaning," a customer would expect professional, quality work. Instead I had to hire another company to get the actual job completed correctly. After the owner Brandon claimed to be done, he said he didn't have time to do a final walk through. But he suggested that I could do one and to let him know if there was anything he could do to make it better. Upon doing my own walk through I discovered a lot of areas they missed and most areas they cleaned were not thorough. I took a good amount of photos that reflect subpar work. He also admitted to removing the protective film on the microwave pad when cleaning it, yet denied damaging it. However, because of that it is all scratched up. There were also scratch damages to my stove that didn't exist before they cleaned. One of his cleaners verbally admitted to one of my witnesses and I about being inexperienced and the quality definitely shows. I contacted Brandon via email to send him all the photos, seek resolution, and request a refund. I also made him aware that this caused a delay in the scheduling of listing my house. I had to cancel the photography appointment the following day so I could get it truly deep cleaned. His response was extremely unprofessional and off putting. He offered zero refund. I was met with defensiveness and his lack of professionalism in willingly giving me his business license number. He told me to "contact the Sacramento county business license office." I would never want anyone to go through this and that is why I'm sharing my experience. If you need professional deep cleaning and customer service I would highly suggest to stay away from this company. read more
