This place is solid. They're 2 for 2 having obscure appliance parts in stock for me within the last 6 months. I needed a fan blade for a refrigerator and a control board for a washing machine and they had the ones for my model on the shelf both times, at decent prices. William was great helping us replace a refrigerator thermostat that had gone out in a Kenmore / Whirlpool refrigerator. The refrigerator section was constantly freezing on us. The refrigerator model number was 10658909801. (I checked the air diffuser (part number WPW10151374), but it was working just fine - the plastic damper slide was fully intact.) The failed thermostat part number was 2315562. The correct thermostat for our model was on back order indefinitely (factory issue), so William helped us find a replacement thermostat that might work for our fridge (WP2198202). The old thermostat was a "slide-type" thermostat and the new one was a "dial-type" thermostat. It came without a knob, but most people just set their thermostat and forget it - so this was not an issue for us. The install was quick and easy. I removed power to the unit and removed the old thermostat. I removed the capillary tube from the old thermostat and placed it on the new one - I then put the thermostat capillary tube back into its proper position. Since there was no knob, I just placed the thermostat on its side. I connected up the ground wire and the two "hot" wires to the new thermostat, and that was it. I set the dial to its default mid-point, reapplied power to the unit, and 48 hours later, we are at a nice constant 34 degrees F. This fix saved my family at least $1700 by not having to buy a new refrigerator. We appreciate the customer service, and while we might've been able to find the part cheaper online, I am glad to support such a wonderful, helpful business. I was also happy that I received a new, factory calibrated genuine Whirlpool part, which I doubt I would have received if I bought it online. read more

Fantastic customer service and they always have what I need in stock. I am a mom on a budget and if I can fix it myself, I will. Appliance Parts Depot sales people have technical experience and will trouble shoot with me on the phone and pull a part for "will call" so I can get in and out in a hurry. They have printed schematics out for me and walked me through a couple of repairs, but youtube has gotten me through a motor replacement when needed. You can find cheaper parts online, but APD absolutely come through when you are in a hurry, like when your range motherboard goes out the day before thanksgiving- true story! read more

I have a front load washer that the door catch was broken on. I came here for a replacement. The representative asked me what color my part was, "grey or white?" Mine was grey. He told me the white one was the exact same part but the grey one was 40$ and the white one was 10$. Instead of over selling me an exact same part he directed me toward a cheaper option (again was the exact same part) just a different color. I went home switched the latches and washer works again.
