Update: All Service Moving updated their liability policy…read more They did a great job but initially I was concerned about the form I signed. I indicated that in my previous review. I am no longer concerned. Carlos Munoz talked to me about my review. After some soul searching the company changed the form so they are legally obligated to cover part of the cost of hall away under their damage liability with the potential to cover more with negotiation. I think before in the unlikely event they drop something you would call in and they would work something out. Now it's in writing. I love that. They did a great job.

Update: 50% refund…read more Yeah, don't go with these guys. i had specific instructions for my move both to the rep on the phone (xavier he's great) and to them directly. all were not really cared for properly. I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. In the end this guy ruined my $2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.

I was able to message with someone online to coordinate details and even adjust our move as plans shifted, which made the whole process much less stressful. On moving day, our crew was incredible. Andy, Miraj, Muha, Tatty, and Aibar were kind, efficient, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. They worked hard, stayed positive, and handled everything with care. Two Asian dudes showed up, barely spoke to me, one would only speak his own language while the other would then speak to me in English. They rudely took pics of my apartment, then went and sat back in their truck. After about 20 minutes, the guys came out and said they couldn't do the move because it was "unsafe". Prior to that it was because I had too many small items, and in between that I was told it was because I asked for 3 hours and they'd need 7-9 hours. I called dispatch again and told Karina she sent me two racist movers. She claimed that couldn't be. I explained my stance and she said she'd call me back. Meanwhile, I have no way to move my stuff. Karina said she would talk with her moving team and call me back. Guess what? She never did. I guess you get great service when you have the right skin color. Move your stuff yourself and save the headache. The worst company ever and I don't see how Yelp recommends them. I'm disgusted.

I was completely honest and said if anything got broken I needed to know right away, That didn't happen. My husband's mission style table that was his grandfathers had its top completely taken off, and this was after they were told to not lift it by the top. Our inner door in house that closes laundry room off from rest of house was taken off to bring items in and not put back on. A two tier metal shoe stand somehow lost one of its feet and one of our cubby thins (1 wide and 4 tall) was damaged and is now wobbly. I care less about cubby and shoe rack, but the other two things should not have happened. Yes I emailed about damage and sent pictures but have received no response as of yet. Also if they remove something from bottom of your freezer (plastic skids we left on since purchasing--they should have been put back on or in my opinion don't set the dirty pieces on pristine clean washer)I thought it was a great move last time and knowing damaged items (three shelf bookcase mysteriously loses its whole back piece that is structural to not have it wobbling) is partially my fault but I was directing stuff to two places. This time my husband and myself were watching. I did spend almost 1400 and tipped some. It did save my back and knee. If you do use them, don't chose option of 60 cents a pound as payment for damages or lost items--have full written inventory of all your items, take pictures before it's loaded on truck, have multiple people at each location to direct. Definitely don't sign off until things are ok, I sent my husband out to see truck was empty and movers had him sign off on it, the move was under my name only, so I should have had to sign and now waiting to hear if they will fix the damage to table.

I scheduled a move within the same apartment complex. This was not a cross-town move--it was a transfer between two apartments approximately 200 feet apart with identical floor plans. I was given a 10:00-11:00 AM arrival window. The crew did not arrive until approximately 2:30 PM, more than three hours late. During that time, I received no meaningful updates and spent the day waiting. When the crew finally arrived, only three movers showed up instead of the four-person crew I expected. Rather than arriving with a plan, they immediately expressed doubts about completing the move. The manager's response to the delay was disappointing and dismissive. When I explained that the delay was seriously impacting my day, I did not feel that the situation was being taken seriously. Ultimately, the move was not completed. I had to make alternative arrangements, hire additional help on my own, and spend the weekend moving and unpacking largely by myself. What is most frustrating is that I specifically hired a professional moving company to avoid exactly this situation. Instead, the late arrival, staffing issues, and lack of communication turned what should have been a straightforward apartment transfer into a stressful and exhausting experience. I understand that delays can happen. What I cannot understand is the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service after the delay occurred. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

I hired Cari for a second time because she was so hardworking and thorough 2 years ago when she organized my guest bedroom and storage area. She absolutely crushed it again, going above and beyond to get my stuff sorted by discard, donate or keep lists. She expertly disassembled bed frames, carefully packed up my fragile items (LOTS of them), and purchased boxes and other moving supplies before she began. Cari donated my chosen items to charity and discarded my rejects, and never appeared judgmental when I absolutely couldn't part with my mom's ancient Guardian Ware roasting pan set, despite my admission that I've never actually used it! She is experienced and understands how hard it is to part with some things, but also will respectfully help you decide if you ask her to. So my not being there wasn't a huge issue in the end, and I felt so relieved hiring Cari to take this on when I couldn't. Her prices are reasonable and she is worth every penny. I've moved many many times and I'm so disappointed…read more They first came over to give me a quote and they were really nice, which is why I chose them originally to move me. But the guy did talk very quickly and I felt a bit rushed, but I did not put too much weight into that. Big mistake. This move was considered a long distance move and I was charged hourly. They called at 7:40ish to confirm they were on their way. That's when the guy said, "we love long distance moves.".Hmmmm.... That was a red flag right there. They arrived a little late because they could not locate my unit. Funny... they found it fine for the quote. This is important because of how they ended up charging me. They claim they arrived at 8:15 when they didn't show up on my doorstep until after 8:30am. I did not catch this detail until it was way too late. So they start loading up the truck, telling me we are making good time because of my exceptional packing. That we should finish "on time". They mentioned that most people aren't as well packed as me. They did not even need to bring extra material because I was so well organized. Then the one guy took forever on dismantling my bed. He got stuck with removing the nuts and bolts, saying they were stripped. That's when the other guy asked me if the other movers had put the bed together, I said "yes" and that's when he said, "well this will slow us down" this is why we quotes are not binding." Again.. another red flag. BUT it turns out that all that was wrong was there was a screw that needed to be loosened from behind the bolt. But no, they tried to blame my former mover for a problem that didn't even exist to get more money out of me. Then they asked what furniture I wanted covered. What???? Aren't they supposed to do that anyway? Then they notified me they were not enough blankets. But if I wanted, I could get more, it would just mean going back to their shop which meant more time on the clock. Meaning it would cost me more money! Are you kidding me? What happened to the guy who came over to give me the quote? He listed all of my furniture on the quote so why would they not bring enough blankets and items to protect my furniture? That too smelled scammy! Then we get to my new place and they start saying the distance from truck to unit was 3 times the distance of my last unit. It wasn't. It was a longer walk, but not by three times. I was told they would place each box in the appropriate rooms if the boxes were marked. Most boxes were placed just anywhere and not in their designated locations. Then they started rushing me, telling me they are going over time due to the traffic they encountered on the way up. Even though they were checking their social media constantly or on the phone talking to their partners. So I'm helping them unload the truck. I actually take a fall and all they asked is if fell from the truck. I ended up really hurt. At the end, they tried to bill me for more than $500 over the quoted amount to move a 1 bdrm apartment. I originally did not catch the start time they annotated when I was arguing on the phone over the ridiculous increase in price. I ended up paying $300 more than quoted when they arrived late, blamed everything else but themselves for slow times even though they finished BEFORE the quoted end time. Yup, they finished before the end time yet they were trying to bill me for overtime. They also didn't bring enough supplies but were willing to bring more if I paid more. Horrible horrible experience! I do not recommend!
