We were starving when we arrived in Winslow and RelicRoad was open so in we went! We're always looking for unique local spots and a brewery is generally on the top of our list! RelicRoad doesn't brew beer though so not sure how they got the "Brewing" name, maybe they did at one point?? We chose a seat at the bar and were greeted right away by a very nice and friendly server. She took our orders, brought our food and beer and we never saw her again!! The food was good tavern, pub, brewhouse food! Excellent Reuben with a nice pile of meat and the turkey melt was perfect! Love the hand cut fries, mine were a bit discolored but saw others coming out beautifully golden so maybe just a fluke. The onion rings were giant, crunchy and tender on the inside. The candied bacon though, yeah, that didn't work! It basically just burnt on the grill because it's way too thin but hey, they tried!! The young lady working the bar was great with timing and attention. The place is very cute with Route 66 vibes and we enjoyed watching the chefs in the open kitchen while taking in some football on the big screens. Both of us really enjoyed our beer / cocktail. The fish tacos were exceptional! Loved the chew on the blue corn tortillas. COBB salad was generously portioned with a freshly grilled chicken breast, but the ranch dressing was only meh. It was very busy when I stopped in. Luckily, a table was leaving, so I was seated quickly. It definitely seems like this is where people go if they're visiting! The inside was rustic, clean, and interesting since the kitchen was open for full view. The food took a while to come out. By the time it came by, I was starving. Overall, it was okay. The homemade chips were slightly burnt and didn't have salt. My burger also didn't have a lot of flavor. I'd come back to try the appetizers and drinks, but for the cost, I'd be a bit worried about trying more entrees. read more

So glad we stopped. My husband and I were traveling and looking for somewhere for lunch. Perfect time because we found the RelicRoad Brewing. Loved the decor, and seems like a local favorite. The menu at something for everyone from salads, sandwiches, and burgers. My husband went with the Taco Salad and he said it was the best he ever had in a restaurant. I went with the burger and so glad I did. The BBQ sauce is not like anything I had before and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place. Well, this is the first brewery that I've been to that doesn't brew their own beer. A better name for this place would be RelicRoad Taphouse. You shouldn't be allowed to call yourself a brewery unless you're brewing beer. I'm disappointed because I was excited to try a new brewery and I've never been to Winslow. Okay, my rant is over... Anyway, it seems like a nice enough place in this very odd town. Its hard to imagine a town where the only thing it has going for it is an old song that is not really not even that good. The staff is sort of friendly and people here seem like they're having a good time. They have about 20 beers on tap, many of which are from Arizona, which is nice. Oh my, where to begin... We arrived in Winslow around 7:00, after a very busy day of hiking and sightseeing, and we were HUNGRY! The brewery is conveniently located across from "the corner" and filled with nostalgia and Route 66 charm. Our bartender was super friendly and gave us some great touring ideas for the next day. The place wasn't super busy, but still had a bit of a laid back party vibe. I ordered an IPA, followed by a hazy, and both were delicious! My wife had a cocktail that the bartender recommended (love potion #9) and she loved it (it was really a beautiful looking drink). I had the Diablo burger and she had the southwestern burger. They were amazing! Mine was a half pound patty on an everything bagel with cheese, peppers, and a house-made slaw. We agreed they were two of the best burgers we've ever had. We're planning to come back in a year or two, and between the food, beer and service, how can this place not be a stop? read more

Avoid at all costs! Absolutely horrible experience. After driving 8hours and pulling into Winslow tired and hungry the hotel said this was the place to eat! IT IS NOT! After walking in and seeing a sign telling us to wait to be seated we were ignored for 5 minutes and finally we had to walk to the bar and ask if we should seat ourselves, which we did. Then 10 minutes goes by before a menu or glass of water was brought to the table. Finally the bartender came to take our order. We asked for no ice in the water and was given a full glass of ice and water. The food took wayyyyyy too long to come out! Bullock Road brewing is a very fast paced restaurant/brewery where you come in you can kind of sit where you want and you are served really fast. It's an open kitchen area where you can always watch your food being cooked, which is always nice. I actually enjoy this brewery. I love the decals and decorations. This is an awesome place! Great tasting made-to-order food, fun themed and loud atmosphere. Just overall fun place. We sat at the bar for lunch. The counter help provided great and prompt service. The fried potatoes were spiral sliced and cooked then serviced on a wooden skewer. Fun. Get the fried zucchini. They were fresh, big, and a big serving not to mention delicious. Both my husband and I had build-your-own burgers (his with the Texas toast and mine with the sourdough bun) and the homemade fries. I can truly say my burger was the MOST amazing I've had in a long time and I was kind of surprised because of the touristy area. My burger was juicy and so flavorful, the bacon was thick ( or the thin stuff I'm used to getting on burgers nowadays). We sat at the bar area right next to the grill and got to see many dishes being made and the cooks and server staff are very well coordinated. After "Standing on the Corner", lunch was needed. This fit the bill nicely. Friendly staff, quick seating, and fantastic food options here. I hade a build it myself burger, Green Chili and Cheese with fries and my friend had a club and hose made chips. I realize it's a brewery with good beer, but my grandkids love the food and the appetizers. I love the salads, the blue corn tacos and the burgers (That's what I've had so far). The wings, the oversized pretzels and the house chips are great! The service has always been exceptional, and the wait staff often check on you regularly to make sure your drinks are not too low. We usually dine during off hours so I'm not sure what it's like during standard meal hours but I highly recommend it. On our way to Ganado, Arizona, we had stopped through Winslow to have lunch. The restaurant is right along historic Rte 66. I found Relic Road off Yelp and one look at their menu had me sold. We dined on their outdoor patio and for our mains, I ordered Grandma's Armadillo eggs which is a Jalapeno popper encased in meat then fried. The poppers were savory and the jalapeno had a nice kick. My husband got fish tacos. The blue corn tortillas were nice and crunchy and the fish went well with the slaw. Both our meals were delicious, pricing was fair, service was a tad slow but overall our server was friendly. Payment was quick and simple off their Toast app. Sidebar: Steps away from the restaurant on the intersection of Second St and Kinsley Avenue, there's a great photo op where you can take pics of the Winslow, AZ mural. This mural served as a dedication to where an auto malfunction in the area inspired lyrics from "Take it Easy" by the Eagles. Indoor décor had your classic petroliana which is great for photo ops and they have a large selection of local beers. We didn't have trouble finding parking on the streets. What a quaint spot located along historic Route 66 in Winslow! This was my first time visiting Winslow having lived in the valley for over 20 years. It's a quaint town but doesn't have much going on, except for Relic Road! Usually small towns don't have many eating options but Relic Road has something for everyone. I had a delicious veggie sandwich on marbled rye bread and their house chips are amazing! If you're passing through and are hungry, definitely stop here. The bar tender was running the entire show and it was impressive watching her multi-task. She had 5 or 6 tables plus all the people at the bar and one table in the Relic Room, a separate room from the bar that is super fancy. She had to play host, food runner, server, and bar tender. This is a great pit stop for munchies in town... it's got all the goodies to keep you going as you wander around town and ready for a bite, a delicious bite to boot. Their menu offers a lot of run-of-the-mill standard stuff but in a good way, their delish. This mid-town taphouse offers decadent Mac-n-Cheese, tasty Corn Roasted nuggets to at least four types of salads for the wimpish do-gooders, to some cool Tenders and Tacos, to some really delectable, well-made burgers - I mean, really, really well-made tasty and juicy, delectable burgers. This spacious, extremely rustic and Roadhousesque joint welcomes you out of the heat with great brews too! They have both inside and outside very open ample seating and you can even order out. While there my wife went for the really well prepared and refreshing Prickly Pear Lemonade, I of course went for a large Dragoon Sonoran Ale - really cold! The hit of the afternoon though was the meal. We both went for their Relic Burger... Bison Burger that is. I got it medium rare; she got it medium, with the accouterments we preferred. The fries were good too! But I must say, I've had Bison Burger before, but this is the best I've had to date - worth the visit in itself. Relic Road Brewing Company is most definitely well worth the visit for a hearty lunch and a terrific burger, a Bison Burger. And I hear they have special events and activities regularly.
