We didn't get to eat here. It was busy and we walked in to stand there for almost 10 minutes with several staff passing us by. Finally one stopped and let us know that they were full and we could elect to sit outside in the 106 degree weather but that the kitchen was going to take at least 45 minutes to get food once order was made. She was very abrupt. Atmosphere was extremely loud and several grumpy looking people were sitting around waiting for their food. Excellent lunch after standing on the corner (complete with a flat bed ford)! . Great service. The local favorites are highlighted in red. We went for the beer candied bacon and tacos. Both were delicious. Taco shells were particularly crunchy & delicious and I truly appreciated that waitress was happy to explain to me how they are made. This is an amazing place. The atmosphere is rustic but friendly, clean and interesting. Obviously a home town favorite. The fish taco were made from scratch with blue corn taco, fresh beer batter fish, pico de gallo, slaw with sriracha added and additional sriracha sauce on the side. Came in for our first time ever about 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Sat at the bar and it got packed soon after. I had a side salad,armadillo eggs and the candied beer bacon. Hubby had the relic tacos. The candied beer bacon was amazing. The armadillo eggs weren't my favorite thing. They were kinda well done on the outside but someone might like that. His relic tacos he thought were ok. The beers we had were super good. We got the orange one. You'll have to look at my menu screen shots for the name. The bartender/server seemed ok at times and annoyed at other times lol. But I would be too dealing with people and they were getting slammed. Had a good amount of TVs to watch sports on. Have a ton of beers to choose from. No domestics though. Decided to check out Winslow Az on a Sunday, whole lot of things were closed . Found relic road on yelp and it had good reviews so I decided to stop. They were jammed packed. Took a little while to get waited on but like I said they were packed. The waitress was sweet as pie. She was running all over the place but always smiled and always called me honey. I never felt rushed to make a decision. And I asked a lot of questions as I had never been here before and they had way too many beers for me to just pick one. She steered me to a couple of great ambers and I tried them both, both were excellent. Sorry no photos but I hadn't eaten all day and was starving and the food look so excellent. I had the build your own burger and have not had a fresh made burger like that in years! It was out of this world! Wow! What a menu! So many choices. Get the armadillo eggs. Two breaded jalapeños with cream cheese in the middle and covered with melted shredded cheese. Got the fish tacos, 4, yes 4 breaded cod with the slaw and hot sauce on the side. Wife got the Relic chicken and pinion rings that is huge. They don't skimp on the portions at all! Berries are from local breweries as far as Phoenix and as close as Flagstaff. 20 different choices. They also do mixed drink cocktails. Let's chat about amazing food. Living in a foodie strong city with delicious options all around, I find it hard to find incredible places to eat on the road on a whim. Passing through this little town as we traveled down Route 66 we decided we better grab a bite to eat as restaurants had been few and far between. We seriously stumbled upon a gem!!! We ate on the patio as the weather was pleasant, but the indoor decor was so inviting I almost wished we would have checked that out first. Needless to say, we came for the food and left more than satisfied. Service was equally fantastic! This is the stop if you are passing though or staying in Winslow. On the way from the Petrified Forest to Flagstaff. We were hungry and found this on Yelp. Beware: this place upcharges for most things e.g. cheese, green chilies, onion rings, fries, etc. my mediocre, frozen black bean burger patty became $21! The chicken tenders are nuggets and fries weren't crispy and were soft. The onion rings were just ok. My youngest at the sliders which could feed two kids. My oldest had a burger and fries. It was $86 for a family of four to eat here. And that's without the tip. The service was fine and the lady was friendly. I'd say 2.5 stars due to the process and upcharges and mediocre meal for half of us. Our kids were fine with their burgers. But really this is so expensive for a tiny town in the middle of nowwhere. read more

Wanted to stop in Winslow to photograph "Standing on the Corner" statue. Figured I get lunch beforehand never realizing that this place is right across the street. Had a flight of four beers, which were all great! #2, 6, 11 and 17. The Orange blossom and pumpkin were especially nice. But the absolute best was the fish tacos!!! Weather was great so I sat outside. Not sure I'll be back to Winslow cuz it was a bucket list stop, but if I do I'd dine here again for the tacos. Staff was friendly. Ladies room clean. Yesterday we stopped in Winslow, Arizona for lunch & DAMN did we inhale our food ‍ He built his own burger which included a black bean burger , jalapeños , green chilies, , avocado , & pickles. I got the veggie sandwich : tomato , onions , pickles, avocado , alfalfa sprouts, & sunflower seeds, then asked for no cream cheese, Swiss, or cheddar . I asked them to put it on an everything bagel & they were very accommodating! The only thing was, they left on the Swiss, which thankfully didn't melt so I could peal it off. Both came with relic chips, which are thinly sliced & wrapped around a skewer to be fried. Road-trips call for a little bit of fattening food -- it's the rule They had a great beer selection too, but sadly only 2 IPAs so we didn't have much of a choice in that department. read more

The pictures say it all! Seriously good food! Angel was amazing as a server and those cooks ROCK! I had the kids meal...needed to eat lite. Those little sliders were not treated as "nothing burgers" they made them as good as a grown up burger! The chips are so fun and crisp! Armadillo eggs are a specialty...I'm not the one to comment on them...my husband's remark was "YUMMY" And the "beer batter" zucchini is the best I've had in a long time. This place was literally across the street from the iconic streetcorner and got good Yelp reviews, so we tried it. A great place! Good ambiance, good service, and good food! I opted for the Rusty Chicken and really liked it. My only complaint? A bit on the expensive side. For four people, it was $75. I get it: this is a tourist trap, but go a little easier on my wallet. Late afternoon lunch. I had the Tuna Melt with green chilies. It was served on toasted sourdough bread. Yummo!!! The fries were okay. My husband had Chicken Tenders with onion rings. The onion rings were breaded and cooked to order, which were the star of the meal. Each bite of onion ring bit off perfectly without the onion pulling through or the crust falling apart. From the outside on a June Sunday afternoon, the place on the "corner" seemed a bit uninviting and uninteresting. We were hoping to catch a quick cold one before heading on. We were pleasantly surprised to open the door to a clean, hopping, establishment full of character and what seemed to be every person in town right now. Food looked amazing. My husband was drooling over the plates he saw going out. Unfortunately, we were not planning to eat, just drink. We were challenged on all the good apps choices offered. Decided to drive up to a Winslow, AZ and stand on a corner. We tried Relic Road Brewing for dinner. I am glad we did! There is a long wait for this place! It took us 30min to get seated for 2 of us. This is due to strong demand and limited capacity. And for good reason. One of the few trendy spots in Winslow and it's across from the famous corner. They have a good number of appetizers. We got the fried pickles and ranch. They were very tasty. I got the Hiss Papago Orange Blossom beer out of Tempe, AZ. It was very good for a lighter beer. Orange and vanilla flavoring that had absolutely no bitterness to it! My better half got the State 48 Cherry Sour beer. It was tart and a flavor was bursting with cherry (brewed in Surprise, AZ)! For main coarse we both got burgers. She got the Diablo burger and I got the Southwestern burger. Big we're absolutely excellent and bursting with flavor. Mine came on Texas Toast and hers came on a bagel. We both got the house made chips. I highly recommend them. Overall, this was a great find. Their burgers rival Handlebar Pub and Grill in Apache Junction, although Handlebar's grilled potatoes still take the best side award!
