The woman behind the bar, may have been the owner, was so kind, caring and attentive. She made conversation with me over my license from Colorado, asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving saying "have a nice day, Nate" Soooo sweet and kind. A true gem of a human. She even had regulars that she said "I told you when we were on that hike that I owe you a drink so this ones on me" freaking precious. Okay now that I'm done praising the owner/bartender. The food was exquisite too. I got a basic cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was cooked well and was enjoyed heavily and quickly haha. The cook even came by to check that I liked it as well. Very warm place with great food. Much enjoyed. The place was clean and kept up well. This was one of the first dive bars I had been to where they had slots and that was a bit of a twist. I didn't roll the dice on them as the only thing I gamble on is once a year and that the horses at the Kentucky derby. Keeps my gambling in line and doesn't upset the in-laws too much. If I visit Seaside OR again, I will absolutely find myself back here for another delicious burger and friendly interaction.

The same things you see on the stage behind the screen borders. Anything on the floor stays there where ever i look. They wipe tables but no sweeping , so popcorn, napkins , fries. I also researched cocktails in Seaside Oregon and this was the spot that kept coming up. I entered and was immediately greeted by the barkeep. She was friendly and made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. I chose the Moscow Mule since they are known for this yummy cocktail. It was made to perfection and even served in a legit hand hammered copper mug. I'd say the best Mule I've ever had. We talked about Wisconsin, cheese curds, ranch, the Packers, Lambeau Field and of course Seaside too. The barkeep even shared some photos. I can't wait to go back and watch the packer game here. It feels good to support a local business that makes everyone feel special. Do yourself a favor and get in here. Go Pack Go.

In fact it might've been my favorite beers of the five or six breweries We tried in the area.. the bartenders were great, had great recommendations and very friendly. Loved the old bars and the jail cell to include a skeleton jailbird. We will definitely be going back to Seaside brewing the next time we're in town.

They were definitely understaffed when we visited, which impacted the service and wait times. The highlight for me was the building itself. It is very cool that it is located in the old Seaside jail, and that unique setting adds a lot of character. If you are nearby and curious about the history or want a casual stop, it is worth checking out. Just go in with moderate expectations for food and service.

This place is AWESOME! It's so cool that wall with the taps on was the old city Drunk Tank. How cool is that?

Turns out they keep it raised until about 4 o'clock while they brew beer behind the theater, then the screen comes down later for basketball, games, and movies. Honestly, that just made me appreciate the place even more. I walk all over Seaside trying different spots, little hidden places, tourist places, all of it, and somehow this still ends up being my favorite lunch spot in town. The food never disappoints. Ever. The prices are shockingly good for what you get, and they somehow manage to get food out fast without sacrificing quality. What I love most is the space. Even when town is packed, you are not jammed in elbow to elbow with people. Families, kids, locals, everybody just looks comfortable there. Big open historic theater, great food, quick service, sports on the screen later in the day, and good atmosphere without the chaos. Screen up or screen down, this place is one of my favorites. Thanks guys for always being awesome.

Her Rib Eye Steak wasn't much to look at but she said that it was tender and tasty. The dog seemed to like what little she got of it. The Baked Potato was devoured in no time. My Admiral's Plate had numerous items on it but to me, it was very one-note. The breading seemed to be the same for all of the items and other than the scallops, everything pretty much tasted the same albeit with different textures. I would not order this dish again. Atmosphere wise, it was okay sitting upstairs on the deck. Only a few tables were occupied, one with a companion dog. Everyone was easygoing. The guy who delivered our food was friendly and courteous.
