At the recommendation of our server, I had the Louisiana Party Pasta. A spicy Cajun dish of chicken, andouille sausage,red peppers, broccoli and penne pasta in a bold Cajun sauce that is very unique and memorable. My wife had the chicken and waffles that were presented very well but not memorable. They have a cozy dining room an a really nice bar. Recently saw that Relish 670 is now open for breakfast/brunch Thursday-Sunday so my daughter and I decided to check it out for our Sunday brunch. We were greeted warmly and told to sit wherever as there weren't many people there when we arrived. They were playing great Ole Skool R&B music which was pleasing and appealed to a multicultural crowd. I ordered the Build Your Own Omelette and my daughter ordered the Double Up. To drink, we ordered Traditional Mimosas. The omelette and Double Up were good. However, the home fries were burnt and inedible. Also, the toast wasn't buttery and there was more orange juice than Prosecco/Champagne in the mimosas. We realize they were only on their second week of breakfast service when we visited so will definitely give them a second chance. read more

We stopped in for happy hour and ended up eating dinner. The bartender Judy, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive! I ordered the fried catfish and pork bellies which were delicious and not greasy at all. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it very much. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, which is the reason it is getting a second star. The southern menu was certainly a draw for me, but ultimately fell short of a few fronts. The bartender that waited on us was very kind but also very inexperienced. You could tell by the layout that the entire operation was inexperienced. We ordered burnt ends, which were not burnt ends but crispy pork belly. They were hardly sauced, which was a shame bc the sauce was quite good. The chicken and waffles was below average and the shrimp Po boy was decent. The food took longer than expected to be delivered to the table for how quiet they were. I ordered the peach cobbler to-go in hopes that a good dessert might leave me with a final good note. It was quite the opposite. I don't know what that was but it was a poor excuse for a peach cobbler and was the final straw that lead me to writing this review. I placed my first order with Relish 670 Bar on March 7, 2024. I placed an order for pickup and was told it would take 45 minutes for my food to be ready. I arrived 30 minutes later and to my surprise my order was ready. My food had been sitting waiting for pickup because the food was barely warm. Why was i told 45 minutes? When I looked at my food upon arriving home I was not a happy customer. As you can see from the pictures my food was burnt!!! Is this the quality of food a customer receives when an order is placed for pick up? I also ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it has no flavor. I don't usually say "never", but I will "never" support this establishment again!! If someone brings up this establishment it will not be recommended by me. read more

I was so looking forward to trying this place after reading the reviews online. When we got there, there were three other tables occupied. One was just finishing up their meal and the other two had just gotten there. The place was very cute. Our server/bartender was very attentive. She was the only one serving tables and bartending too. There were two people in the kitchen. It took forever to get our food. We ordered the pork burnt ends appetizer. They were extremely fatty and devoid of flavor. We didn't say anything, we figured we'd wait until our meal came and see if that was any better. I ordered the whole belly fried clams and my boyfriend ordered the teriyaki salmon and sticky rice bowl. The dinner came with brussels sprouts, which he asked to be eliminated. It took an hour before we even received our food. When they placed my clams in front of me, I knew immediately it was not going to be good. There was a handful of clams that were in a clump, all stuck together and hard as a rock. I couldn't even stick my fork into them. My boyfriends food came, and it had collard greens on the plate, which wasn't even supposed to come with with his meal. So he scraped the collard greens off his plate and onto another plate. No sooner did he do this the server came back and said, oh no, that's not your meal, here's your meal. The outside of his salmon was extremely hard as well. We then noticed that the server took the meal that wasn't his, and brought it back to the kitchen, only to have the cook, put another helping of collard greens on it, and deliver it to the gentleman at the table behind us! Now I'm pretty sure that this is a health code violation! Once a plate leaves the kitchen, and is set in front of a diner, regardless of whether it is touched or not, it is not allowed to be re-served to someone else at a different table! It is to be thrown away, and a new one made. But that wasn't the case it went into the kitchen and came back a minute later to the table behind us. Later we heard that gentleman say to the server that the collard greens were extremely salty. It was such a disappointment, especially because the menu has some pretty amazing items on it, but they're just not executed well by the kitchen staff. Our server was lovely and couldn't have been more apologetic. I hope they can work out these kinks, because I think it has the potential to be a really good place, if the food is prepared properly. read more

The manager should have been helping, instead was moving empty tables and walking around. Our sticks were under the heat lamp for 10 minutes. Manager blamed the bartender, which if he did HIS job properly there wouldn't have been this negative review. Tried take out last night and I was worried how fried food would stand up after the car ride home but it was excellent-- crispy and hot still when we got home! We thoroughly enjoyed the fried pickles, hush puppies, catfish nuggets, Brussels sprouts salad, and of course, the PB&J wings. My bf devoured them. We also tried the honey chipotle and onion/fig relishes which were both great and go well with cheese and crackers the next day. My absolute favorite of all though was the pecan bread pudding, just WOW. If you are being very covid-cautious right now, I would just note that the space is a bit small and was busy. Tried this restaurant tonight and we were very impressed. We had the fried pickles to start and they were very tasty. They came out piping hot with a flavorful creole dipping sauce. Not sure where the good reviewers usually go for dinner. This was not good. Seared salmon had a coating and the salmon was very thin. Looked frozen. When I could remove the coating the salmon was edible. Mashed potatoes were supposed to come with the meal. But they were out. So I had cole slaw. Which was edible. Tasted like sauerkraut that was white. Best part of the meal was the greens were asparagus. And that was delicious. I ate all of it. My friend had shrimp and grits. There was so much grits it was overwhelming. Shrimp were frozen precooked not even frozen raw. . Not worth the money. Didn't bring bread until we asked for it. Waitress was pleasant. Place is nice.
