She didn't ask about the date, the venue, or any personal details that might help guide the appointment--details that make this process feel special and tailored. My daughter had even submitted photos in advance of the dresses she was hoping to try, but when we arrived, none of those dresses had been pulled, and it seemed there was no record of what she had sent. It felt like we were just another appointment on the calendar, not real people shopping for one of the most important garments of a lifetime. Our group was small--just four of us--but we weren't offered a single refreshment. We watched other groups being served a variety of drinks while we were never even asked if we'd like a water. It may seem small, but in an environment meant to celebrate such a joyful moment, these details matter. Perhaps most frustrating was that we clearly communicated a budget of $5,000, and nearly every dress pulled for my daughter to try was significantly over that. Ignoring someone's budget not only adds unnecessary stress to an already emotional process, but it also shows a lack of respect for their preferences and financial boundaries. We had visited other bridal shops that treated our experience with care and enthusiasm. They made an effort to connect with my daughter and show genuine excitement for her big day. I recently had moved to Michigan and didn't have any recommendations, after finding Connie's I brought in my dress with only about 3 1/2 weeks before my wedding. She comforted me and made me feel like working on my dress in that time frame would be no problem. After about 3 weeks, she called and my dress was done early!! Refused to provide proof or call and talk to me, (Probably because she knew she was in the wrong and treating me poorly). Instead she emailed with a condescending, belittling tone. Proving she's much more comfortable with her 'see you next Tuesday' approach rather than a helpful one. Brides already have enough to worry about. You shouldn't have to worry about being scammed. Trust me, if you address it and ask for proof, they'll just let you know they could've charged more.

They had my favorites from Mori Lee, Maggie Sottero, and Allure. I contacted them several months early to reserve my appointment and they still had all of those samples by the time of my appointment, whereas other stores had sold all of them before I arrived. They ended up being out of power due to a totally random storm, but were apologetic and squeezed me in the day they opened back up and never made me feel rushed. My consultant was professional, would help me get in and out of dresses quickly, and wasn't pushy. They even had all the dresses I'd inquired about ready to go in my dressing room by the time I arrived! They did a good job with the clips, and though I'm not a tiny size, they made me look good in every dress I tried on. They were knowledgeable about potential alterations and even found the perfect veil for the dress I chose. I'm glad that they provide alterations on site. When I was deciding between 2 different dresses, multiple staff members voiced their opinion in a very helpful manner, discussing the style/theme/appropriateness for the venue.

She even brought my daughter's "top two" dresses in case she wanted to try them on again. My daughter fell in love with a dress in Zeeland and Madison was there every step of the way to help us in the process. It was music to my ears to hear my daughter laughing and having fun as shopping is not something she enjoys. Everything about this experience made her feel relaxed and beautiful.
