I will walk my trash over to the other building, so I don't have to take to the trash room on my floor. Parking is abysmal - if you're not paying for parking or if you have a guest coming, good luck. Theres packages everywhere. Pool is decent, I will say that is a plus. Some of the staff is good, most of the staff is useless. Considering what they're charging for rent - this place isn't worth the investment.

Terrible senior management - My car broke down overnight in the drop-off zone, and I immediately called and left multiple messages to inform them. Despite that, they towed my car without any warning. To make matters worse, the leasing office initially offered to help cover the towing bill but later backed out. There were no signs indicating the area was a tow zone. After two years of paying rent and being a responsible tenant, it was extremely frustrating to be treated this way at the end of my stay. 2. Cheap construction - extremely thin walls and ceilings with zero soundproofing from neighbors or city noise. 3. Constant maintenance issues - leaking pipes, broken floorboards, and frequent bug problems in the warmer months. 4. Unreliable elevators - at times completely out of service. 5. Outdated gym - a treadmill was broken for months without repair. 6. Disorganized package room - a chaotic mess with no real system. Time wasted digging through my neighbor's packages. 7. Inconsistent apartment temps - especially in winter, when heating settings couldn't be adjusted. 8. No sense of community - neighbors would speed dangerously through the drop-off zone. Pros: 1. Great location - close to downtown, which was very convenient. 2. Excellent maintenance staff - shoutout to Dario for always being helpful and responsive! 3. Nice rooftop - recently updated with new furniture and a great view. I initially took a tour with Sheila property manager who was welcoming and explains how entering works. She was so friendly and outgoing and can tell she enjoys her work. When the apartment I was taking was ready, Kaitlin assistant manager walked me through and took note of outstanding work that need to be done and made sure that was complete. Dario, Maintence manger is super friendly and welcoming and takes pride in the building and makes certain the residents are happy. He's very Responsive to work orders and couldn't be more helpful. The building manager Chris, treats you like a friendly neighbor. He goes above and beyond to make sure loose ends are tied up and is constantly on top of everything if there is ever any problems. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and usually comes sooner than 24 business hours to fix any problem we encounter. When we wanted to mount our TV to the wall and we asked for their assistance/recommendation to prevent damage, they exceeded our expectations in taking the time to work with us and even let us borrow some of their tools. The common areas of the buildings are well maintained. The free coffee in the main common room lounge is a godsend when you run out of coffee at home. When we first moved in here they gave us a housewarming box of goodies and they also have seasonal parties make living here more like a community. The sidewalks of the camelot property are groomed almost on a daily basis to remove debris. The gardens are updated every season and we get updated indoor entry way planters each season. Desk service with camera security make living less stressful knowing that my likelihood of having packages stolen or having a break in is rare. In addition, the free guest parking allows us to have family and friends over without the stress of finding parking for them. I have never had a pest problem once living here and all the common areas including the hallways are cleaned on a daily basis. In terms of negative things, there are few and far between to mention that we hadn't encountered or would encounter at another complex. Its fairly easy to hear people in the hallway or in other rooms in your own apartment unit but I have never encountered the noise of late night partiers. The gym is small but it is free to residents. The laundry occasionally will provide minor inconveniences like lost socks and clogs in the washers from people using pods. You can't control the heat in your apartment which kind of stinks but we have never had a problem where we were cold and if it does get too hot we usually just crack a window with no problem. All things considered, with all the small things this complex does for its residents, it far outweighs and makes up for the minor drawbacks it has and puts Camelot at a competitive price to nearby luxury complexes.

Despite being marketed as a well‑managed community, the reality fell far short of those claims. Management was incompetent and appeared incapable of operating the property at even a basic level. Issues were allowed to linger indefinitely, with little evidence of proactive oversight, organization, or accountability. Maintenance problems were constant throughout my time here. Elevators were frequently out of service for extended periods, garage entrances repeatedly broke and remained unfixed, and HVAC systems were unreliable. These were not isolated issues but recurring failures that directly interfered with daily life and convenience. Noise was another significant problem. The building has virtually no sound insulation, making it impossible to escape your neighbors. Hearing screaming children and excessive noise through the walls at all hours was common. To make matters worse, these same residents routinely filed noise complaints against others, despite the volume coming from their own unit--an issue management failed to address fairly or effectively. Amenities were underwhelming given the rent being charged. The fitness center was minimal, and management would suddenly impose restricted hours, further reducing the already limited value of the amenities. Overall, this building failed to deliver a reasonable living experience for the price. Between constant maintenance failures, incompetent management, excessive noise, and unreliable amenities, I would not recommend living here and would never rent from this management again.

First, they did not clean the apartment before move in. There was food debris on the refrigerator shelves. The floors were extremely dirty. Huge spiderwebs in the windows. Dead bugs everywhere. Years worth of dust and dirt on surfaces. Then, I had to send daily emails for 2 weeks for it to be partly cleaned. They did not want to clean the piled up dust from surfaces before my furniture was moved in 2.5 weeks after my lease started. DO NOT EXPECT YOUR APARTMENT TO BE CLEANED PRIOR TO MOVE IN! Second, Windsor also did not provide all keys to all the tenants until multiple emails and visits to the leasing/management office over this 2 week period. Third, the apartment floors are not well constructed and you can hear everything the upstairs tenants are doing. Every step, every door opening. Everything. You can also hear your neighbors conversations at times. Last and Even more concerning, they assigned a parking space (on my lease and on my move in paperwork) that was already assigned to another resident. I have been paying for someone else's parking spot and they are unresponsive on providing me any paperwork on another assigned parking spot. Multiple phone calls and emails without a response. DO NOT EXPECT TO RECEIVE WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR. The only positives about living here so far: the maintenance team is amazing. Super responsive, effective, and friendly. Neighbors are very friendly. Electricity has been a few dollars less over the same time period. At first the water was always cold. I didn't put in a work order because I've lived in situations where I had to bathe in freezing water every day (military barracks in Korea) and I just forced myself to deal with it. Most people probably wouldn't. What prompted me to write my review today is that I just got an email telling me that the rent due in less than 5 days suddenly needs to be paid with a personal check or cashiers check. I don't even know where I keep my checkbook anymore because I use it for literally nothing. It was a great convenience to have the ability to use my credit card to pay my bills, especially when I'm often traveling and have no other need to buy stamps or envelopes. The new process is going to cost me about $100 in additional time and costs beyond the convenience fee that I was expecting to pay since I'm going to be out of town when I'd ordinarily be paying. Also, it seems like the new management company sent a template letter informing us of the new ownership. Recieving a template letter (where the temlate parts weren't replaced and filled in) that looks like it's supposed to be a legal notice is highly disturbing because I'm not a litigious guy and poor record keeping on their part could change that in any number of ways really fast. It's bad enough that it looks like a scam letter with all the idiosyncrasies in it. Just one example- CambridgePark Drive instead of Cambridgepark Drive as the address. Will not be renewing. Too much risk.

The leasing office and maintenance are responsive Cons: 1. Utilities are too high and property management/ leasing office refuse to do anything about it. For a 2 bed/2 bath my average water bill was $85 for normal use ( e.g. - quick daily showers, wash clothes once a week or every other week etc). The electric bill was an average of $250 and closer to $400 in the winter months because heating is also electric. So if you actually like to be warm during the winter months keep that expense in mind. 2. The walls are paper thin, you will not hear your neighbors next to you but you can hear every foot step of upstair neighbors. Hopefully you don't have a family with young kids above you, unfortunately I did. And the leasing office did nothing about it. 3. When I moved out, I was charged for scratches on the stove and +$200 was deducted from security deposit for "damages" so be aware that they will do anything to take out of security deposit if and when you move. 4. Although the apartment complex is nice, I believe the rent is overpriced and charging $100 for parking is also too much considering how much renters pay in rent; ultimately its not worth it and renters can find apartments just as nice that don't have as high rent and better located.

The current management has been great from my experience so far and Matt and Ryan in the leasing office are phenomenal! They smile and greet you as you walk by and are very approachable and quick to address any questions or issues. The apartment itself is very nice with an open floor plan and new, brand-name appliances. Side note - the water pressure in the showers is amazing. There are some great amenities like game rooms and a well-rounded gym. They also have work from home spaces and a kid's play room. Outside there is a fenced-in dog run to let your dog off leash. Some owners don't pick up after themselves but that's the same anywhere you go unfortunately. The place as a whole is very pet friendly and I see a lot of dogs around. Also, it's just a 5 minute walk to Millennium Park which is a great spot to walk your dog. Did I mention there's literally a dog daycare across the street and it's one of the nicest ones I've seen? For parking, there's assigned spaces outside in the lot and inside the garage. They also have 4 electric vehicle charging stations (8 spaces) which is a huge bonus. You pay for your parking spaces but the charging station is free so it's not so bad. Although no apartment building is perfect, I can say that I'm very happy with Oak Row overall and I'd highly recommend it!
