Throughout the appointment, he aggressively tapped or smacked my hand instead of communicating, seemed irritated when I didn't immediately understand what he wanted, and handled my fingers roughly enough to make me uncomfortable. I was also charged $10 more than I was quoted. I called beforehand and was told a plain set would be $55, but I was charged $65 without anyone explaining the additional charge. The ambivalent disregard for the inconvenience to clients is honestly ridiculous. The automated booking and text system also makes communication nearly impossible. Good luck trying to call and reach an actual person to resolve an issue. When appointments are canceled last minute, I have been told the next available appointment is a month or more out. I've had appointments canceled when I was already due for service, only to be told I couldn't be seen again for a month to a month and a half. This is absurd considering the cancellation was not my fault. Even more concerning is that the salon keeps clients' credit cards on file, yet I have still been unable to reach anyone to confirm that my information has been removed. It's especially frustrating as a long-term client who has always shown up on time, tipped well, and been flexible when scheduling issues came up. At times, it feels as though clients are treated like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. At this point, the lack of professionalism and reliability has simply become ridiculous. I have used multiple services at this salon, but I will be taking all of my business elsewhere. As a long-time Santa Clarita resident, I cannot in good faith recommend this salon to my colleagues, friends, or family. I've unfortunately advised people I know to take their business elsewhere. It's disappointing to see what appears to be a once good salon decline to this level of disorganization and poor communication.
