I visited the store to make my final selections, and Dean personally assisted me with the order, and arranged for it to be delivered that afternoon. My parents were so very appreciative to finally have some comfortable sofas to sit on! I did not have high hopes for the condition or appearance of rental furniture, but the inventory at this location was very nice and contemporary with lots of items that were brand new, and even the "used" pieces were very clean and like new. Would highly recommend this location for any furniture rental needs!

After shopping around by phone for a few days (during which Marigrace S. called me 3 times) I conceded and agreed to rent from her. She said that she needed my DOB, driver's license number and my SS#. I told her I was not comfortable giving her my SS# but was informed that I could not rent without it. When the delivery men arrived (2-1/2 hours past the given time frame), the paperwork they gave me to sign had my DOB, driver's license number and my SS# on it! It seems that Marigrace S. is only concerned about protecting her identity by not putting her full last name on the paperwork, but has no concern for my privacy even after my expressed concern over it. This is a clear violation of my trust and personal information. It should have legal ramifications. Shame on you Marigrace S.!

NO one came but the next day we had another notice that they stuck in my door. I called again and gave them another time frame and they still never showed up. BUYER BEWARE!!! this place is up to some really shady practices and if you speak to a fella named Dean there he is the slimiest head liar in this entire place. You much better going to put furniture on layaway then coming here. As I am still going through this entire hell with them I will update on how this turns out. my next step is reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and also contacting their corporate office.

Most items have been in show homes or staged houses with very little wear, then they are sold to customers like us who need a few or many items delivered quickly. They have a website so you can see the styles and colors before, or instead of, visiting the showroom. They have new items, too, it just depends what you need. The styles lean towards a modern feel, think lobby furniture, but Chad helped us find a softer look that has been very popular with the elderly clientele at assisted living. I recently purchased 2 custom couches for my home at $3,000 each; the couch Mom got from CORT was less than $500 with as good, perhaps better, workmanship than my brand new couches! The guys in the warehouse were so accommodating and helped me hold up Mom's paintings and take pictures for her to help decide between several chair options. She was able to visualize the arrangement from her hospital bed (!). Above and beyond in my opinion. If you need one item to fill out your room or an entire household, and you cannot wait for traditional furniture store lead times of 4 months or more, consider checking out CORT Furniture's website &/or warehouse full of furniture ready for delivery in a day or two. We were apprehensive, but now we are sold on this unique concept of recycling quality showroom furniture at a reasonable price.

Not only the wrong couch, but also used and the history was that it came from a home of pets and was filthy! Second - they DESTROYED our front door frame shoving the wrong couch through it. Received correct couch only the store associate gave me the wrong measurements - by a foot! They will continually get your paperwork wrong, including your pay days for payment arrangements. Call you and your references like the FBI - expect you and your references to receive at least 10 calls a day... sometimes they even hung and call back back to back. Every time I call to pay my bill I get a different amounts due - then get placed on hold for long periods will they "investigate" and then they'll play confused and adjust the amount to the correct amount you signed up for to pay. It's awful, dirty furniture and even worse customer service. I wish I had never signed a dam contact!! Do yourself a favor and AVOID this store!! The manager is Eddie. Please note my attached photo- Consumer Affairs gives this place 1 Star.

His evaluation was similar to a commercial heating company, although much more affordable, and he was more than willing to perform the service that day. He and his coworker were extremely proficient, efficient, kind and courteous, and they completed the installation. They hauled out the old furnace, and cleaned up after themselves. One way to tell whether or not you've done business with a good company is how they treat you when things don't go swell; case in point: I recently rented a Vermeer Dingo and threw the tread while in my creek (my fault). They dispatched their onsite maintenance team to fork it out with a T590, and then left the T590 behind for me to use (about 3x capacity). Because of their promptness and courtesy, I was still able to place 76 yards of fill dirt and contour it before the (vestigial hurricane) torrential rains came this weekend. This was a big deal because that dirt was placed to stop my home from flooding due to the nearby creek.

Doing so I've experienced many break downs, accidental rental reservation headaches the day of pickup and the lack of care and service from other rentals. So many negative experiences lead me to now rent ONLY from Central Tool for ALL my rentals no matter the distance. Their equipment is always updated, clean, and fully operational as expected rental after rental. No BS, they are upfront with the costs and willing to do what they can to load, unload and most of all they take the time to build a relationship. Central Tool Rental should be rated teh best rental ever! if you don't think so you might be stupid or just a dumb individual that can't operate machinery bigger than a weed eater! I took a chainsaw in for repairs May 25th. Heard nothing for six weeks so called them. They were "shocked" no one had called me and it wasn't done. "We'll have it done tomorrow," they said. Went in to pick it up 10-days later... they hadn't touched it and still no call. "Our service manager is back tomorrow. We'll have him call you to remedy this." It's now 12-weeks later. No calls, no work done. I called to say I'm picking it up tomorrow and got simply, "That's fine." Literally a crap show. Stay far, far, FAR away from this place!
