I've planned and managed several Marketing events, so I can vouch that the team at Owl Vision is bar none. From lighting to sound to general aesthetic / atmosphere, Owl Vision made our backyard wedding come to life in ways I never imagined. The team did multiple site visits to ensure that we were set up properly with power and that they could provide exactly what we needed (and more) for both the aesthetic, but also for the coordinating team, bartenders, and catering team. Owl Vision worked with our vendors throughout the process, so we didn't even have to coordinate things like arrival times and timelines. The team worked with us so personally days before the event, setting up and customizing the lighting and sound to make sure it reflected our vision. We ran several test runs at dusk and in the evening with them. When our vineyard lights didn't dim, David (owner of Owl Vision) went out and personally picked up dimmers at the store days before our event. During our wedding, we had 4 tea, members running our event: a manager, an MC, a DJ, and a lighting designer. I cannot speak highly enough of this team, who worked in the background to run the reception perfectly. Their setup was not intrusive and they were working efficiently in the background with our coordinator to monitor the timeline. We, as a couple, are big into music and were very nervous about how the night would turn out for us and our family / friends. DJ Tav Tal played exactly what we had hoped for and even accommodated all of our last-minute requests as the night evolved. The team stayed well beyond contract and even helped us turn our wedding into a silent disco. Owl Vision management stayed to make sure the silent disco was working (until well after midnight) and then arrived promptly at 10:00am the next morning to clean up. If you are looking to host an event, no matter what the occasion, do not sleep on Owl Vision. I underestimated how much lighting can transform an event and I feel so lucky to have worked with the incredible team who K N O W S LIGHTS AND MUSIC. Guests continue to rave to me about how special the atmosphere was at our event, predominantly due to Owl Vision's excellent work.

We hired her for day-of wedding coordination services, but really starting from a couple months out, Jessica was such a vital part of our wedding preparation process. Working with her you can always expect enthusiasm, preparedness, professionalism, and organization. I am incredibly type A as I used to work in event planning as well, and she gave me the space to be detail-oriented and specific while still offering so much support, advice, and flexibility. I didn't have to worry about the tiniest things because Jessica was already there solving it or picking up the pieces (literally - during our wedding someone dropped and shattered glass on the dance floor and within 2 seconds Jessica was sprinting towards it with a broom & dustpan). Every Zoom meeting we had left us feeling calm, peaceful, and confident in our wedding planning process.  Our actual wedding day was executed perfectly. When hiccups or delays inevitably occur, she handles them with calm and immediate problem-solving that literally no one can tell there was a hiccup at all. Her timelines are impeccable. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and still am in awe with how perfectly everything looked and ran. She communicated with all our vendors and guests with clarity and respect and was the glue that made all the components of our day come together cohesively. All our decorations were placed perfectly. We had a complicated wedding that required a complete flip of the room from ceremony to reception -- and it was all done seamlessly. Aside from her immense skill, poise, and grace as a master planner, I also cannot stress enough how GREAT of a person Jessica is - trust me when I say that your wedding day is so much more satisfying and memorable when the vendors you work with are good human beings who are genuinely excited for you - and that's exactly what Jessica is. She was very COVID-conscious and made us feel extra safe every time we met in person as well. She went above and beyond for us and she will always be such a positive memory from our day. :) Also, you're not going to find more reasonably priced wedding coordinators/planners in the Bay Area with the skill level Jessica has. No one left the dance floor that night, and I remember thinking: this is the guy for my wedding, 100%. I actually called him a year before my wedding just to make sure he was available and he booked my date right away! DJ Gagan is super chill and really easy to work with. We had a few Zoom meetings leading up to the big day, and he was always on time and prepared. We gave him a few must-play songs, and he was like, "Don't worry, I got you!"--and he really did. His music taste is spot on. We're into EDM, Bollywood, and hip-hop, and he blended everything so well during the wedding reception. The energy was nonstop. People were dancing all night! Although we did not purchase a full package from TDE, Carina and Jackson worked seamlessly with the rest of our chosen vendors. They (and the TDE team) were extremely organized, communicative, and supportive. One thing I really appreciated was that my husband was cc'd on every single email so that I wouldn't have to play middle man to relay every message to him as well. On the day of, Carina and Jackson went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. They were so thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire process. We got so many compliments from our family members about Jackson's MCing. Our wedding party also really loved how Carina kept everyone organized and on schedule. It was easy to schedule a free consultation,…read morewhere we first spoke with Otis, and could ask many questions up front before deciding to move forward. Otis was kind with great attention to detail from the start. Ultimately, we decided with the glam package and our contract was very clear to understand with cost breakdown for removal of specific services / add-ons. I updated it many times with Jessica, our planner, as we made changes throughout the months, and she was always so patient and clear. Our MC Otis did a wonderful job with maintaining flow of the program. Otis was also working as DJ for a good portion of the evening, so props to him! We had closer to an hour compared to 1.5 hours of open dancing because we were behind schedule, but everybody was on the dance floor and he kept the party going seamlessly. Weddings are hectic and there are so many moving parts; we did get behind schedule but we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. Our photo & video services were set to end, but Otis was very professional in discussing with us if we wanted to extend our video services, communicative on additional cost, at the moment. Our photographer, Ben, along with the team Stanford and videographer, Christina, were so fun to work with. Ben was great at providing direction, which is especially helpful since we were not used to posing. I have not received photo & video yet as it has only been a week, but from an experience standpoint, they were attentive to detail, communicative, and glided effortlessly through the event. My makeup artist, Vivi, is the sweetest person. She was super attentive to detail and my particular skin type. I was worried about makeup because I don't wear heavy makeup often. I ended up paying for a make-up trial, and I was so happy working with Vivi that I had no worries for the wedding day. We also added-on make up for our mothers, which Vivi did the morning of. The reception decor turned out so pretty! Everything was set-up as scheduled. I was really happy with the welcome backdrop and name sign. It was also great to take pictures with guests with the backdrop since we had time during cocktail hour. We asked TDE to incorporate a large screen as the backdrop of our sweetheart table, so we found an example from a previous wedding they did, and it turned out exactly as expected. We added the photo-booth, which was so popular with the guests! There were so many cool props and our guests were having tons of fun with it. I also sent TDE a custom drawing that I wanted for the photo strips- and it turned out just like I imagined. We chose Grand Dynasty as our reception venue, and TDE communicated set-up details with our restaurant event manager, Esmond, in the days leading up to the event.
