The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza just tastes like Miracle Whip. Its terrible. I can't stand that taste and it overpowers everything else. The crust was good. It had a large amount of chicken the cheese seemed good. Everything else was fine. But that Miracle Whip was a terrible choice. Had a grandma's slice and a regular pepperoni which were both good. Pasta was good. Stuffed garlic knots were good. Even had some decent soup. Just dont get the CBR!!! read more

Ordered a large pie half meatball, half sausage, brought it home and the pie was undercooked with waaay too much cheese and the sausage was sliced into slivers, julienned, not good. Let me start off by saying the pizza was standard LI fare and probably warrants 3 stars but the service brought it down quite a bit. The mother in law ordered a few pies, garlic knots and a calzone for a party at the nursing home/rehab center a block away. Unfortunately the woman taking the order did not hear our order correctly at all. None of the plain pies were put in the order and the number of garlic knots was doubled! The place tried to argue that she never ordered the plain pies but we all heard it. The hubby had to wait an extra 15 min for the left-out pies to be cooked. Renzos is a pizzeria I've been visiting since my childhood back in the 80's! I used to eat here with my family as a child! I feel that their regular slices are very good. The combination of cheese, bread, and sauce is pleasant to eat! It's not overly spicy, but could use more sauce. Please make the regular slices even larger. My favorite item to purchase would be their Sicilian slices! It's better than most other Sicilian slices I've tried from other pizzerias. It reminds me of a pizza turned into a baked bread. I think it's really good. The bread is usually nice, and thick. The sauce is good, as well as the cheese. It's surely my favorite pizza to purchase. It just needs more olive oil to keep the bread/cheese from drying out. I used to know the original owners of this restaurant very well! The new owner(Roberto) is very nice too. I went into a local pizzeria and noticed the smell right away. I was expecting the smell of tomato sauce, garlic and basil, but what i got was definitely not a pleasant odor. Nevertheless, i ordered shrimp scampi. The person behind the counter asked if i wanted red sauce. I replied no. I want scampi sauce. She replied many people want it with red sauce, to which i replied...then that is NOT a scampi sauce. I know i should have left at that point, but i didn't. When i got home with my order, i noticed no scampi sauce just oil and garlic. My shrimp was very under cooked and the pasta was overcooked. My first time there will be my last. read more

Honestly... their pizza's fine but my brother just paid over $10 for a small salad that was nothing but lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber (which were both translucent and rotted) and 2 tomatoes with some chicken. Literally the saddest salad I've ever seen and I was looking forward to a salad all day at work hence why my brother had brought me one. Never in my life felt the need to post a review, until today. I've paid over $15 for salads in the past but those salads were overflowing with content and worth that price. When I asked my brother what he paid for this he told me I didn't even want to know. Love Renzo's. I've been eating their pizza since I was a teenager. I've seen pizza places come and go in this town; the one down the block from my old house went out of business and reopened 5 or 6 times over the course of a few years. Every time I come to E.I. to see my family and we order pizza, we always get Renzo's. My favorites are the spinach pizza: chopped spinach with garlic and mozzarella on a sesame seeded crust, and the grandma's pie: chunks of roasted garlic, fresh basil and tomatoes, with mozzarella and romano on a very thin crisp crust. And their regular pie is also amazing. There's a reason why they are probably the only pizza place that has lasted this long in East Islip. read more

Renzo's delivers consistent quality in every circumstance. So while there are places I'd rather go to for a slice, when I'm ordering a full pie (or more than one) Renzo's is the place. Some of my favorites are the Chicken Bacon Ranch slice, Cheese steak hero with peppers onions and mushrooms. Very delicious greasy garlic knots. Not to mention they sell Vanilla Coke and Cherry Dr. Pepper.
