IPhone 17 Pro Max - Screen and back repair…read more Accidentally dropped a weight on my phone and had to get it repaired. Screen was cracked, back glass was cracked and frame was a but dented. Came across Smart Fix and was bit skeptical but reached out. I was able to get immediate response back and he was very transparent on his work. Due to the recent model of the phone, OEM screen sales were just not worth it due to the price and labor cost. basically paying half of the price of what I paid for the phone and thats not including the back glass. So I settled with a soft OLED aftermarket screen for a fraction of it. Pricing to fix both the front screen and back was half the price of what I would pay for a OEM screen alone not including labor fee. After installing, the aftermarket soft OLED. I haven't ran into any issues yet. Face Recognition works, no lags, no dead particles. The only noticeable change from OEM and aftermarket is the screen Bezel size which isn't a deal breaker for me. I watched him fix my phone and he ran through every step. I heard some reviews from other establishments being sneaky writing reviews on their business without the customers knowing or logging into your personal information and etc some horrifying things that invade your privacy. But with this establishment, he was kind and nice and did a great job! I will update after 3 months to see the progress of the screen.

I called CIR and they said since the camera lenses were intact, it would be $110. Jose worked on it for me. When I went to pick it up, he explained to me how he fixed it. I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone. This place is awesome. I have an Iphone3G, it got broken & didn't know what happened it just restarted & the apple logo just appeared for the longest time then "install sim card" appeared. There was sim card installed but the iphone couldn't recognize it anymore. I went to 3 different cellphone repair shops & none of them could figure out what was wrong with my iphone.The other shop even told me that they're just gonna buy my iphone for $50 since it's irepairable anymore, & the other shop told me that they're gonna fix the part where you insert the sim. I almost gave up then finally went online, looked for other iphone repair shops near my place. I lived in Anaheim then I found this place in Fullerton & gave it a shot. And voila, Roy made a miracle & fixed my hopeless Iphone. I couldn't believe it at first & then we he opened it coz I thought there's a water moist inside the screen, he said the words "oh my god" the inside part is disaster, one of the repair shop i went to almost ruined my Iphone. Saw this place here on Yelp and decided to check based on prior reviews. I broke the glass face on my iPhone *sob* just like the others that have written reviews. Don't worry...all is not lost. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF by getting this service done at the Apple store. Got the service done here for a fraction of what Apple Care quotes---$199 Great service here. Had my phone back to new condition in 10 minutes. He even offers other "upgrades" for the iphone for a nominal fee(inquire within) I'll be back to have my GF's iphone upgraded too :) Cool hobby shop in store...if you're into that kind of thing :) A+++++ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! This place is great! They can fix any Apple device and fix any problem you could have. They mainly specialize in iphone repair but the technician is very skilled and can fix macbooks, ipads, ipods, and computers as well. ROBOT4LESS is a fantastic store. They fixed my ipod touch 4g screen. My screen had shatterd after i dropped it. The wait for my ipod touch was five hours, most people say it takes 10-20 minutes. The man said that they where very busy so it would take longer but its VERY GOOD serivce. They are really bad giving me update on the repair. They had my iPad Pro for 2 week, could not repair it and retuned it without putting thing back together. When I took it to the other shop, they noticed all the wires were disconnected and screws were missing inside the iPad Pro. Don't go here, they will completely destroy your iPad. read more

I took it to this authorized Google repair location expecting to discuss my warranty options. Instead, the staff repeatedly told me they could not repair it "per Google's guidelines." I kept asking clarifying questions, because it wasn't much of an explanation. Why wouldn't a swollen battery be not not covered, I never received a clear explanation beyond that same repeated statement. What made the experience especially frustrating was being told immediately afterward that they could repair the phone out-of-pocket for around $500. This left me wondering: if the phone is physically repairable, why is it ineligible for a warranty repair? Whether there is a legitimate policy reason or not, no one explained it to me. I also asked for documentation, such as a diagnosis, notes, or any paperwork I could review later to discuss with Google directly. The staff refused to provide anything unless I opened a paid repair ticket. Since a $500 repair was not economically reasonable, I declined. I left with no documentation, no clear explanation of the diagnosis, and no guidance on my next steps. My disappointment is not that they could not perform the warranty repair if Google's policies genuinely prevented it. It is that I never received a clear explanation and left feeling dismissed rather than helped.
