Now, before you blast me for even having an AM/FM radio from the mid-90s, you should know this radio has received "cult" status among DXers for its ability to pull in far-away AM stations from across the country. As a DXing hobbyist, in Houston I normally pull in AM stations from as far north as Chicago, west to Salt Lake City and Denver, all states across the Gulf Coast to Florida, up to Nashville (and everywhere in between). I have even pulled in two AM stations in Cuba. OK. Back to the broken analog tuning knob. I took the radio to Ron's because it was close and I was hoping it could be repaired. He told me it was probably the dial pulley on the inside of the radio, and said it would take a couple days. The next day he called and told me it was ready! Fast service, very reasonable cost, and the radio worked as good as new!

While I was there, the employee was chewing tobacco and even offering drugs, which made me very uncomfortable. I brought my PS5 in because the HDMI port needed to be repaired. I was told it would take about 30 minutes, but it ended up taking almost 4 hours. Just two days later, the same problem came back. I was told the repair was covered under warranty, but when I contacted them, they refused to honor it. I took my PS5 to another repair shop for a second opinion, and they told me the previous repair had been done incorrectly. They found that 25 of the 32 screws were missing, leaving only 8 screws in the console, and one of the internal plates was also missing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. The poor workmanship, lack of professionalism, and failure to stand behind their warranty were very disappointing.

When they replace the back plate, they messed the flashlight of the phone, so for second time I left my phone in the store to fix the issue they create. First red flag, the edge of the phone on the back part was with scratches and marks all over I imagine when they they replace the back the first time, the manager or person in charge of the store told me that he will fix that this time. So they proceed and open the phone and did the repair for the flashlight. After a couple of they the phone was "ready" and apparently everything was working properly until I try to pay with apple pay or use the wallet ( the sensor for that wasn't working), then went to a concert try to use the phone as a ticket no working, went to the store for the third time, he told no worries sorry for that and bla bla bla. They "fixed" and when they gave the phone back the sensor was not working. Fourth time to the store to fixed that but this time was worse. The person that was working in there was fired and they told they will take care of the problem. Today when I try to pick my phone after being in the store for 5 days. He told me the technician told him that was a problem with the mother board and if I want to fixed will be $150 for a issue they create. Believe he is the tech and owner. Seems like a bright guy and I love to support small businesses. Initial thought was a corrupt windows issue. $40 diagnostic. Issue was more complex. Ended up replacing the motherboard, cpu, fan, and upgrading the ssd. Total new money $730 of which I think $180. Not sure if it is a fair/good/great deal? Updated what was allowed today but system is requiring me to activate windows for which I was not given a key. Awaiting response via online chat as computer is not functional as is. Holding off on final review. *Received windows key quickly. All appears to be running. If this transaction concludes well I do have other projects to get down and love referring friends and family.

My ps5 scuf control has been having stick drift for about 5 months now and it finally became too unbearable. Instead of sending it in to scuf and paying approx $100-150 after them having the controller for over 6-8 weeks, I was more than happy that Robert was able to fix the stick drift for more than half that price and same day. He replaced my joysticks with TMR joysticks which will be incredibly less prone to get stick drift and even it does, I can recalibrate the joystick magnets to fix the stick drift myself. I always respect Robert's business and the knowledge he has. I will always recommend him to solve to your problem.
