I had a slab leak in my house and it was such a chaotic experience dealing with different contractors and insurance to fix the issue, not to mention the huge costs associated with the fix. Out of all the San Diego plumbers I talked to, a repipe was the option everyone recommended to avoid breaking all the tiles in my hallway. At first, I tried to work with one of the well-known plumbing companies in San Diego. We had the best experience with Radi and his team at Repipe Ontime. I could write pages about everything we liked. After getting quotes from two other companies, Radi stood out because he was completely upfront and honest about the challenges, including having to remove two large tiles in our beautiful and perfect shower. Because he told us ahead of time, we purchased the exact materials he would need to install 2 new tiles. He assured us he could install them perfectly, and he did--the shower looks exactly as it did before. Radi also insisted on doing the job the right way by obtaining a city permit and passing inspection, unlike another company that suggested skipping it because it might add delays. Having a water leak next to the driveway (it was under the concrete of the driveway) was stressful enough. We had a different plumber come out and perform a leak test and they recommended a new main line replacement which not only would have been very costly, but would have left us with concrete repair and irrigation repair (since it was connected to the original main line) which would add to the costs.
