We've been going to this place for a number of years and the local Brazilian steak house. This local restaurant really does great with the concept. You start off with a salad bar. It'll have traditional items. But they also have some not so common items, which are really very good. Try the onion salad. I know, sounds crazy. But the yellow sauce on it...it's really quite good. The star of the show is when the skewers of meat come out! They bring around about 10-12 different items. They cut a piece off and you grab it with your tongs. From filet, to sirloin, to ribeye....all cooked with certain (different) flavor profile. Then there are other items like sea bass, chicken, sausage, bananas and pineapple. Eat as much as you like. Sit there and graze while conversing with friends and family. It's a very casual way to dine and visit. read more

We went there for my husband's birthday. It was awful. There was too much confusion at the inital sitting. The chair I was given had one leg too short. The food was awful. They put sugar on most of their meats, either directly or in a sauce/marinade. They add it to things like "sweet potate" fries, why? We were told we had one server but we had three. Each time the food came around they missed us until my son in law complained. Most of the meat was rare which I can't eat. I asked if I could have medium and they brought out charbroil to tough to eat rocks. The chicken legs were overcooked. I couldn't cut them with a knife. The cutters gave you tiny pieces of meat. The only meat I could eat was the two teaspoons of parmesan chicken I got which tasted sweet. Even the sea bass was coated in sugar. None of this is listed on menu or website. There is a broken mirror in the ladies room. The bathroom was filthy. The stall door I was in had a broken latch. The staff had many excuses. But in all the experience was not worth returning or recommending. For the amount of money we paid it definitely wasn't worth it. I left hungry and upset. Oh, where to start. Our dining adventure this evening was quite the rollercoaster, and not the thrilling kind. We should've known something was off when the parking lot was practically deserted, but we remained hopeful. The evening began on a high note. A friendly lady welcomed us as we walked in, and we were seated promptly. The restroom was clean and well-stocked, and the staff were attentive and polite. They even had ample parking. So far, so good! And then, we arrived at the salad bar... My excitement quickly plummeted once I began browsing the options. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that all the dishes for the chilled food were warm, straight from the high-heat dishwasher. Chilled plates for a salad bar anyone? Apparently not in this establishment. Trying to put cold veggies on a hot plate was just the beginning. As I navigated the salad bar, it became evident that most of the offerings were previously canned, jarred, or pre-packaged. Homemade? Not here. The "hot" section of the salad bar continued to disappoint. Untoasted sliced bread? Check. A container of unidentifiable greasy brown sludge with no label? Check. I truly have no idea what was in that middle container aside from an enormous amount of grease. Now onto the soups. Not an actual soup spoon to be found, but are we really surprised at this point? I opted for the tomato soup, which ended up basically just being a bowl of water with some sad tomatoes and no real flavor to report. And finally, we arrive at the reason we came, the meat. I prefer my meat well-done and mentioned this when we arrived. Throughout our meal, it was a struggle to get any meat that was even remotely well-done. When they did bring some out, it was mostly fat and gristle. I only actually ate 2 small slivers of meat since I kept being served gristle, so that was also disappointing, but par for the course at this point. The Parmesan fries were decent, when they arrived immediately after being cooked. The fried banana was okay, and chimichurri sauce was genuinely good, but that's where the positives end. I paid $32 plus tax for a salad and two bites of meat--never again. The moment we arrived, I told my husband this place felt like a low-budget Texas De Brazil, and I wasn't wrong. It's the Great Value version of a better product, and I won't be back. Oh and let's not even mention the free California roll we were offered at this Brazilian restaurant, made with imitation crab of course . We passed on that, needless to say. It seemed like they made every effort to offer the lowest quality meal possible, almost deliberately. The value here does not justify the cost. I cannot be more disappointed in a restaurant. I have driven by ReRico many times off of 65 and have been like, "I can't wait to try it!" I've been to many Brazilian grills before and have enjoyed them every time. NOT THIS PLACE!!! First, we sat and gave a simple instructions to the server of sweet ice tea and a soda water with lime when asked what we'd like to drink. Simple right?! Nope she didn't bring our drinks and said that she forgot where she put her paper she wrote them down. Umm, she never wrote it down. Next, it took her an extra 5 minutes to bring a sweet tea with no ice and a glass of ice with lemons NO SODA WATER!! Then stopped her again, and I swear she was on something... Said it three times soda water with limes... finally she did.. the lines were rotten!! I can't make this up!!! Next, the meat we were served was bone dry and fatty.. they did have lots of seafood options, but this is a "cut" the meat of the skewer type of place. After about 10 mins of getting about four options of dry meat; we had had it!! We asked for our bill! The bill came to about 70.00 bucks and I wasn't going to leave any kind of tip, but having been a server, I know that a small tip came speak volumes. I left $5.00 bucks. Also, as the server, that's the only thing you do is serve drinks at this place. As we were leaving, the woman taking the money saw what we left for a tip and actually said, "That's not much of a tip!" OUT LOUD!! Rude!!!!!!!! So we mentioned why we left the tip we did. Wow! Where do I start. We made reservations for 6:30 because it was my husband's birthday and the whole experience was awful. We were seated on time, but that was the only positive occurrence. As soon as I sat down at the table I immediately noticed how nasty and greasy the menu was. I could literally see whole finger prints with the ridge detail. Lol, made me have flashbacks when I was latent print certified on the police force. Our drink order was taken where we all decided on sweet tea. The tea was a mango tea and it tasted like dirt and No, I'm not exaggerating. So we all ordered different drinks where I asked for a sprite and was given the knockoff version "Starry". While our drinks were being filled Mom and I headed to the salad bar. Everything was almost empty, the options were sparse and while waiting for the young children in front of us to move forward I observed them using their hands to eat right out of the bowls. Loosing interest immediately I was staring at the employee literally standing right next to the kids filling the ranch dressing and red onions never mentioning anything. I observed soups against the wall getting excited to see lobster bisque only to be disappointed. It wasn't lobster bisque and tasted like Tostitos cheese dip you can buy in a jar at the grocery store heated up. Now, looking forward to the main course and trying a small piece of everything I didn't even finish the pieces because the meat was tough and flavorless. I asked for some steak sauce, A1 to be exact, to help the meat out, but I was given a watered down something that was No where near A1. Husband got a chicken leg and he said not to even bother because it was dry as the bone. Oh, Wait.... I will say this.... The fried shrimp was tasty!! If the shrimp wasn't good; then I would've only given one star. Also, we didn't realize until we got home we weren't served any sides..... Lastly, we were offered dessert hopeful that something would be good and again disappointment set in. The cream brûlée was vanilla pudding with burnt sugar on top. While watching the I'm assuming manager sitting at the front desk playing on his phone the family decided that we would never return and left hungry and super disappointed. There were 4 of us Saturday night with a 7:30 reservation. We waited 10 minutes which is fine. But we only got 3 glasses of water because they said they ran out. Then we also only got three tongs because they also ran out of those. When I went to the salad bar the salad plates were dirty and I had to let the girls at the front desk know. We've visited Rerico several times in the past and it's always as we expected. Kind of a McDonald's experience, you always get the consistency. For the first time, when we just visited late June, 2019, they offered sushi as a....side? Appetizer? It's a California roll and y'all I'm a sushi lover, let me tell you these were some of the best rolls I've had in A LONG time. See attached photo. The roll was well formed, tasted really good, with a crunchy top. The meat was as expected. What I find a shame is that they don't use the best meat, in my opinion. There always seems to be quite a bit of fat, sinew, and gristle. It is offered as raw as you want it. The salad bar is one of the biggest you'll find anywhere. Salads, mixes, veggies, mussels, pasta, etc. If I really had to complain about anything it's the cheaper cuts off meat that you have to cut through, the bacon wrapped around the skewered chunks they offered was not cooked well, and the meatloaf was a little off-putting. This is strictly nitpicking. The service was excellent, the refills came often without asking and the atmosphere is awesome. This wasn't our first and won't be our last visit. read more

First time trying a Brazilian grill and it did not disappoint. I'm not a huge meat eater, which seems to be what the majority of their menu is, so I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of sides that came around. Definitely try the grilled pineapple! Took a coworker here today around 4. We both haven't ate anything, so we were starving. Were were the first table and only table around this time. California roll: definitely didnt taste like any other cali roll. The roll it self was breakable by touch, so a little messy. Don't know how or where this comes from. Felt a little left field for a brazilian steakhouse. Asparagus and lobster bisque: definitely prefer my asparagus warm. The bisque was amazing. Now attempting to jog by memory, garlic chicken was ok but didn't fall in love. Sweet potato and garlic parm fries: nice and flavorful. Lemon pepper fried shrimp: i really enjoyed these. House special meat was by far my favorite. 10 meat dishes while covid is around, they were plenty good. We definitly plan to come back. Our waitor was extremely attentive and the staff were polite. 20 minute wait for table which is ok for dinner, started off with salad bar which left a lot to be desired, asparagus spears were either undercooked or limp, somewhere in between would be perfect. Salads were almost empty, tomato soup was empty, chili was more liquidy like a soup & there were no bowls. Decor where we were sitting was a bit tired, the hanging paper wall to separate one dining room was a bit tacky as it kept flapping around when servers walked by. Was seated right by kitchen so first to be offered choices coming around. Some of the choices were blah, some were delicious and others like the mushy fish questionable. ReRico's was a great venue for our family celebration. The manager, Kim was very accommodating to a couple of needs we had and set the expectation for a wonderful evening. His staff was excellent! They were consistently attentive and polite. They kept the drinks filled and the food coming! The food was wonderful and very tasty. Seems different ones in our party had various favorites. I would not have thought of Sea Bass being that good at a Brazilian grill, but it was great! Of course, the beef, pork, and chicken were fantastic as well. And the salad bar is not an afterthought. What a disappointing meal! We have been to many Brazilian steakhouses and this one by far was the most disappointing. 1) The meat quality was extremely low. Tons of gristle. Very poor marbling. 2) They push fried teriyaki chicken and fries. 3) Very light outside seasoning on everything. Nothing seemed to have been marinated at all. 4) Many of the servers were rude and unhygienic. 5) food smeared on wall by table. 6) They do not have the classic Brazilian plantains. Theirs are deep fried. 7) Until talking to the manager about half way through our meal ALL cuts presented were very very well done and dried out. We will not be back. read more

This was our first and probably our last time going here. We've been to a few Brazilian steakhouses and this is definitely the worst. The cold bar was awful. They had no bread, fruits, potatoes, but they had three choices of bagged tortilla chips. Weird. The soup they served was cold. The meat selection was poor, very poor. Typically at other Brazilian steakhouses they ask how you want your meat cooked, but they didn't do that here. Everything came out rate which was okay for me, but no one else in the party enjoyed it. Not sure how many of these options are authentic Brazilian dishes. Meat can be trimmed off and cooked up to order upon request. A few dessert options including cheesecake, creme brûlée, and banana liquor dessert coffee. The desserts were kept on a cart in the dining room. They were exposed and not covered and chilled. The cold bar had the usual green salad, potato salad, soup, and cottage cheese options. I wasn't impressed with the limited variety. There were no black beans or rice to be found. Servers bring fries and bread to the table once throughout the meal. There are no side dishes left at the table for the group to share. Our server was very friendly and helped us navigate our way through the dining experience. I tasted a little of everything that was brought around to the table but my favorite was the teriyaki sirloin and the garlic rib-eye, along with the cooked pineapple and of course the sushi roll. We had eaten at a Brazilian Steak house in St Louis. It was phenomenal. Instead of Apple Bees or Chili's we decided to down here. Being military we have eaten in some of the top stars restaurants. We know quality foods. First, I should have known not to go there when I called them from the mall and it sounded like a bunch of young women at a sleepover. I asked 3x for the hours and if they dined it. Upon arrival. The place is decent. We are seated promptly by the winery. As we sit there, my husband looks at their masonry and there is weeks of dust build up. Not just there but everywhere. I was ready to go then but he said let's just see. We get the salad plate. They had pre-made potato and macaroni salad. One tasted like mustard and the other one had cheese in it. Totally gross. The meat service. The meat was not well done at all. Blood dripping off the skewer. We didn't even get like 3 oz of meat with those bs sides. If they knew we only ate well meat. Why not skewer us our own skewer. I was absolutely astonished. Overall, the place was NOT worth the $50 for the dinner. I didn't want to pay the $50. It wasn't worth it. I've had FARRRRRR better for that price. Needless to say, we will never be back nor recommending any of our friends from the base. One upside is that the staff were very friendly. That's the only thing. We tipped them well. It's not their fault. If you are looking for a real Brazilian Steak House go south to Branson or east to St Louis. read more

The sauces tasted like they opened a bottle nothing fresh. The salad bar was ok. The Signature drink is not the same. Not worth trying. No complimentary coffee. I don't know if they changed owners but we wasted money and will never return. The decor looks tired. The staff has no energy. We started at the salad bar they had, the first thing I noticed when I went to grab a plate was that there was food residue on it, So I went for another plate and had the same thing happen a couple times. The service from the waiter serving the food was terrible. He would pop onto our table for about 5 seconds and didn't give anyone a chance to say anything and would walk away. When he was cutting the meat onto one persons plate and another person asked for some he totally ignored it. The grilled pineapple was cold. Nothing grilled about it .
