Tracy at the front desk was super helpful with check in and my questions about jewelry and what not. My one feedback and note would be to mention that visitors do have the option to "try-on" jewelry if they are torn between sizes or colors of jewelry because I think some newcomers wouldn't be aware they could do that if it's not mentioned. My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! "Regarding your wait time, management confirmed it was significantly shorter than stated" - attached are photos at 6:20pm on 4/11/26 aka the time i went in & upon arrival i asked to use the restroom, i took a selfie amongst other pics & the date & time can be found on each one. When leaving, i was asked for my information & to enroll in ur $5 off coupon which was at 8:16pm on 4/11/26. almost exactly two hours, not sure which manager looked into that but i did not randomly chose that number. Consultation - Tabitha asked via phone if i was given the option or made aware of threadless vs threaded jewelry, i was not nor was I given the option between the two. (Im assuming since you guys only carry threadless anyways.) Lacy said the piercings could get expensive when downsizing multiple sizes & when custom jewelry becomes a thing (she gave me an example of hers that have a wide flat back) which i understood. I was never told the jewelry on hand would be so flimsy or else i would have left with a spare set. or why wouldnt that be offered if its a known thing that theyre just going to break soon after? "our management team has reached out multiple times" - Tabitha called me on 4/20/26 at 2:03pm post yelp review & asking me to elaborate which i did. she apologized & said she would investigate & immediately followed up asking if i could "take down the yelp review" I initially agreed but im so glad i didnt. All that was asked of me was to pick a date & time & she will have someone replace the jewelry that broke at the el monte location but she would have to call me back & let me know if there was someone at that location who COULD do it & that she would call back. when she called back at 2:38pm 4/20/26 she stated ordering a threaded set would take 6-8 weeks & that she will order my downsize. we agreed on that solution & hungup. Then 4/28/26 Tabitha texts me & there was no solution so we could agree on so thanked her & left it at that (screenshots attached as well) "waived fees" - crazy cause you guys swear this is something special. when i get my nails done & one breaks theyre quick to fix it FOR FREE & not keep reminding me that breakage could happen nor badgering me that IM at fault for it/knew the risks. Theres no fee to waive if i want to put the jewelry in my own face for free which you guys denied me of because u didnt want to mail them to me. "we offered appointments at our other locations with free parking lots" - text attached of Tabithas convo but she definitely stated STREET parking, exactly how the LA location is so.. not sure where the "Convenience & Options" were. sorry it came to this Leo, maybe ask both sides next time instead of just listening to one.

It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

I thought parking would be tough, but i went on a Saturday afternoon and found parking relatively easily a block away on Lake Shore Ave. The quality of work is top notch and my tattoo came out exactly as i wanted it to. He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

I wish I could give Sam a rating higher than five stars. She crafted an absolutely beautiful tattoo for me, and it's a true joy to have it as a permanent part of me. I am confident that even when I reflect on it in 50 years, I'll still be saying, "SHEESH IT'S SO GOOD." What's more, Sam approached her work with meticulous care, ensuring the stencil's placement was optimal. She made adjustments to enhance the overall appearance and carefully marked areas for inking. She even provided a thoughtful explanation for her choices. I'm deeply appreciative of Sam for going the extra mile and incorporating additional elements into the tattoo to conceal some scars from my past self-harm, even without me requesting it. On top of her incredible skill, Sam's personality is incredibly endearing to me; she's friendly, cheerful, a bit quirky, and utterly charming. With her, I felt completely relaxed and at ease. The studio features window walls on one side, creating a pleasant and cozy ambiance. I think the gentleman who greeted me might have been named Howie (apologies if I've remembered incorrectly), but his warm and friendly demeanor instantly put me at ease. The walls are adorned with numerous artworks, and certain sections of the studio gave me the impression of being in an art gallery. I saw Sam this last weekend and travelled out of state to get tattooed by her! I originally fell in love with her floral work on Instagram and emailed her with my ideas, size, placement and asked for her rate. I immediately got a response, and was able to book far in advanced because I had to travel to her. I really appreciate her accommodating me since I'm out of town. Sam was very professional, detail oriented and made sure we got the size and placement exact. Her artwork is stunning, and it truly shows! Upon arrival, I was offered a drink and snacks :) We went over the designs she had for both of my tattoos and the placement. During my appointment, I was very comfortable and she even had a phone holder for her clients so they don't have to hold their phone while getting tattooed. I was watching a show the whole time, which is great for me because I like to be distracted while getting tattooed! I got two tattoos done but only took a picture of the floral design. We had an amazing experience at this tattoo studio! There were four of us as walk-ins, and even though they were busy, they still found a way to accommodate us. Alyssa did my tattoo, and she absolutely nailed my simple design--clean, precise, and exactly what I wanted. A little late on this review but I got both sides of my forearm inked from the amazing Kilee. This was my first tattoo and was quite nervous as I have a pretty low pain tolerance. Kilee took her time, listened to the design I wanted and created this amazing work of art. I definitely plan on going back soon! Sam Leng not only did a beautiful piece on my arm but she also covered up a tattoo I had perfectly. I found her on Instagram and traveled all the way from Michigan just to see her. I absolutely love her work. The piece she gave me was amazing and 100% worth the trip. She was super easy to work with, super nice, and gave me exactly what I was looking for.
