No less than what the Residence Inn brand is known for. Excellent customer service, easy check in/check out, super clean, quiet, great "at-home" feel accommodations, free wifi, comp parking, hot breakfast and close proximity to local conveniences. We stayed in a studio king - King size bed (so comfortable!), living space with sofa bed, flat screen tv, full size kitchen with housewares. During our stay - Free wifi was about a 3g speed at best, however, there was an option to pay 4.95 (not sure if that's /night) to jump on their super high speed connection. Complimentary parking... Great if you get there early to get a good parking and walk or call a cab so you don't lose your spot. Parking is compact. When we were there, it was about a 4:1 SUV/Truck to car . Vehicles were parking over lines and crammed in together. I don' t know if this is a typical scenario as we stayed overnight to attend the "Choose APU" event and there seemed to be many prospects at the hotel. Hot breakfast: includes something cooked. - during our stay there were breakfast burritos, potatoes, Canadian bacon, waffles - along with cereals, breads, fruits, coffee, juices and such. Love that it's a late check out 12pm. It's helpful and we don't ever feel rushed. Drive Tip: It's a quick drive to the APU campus depending on what time of day. In the morning, it was quick to take Huntington... around 4:30-6/7PM it's bumper to bumper (so's the 210) Good thing we had Waze - we were able to navigate through backstreets and avoid hot spot traffic jams and bottlenecks I would have given it a 5 star, but the crammed up parking was terrible. read more

I had two nights here thanks to a gift from an uncle. I did check the rates - $129/night for a 2.5 star weekend stay. Rooms are clean. Two story buildings, no elevators. If you want a quieter room, get an upper-level unit. If you hate stairs, get a lower-level unit. Studio with full kitchen (including dishes, utensils, large coffeemaker). Cable covers the basic channels, some digital, the majority analog. Had a problem with the Internet connection. Called the front desk for a tech, and he came right away. He was able to reset the connection and get me going. Bed was very firm. Soft-mattress people like me may need more pillows. Free full breakfast, including ham or sausage, eggs, potatoes and waffles and the standard classic continental spread. Coffee here is better than the coffee in-room, but the coffee isn't available all day. If you do need caffeine and they're out of coffee, there is a soda fountain (Coke products). Tourists: This is a great place to stay in the L.A. area. Arcadia is a very friendly neighborhood. You can walk to any of a bunch of restaurants (Restaurant Row extends out east into Monrovia), or the Westfield Santa Anita is about a 5-minute drive west on Huntington (and a 5-minute search for parking). Please don't call yourself a pet friendly hotel if you're going to refuse housekeeping services to those with pets. I have a 6 year old collie who is just going to hide the entire time anyone is in here and can't get any housekeeping services unless I remove her. But me and the husband like to get away once in awhile just to regroup and relax... The price is pretty good for the Amenities. I went and bought dish soap and a scrubber to wash the dishes we used here. But when I opened the bottom Cupboard it had dish soap and a scrub her and soap for the dishwasher. Ralphs and rite aid is down the street so if you need anything. And Restaurant row is a literally walking distance,Olive Garden to Souplantation Chinese buffet claim jumpers. read more

I stayed at this hotel due to being displaced from my home temporarily. My insurance company helped coordinate my stay. Check in was painless. The first room I checked into was old and dirty. I was under a lot of stress so I almost stuck with the room. My poor toddler walked around bare foot for merely an hour and his feet were black from the dirty carpet. I called the front desk to ask for slippers, which they did not have, and told them about the dirty carpet. The lady asked me to hold then told me we would switch rooms. Luckily we did because the stay would've been horrible as the 1st room did not feel clean. 2nd room was a newly renovated room. Wow what a huge difference! I actually felt way more comfortable in staying there since the switch. Unfortunately due to my insurance checking in last minute, I had to deal with the inconvenience of having to move AGAIN! The 3rd room was a one bedroom suite. The first two were two bedroom suites. This is very interesting when it comes to booking rooms. I would ask about room availability and the front desk would tell me they're sold out, but when insurance calls, first a room is only available for x amount of days then suddenly it works itself out. Are booked rooms constantly changing that frequently that one sec they are sold out then the next it's available? That's frustrating for those needing extended stay. There can be hiccups with home renovations so this is tough when you suddenly need to extend your stay. The new rooms are definitely nice. Simple kitchen with necessities. The two bedroom suite it nice. Loft upstairs with a queen bed. Downstairs bedroom with a king bed. The place looks modern. This place is already conveniently located next to restaurants but Monday and Tuesday they offer free food at night!! And Wednesday it could be either food or dessert. That's generous! There daily free breakfast isn't bad neither. My husband enjoyed their waffles. They'd have fruit, eggs, sausages, yogurt, milk, cereal, an array of breads, juice and coffee. It was well stocked. Laundry is okay. $2 for washer, $2 for dryer and $2.18 for detergent at the front desk. If you're at this hotel for more than a week, I'd suggest going to Target and buying detergent. $2.18 is pricey for one load. I actually heard someone stayed there for 9 mos. Stayed here on a Friday night for one night only and that's probably a good thing. For a Marriott brand hotel, I was pretty disappointed. I have a high level Bonvoy Marriott level and this is the first hotel to deny a complimentary upgrade. Not a huge deal as I was only staying one night. The room is mediocre for Marriott. The walls were splattered with stains, cabinetry was worn down to the wood, a couple recessed lights were partially hanging out of the ceiling, the exterior door didn't shut very well, couch looked well used, and some of the lights didn't work. Breakfast was your typical continental. I did like that everything, including the hot items, were individually wrapped. I hate seeing other people grab at the serving spoons only to have it fall into the bacon! However, the packaged food had a bit of that packaged wrapped taste that you get when you eat an instant microwaved burrito. Overall, still better than a typical Wyndham brand hotel but definitely not up to Marriott standards. read more

Room/Suite itself was ok though definitely not worth the price unless you really want the full kitchen. Folding sofa bed had a few items in it when we opened it including a couple of bottle caps. Coffee at front desk only during (and maybe shortly after) breakfast though afternoon concierge was accommodating enough to make a fresh pot. Did keep asking about the coffee maker in your room which each packet is barely enough to make 1 decent cup; if you follow the 4 cup instruction you get dirty water lol Pool was not heated, or cleaned, at least for the weekend we were there even after repeated request for the heated part. There were rocks and small branches at bottom of pool. Monday morning and they were still cleaning pool at 940 when it's supposed to open by 9 am. And rocks and branch still st bottom. read more

Has to be the worst experience that I've ever had at an Hotel. Where do I start. The front desk staff gave me a sweet rate of 169.00 a night for my extended stay. I had been there since June and would have probably continued my stay if it were not for the horrible customer service experience I had with the manager and another employee. When I stopped in to provide my new CC ( old one was lost and I got a replacement) I requested to bring my account to a 0 balance and was given a receipt. Once I left and had time to review the receipt. I realized I was being charged $209.00 per night. I reached out to the staff and they said that they would have the manager contact me. The manager emailed me basically saying that they staff were not authorized to give me the rate, that everything needs to be approved by her and that she would not be able to honor the rate. Although I felt that it was poor customer service as , I would have expected a call from her when she discovered the "error" to tell me that they would be charging me 40 more dollars a night than what was previously offered. Instead she just billed me the 209 per night for a total of 1922.00. I emailed her back thanking her for looking into the rate and asked that she use the opportunity to coach her staff on ensuring the accuracy of a rate. I thought the conversation was over at that point. I'm not a complainer and I honestly would have felt better if she apologized for not communicating the change or offered to honor the rate for the time I was unaware of. Nope! No apology, No understanding in fact she told me the staff that offered the rate no longer worked there. Which was untrue. Almost immediately after communicating with her I began to get multiple authorizations to my card to the tune of 5945.00. Mind you I had a zero balance and this had never been the case before. I had been staying there for over a month. I contacted the office for the 1st auth 1345 and was told the charge would be reversed ( and it was ) after that I got authorizations throughout the next 2 days for random amounts like $1810.00 x2 , $490,$250, 240.31. When I called the office they said the manager was not there. I then call the Titanium Elite line who tried to assist to no avail so they were forced to turn it in to Marriot Consumer affairs who was of absolutely no concern or help. Ultimately they could not explain the authorizations, some the office manager could not see, I literally pulled up my banking app and showed her and her response was "I don't see them in my system" so "I don't think I'm going to be able to make you happy". She didn't offer any suggestions or anything to help figure out what was going on. I reached out to Marriot Corporate again. Get this! The Manager emailed me while I was at work, telling me she needed the exact information I tried to provide her the day before! Both her and corporate tried to play like I was uncooperative in getting my funds released that they say they cannot explain or see in their system. I had to leave work, because the information she requested seemed shady and I was not going to email her my account and bank info. I went to her office, conference a call with my bank who told her that , she did not need my information to reverse the auths. They gave her instruction of how to do it and she could not. She called accounting and they could not help as they said the hotels merchant ID expired (March 2019). So she put the ball back in my court suggesting that I escalate it to a supervisor at my bank, also suggesting that maybe next time I should use a cc not a bank card. How about, taking a little ownership of the hotels error?? So my bank said they were willing to release 2 auths and the rest looks like it may process at which time I would have to open a dispute. 4 hours off work, still not resolution or follow up, Corporate offered me 20,000 points ( not enough for a 1 night stay and not requested by me ). The hotel manager never once, empathized, apologized or took ownership of the mess. What did happen is even after I checked out and went to HIlton. They sent me a new receipt where they billed me twice for a room on the same day!! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN. I called and spoke with a very nasty clerk who challenged me saying the bill reflects a zero balance so he doesn;t care what I was trying to explain. It literally got to the point that I had to request that he get a calculator and do very simple math. He then realized that YES they did double charge me and he would reverse the charge. He sent me a receipt saying he reversed it but, my bank statement has not reflected it. Also if the GM was unable to reversed the authorizations. How is it that he claims he can?? I have stayed a total of 32 nights here and all of a sudden after 1 conversation that I can't classify as a complaint. Everything changed. I am a stickler for customer service. This is the hotel I get put up in for work related training. Since my first stay (which has been about 2 years ago) I've always had a nice relaxing stay here. They are very accommodating and there's always someone up at the front counter. This place would get 5 stars if it wasn't for the parking. It's the only nightmare here. If you're in buildings 11-15 then you'd better be prepared to walk. There's a grass section in that corner which is nice, but that's space is lost parking spots. If that's not important to you then you'll be good. Since I frequently stay here I've learned the lay of the land...that and I don't like lugging all my stuff back and forth from my car to my room (school/work supplies). I booked a hotel reservation for the Marriott Residence Inn Pasadena Arcadia. I made the reservation 2 months prior to the event we were attending (Irwindale Renn Faire) 10 minutes driving distance. Less than 24 hours before we were supposed to check in, they sent me an email saying they could not accommodate us and took it upon themselves to book us rooms in Los Angeles (an hour away) but, the rooms would be free. I have never had a hotel do this before and I was completely taken off guard. I told them LA would NOT work since we were driving from San Diego in the opposite direction. They found a hotel in Anaheim so we took that just to get something. We still had to drive for over an hour and should have just driven home. In hind site, I should have asked for credit on a future stay. We had spent all day at the fair. We were tired, our feet hurt, some of us were sunburned and we had to drive in traffic for over an hour before we could change and relax. Won't ever book with Marriott again. read more

I paid for this place on Priceline.com for approximately $90.00/night on a weekend. I booked under the conditions of a three star hotel and bid at $65.00/night. They requested I go up to $75.00 and after taxes and fees, I ended up at $90.00/night for my most recent trip, which is a very good value considering the area and amenities available. I got a basic studio suite for myself. The review will be based off of a studio suite here. I notified the management that I will be checking in late to the hotel since my flight was delayed. The main office is open 24 hours, so therefore, if you check in late, you will have no problems checking in. Their front office staff is very helpful and friendly. They seem like a pretty laid back group, however, they will help you when you need it. There is free breakfast here. I dislike that it ends early at 9:30am. They have your run of the mill hotel breakfast items. They have a cool waffle maker machine. There is a small leisure pool, gym, and sport court available for use. I did not utilize any of their equipment but it did look nice. The room I had was a downstairs room that was in the back of the facility. It is pretty quiet there and it seems like there are plenty of people that stay here for a long period of time. I had a full kitchen and refridgerator, which is always helpful when traveling. It allows me to enjoy my trip similar to how I would enjoy my own home. There is an office that is adjacent to the kitchen. The room seems like it would be best for one or two people, at most. I got a king sized bed in my room, in addition to a HDTV, couch, and recliner. The bathroom included a shower. You can have a bath in the tub if you want, but not my cup of tea. You may find difficulty finding the facility since it is hidden behind another hotel on E. Huntington Dr. The cross street is E. Huntington at Gateway Drive. The surrounding area seems like a quiet area and I felt safe walking around at night. I walked all the way to W. Huntington drive to the One Hundred to One Cocktail Lounge without any problems. Nearby is a BJ's brewhouse and Chinese seafood restaurant that seemed popular with the people that were staying in the area. I would recommend that people come back here given the value and the amenities/services. read more

It's such a shame that I have to give this hotel such a low rating . Apparently, it is a hang out for hoods who enjoy smoking weed in the parking lot and partying in certain rooms. Due to this fact, it is impossible to find parking since it's taken up by those attending the festivities. My wife and her friend also did not feel comfortable walking around the parking lot after dark due to this fact. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place. I stayed in the Marriott Residence Inn a couple years back when my parents kicked me out of the house. I rented a single suite with a queen sized bed I believe. I forgot what the price was but it was affordable. The room was decent size. I admit, I kind of threw a kickback during my stay there and the room was big enough to hold a good amount of people. The best thing about the Residence Inn though is the location. It is located right next to many restaurants so you don't have to go too far for food. All in all, my experience there was pretty good. This place is great across the board! Our stay was for over two weeks and it was the most comforting stay I've ever had. We slept like baby's and ate like champions. The facility is nice along with a pool, spa, fire pit , gym and basketball courts. The newly renovated rooms are fully loaded with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans. They provide Breakfast every morning and grilled burgers and hot dogs on Wednesday night's out by the pool. The staff here is awesome, Cool, professional, helpful and courteous. This place was better than I expected. I stayed for a weekend and felt so comfortable and at home. I had a regular room which had a full kitchen, desk, Internet, couch, reclining chair, flat screen tv that swiveled so you can watch at any place in room and lastly the room had the most comfortable bed ever. It was so soft and the feather pillows were wonderful. I truly felt at home here. The layout of the place makes you feel like you're in a condo complex and pets are welcome. Also they gave me early check in at around 9am and late check out at 1pm. The staff was extremely professional and accomodating. Our house is being renovated so we decided to stay here for a week, which has turned into 2 weeks. We chose this hotel because they have a kitchenette and allow pets, we have a puppy. So we are currently half way through our second week, no one has cleaned our room, our keys never work even though we have been to the front desk to correct. Trash is picked up from the front door up to 12 hours later. Sheets are well worn although clean but sometimes stained. If you need fresh linens they may or may not be able to bring them to you. Don't ask for extra pillows the four of you will have to share the 4 flat ones on the king bed. There was no linen on the pull out even though the reservation was for 4. No extra towels as requested at booking. They put random holds on your card on file, without sending the invoice. I have 4 holds right now...? I wouldn't stay here again. I don't know how you can have room that people can cook in and have pets in but not clean it. On the plus side, the room was clean when we checked in, the kitchen is good enough to prepare the basics, grounds are clean and it's pretty quiet. read more

I hate to admit it but I'm Hotel snob. I stay in full-service Marriott over a hundred nights year and other brands maybe 50 nights here. I'm used to a certain level of service, cleanliness, and breakfast exclamation point. This place had the best of all three. Most Residence Inns do not have an awesome breakfast , just ok and good enough. Not only was the food above-average for a Residence Inn , the attendant was so sweet and kind. Tom, the front desk night desk clerk ,was a doll. Can't say enough about the whole experience. A nice view but be prepared to walk up stairs or plan ahead and ask for a first-level room. A and I were supposed to stay here for two nights but that didn't happen because we were stuck in Grapevine. We called the hotel explaining the situation and they were super understanding. There was no cancellation penalty fee and they only charged us for the one night we stayed. This is not a fancy place with huge pool or anything. It's more like a home away from home kind of hotel. It was a result of a fire in our kitchen, and during the remodeling process, our family of 4 stayed here for a few months. Insurance paid for it all, so I don't know what the costs were. Our 2 story suite had an upstairs bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, and a fold-out sofa serving as a second bedroom. With all the accommodations of home, such as microwave, fridge, sofa, plates and utensils, cable TV, A/C, etc... Weekly housekeeping. Outdoor pool. They didn't provide a computer, so I had to install mine on the kitchen counter to use their internet. Residence Inn does allow for pets within the suites (at a cost), but since we owned 2 outdoor dogs and we didn't have a yard, it wasn't practical to keep them here. I enjoyed living so close to restaurants. Souplantation was within walking distance! Sweet. Parking was convenient, though they would close the back gate during the evening. Free breakfast provided at the office check-in building; relatively basic, but free nevertheless. It wasn't home, but it certainly made things bearable. read more

Truth be told, I stayed there even though I live nearby because I was given a free night via the "Give a Day, Get a Night" offer (google it for more info), so I can't comment on the prices. But the room was very clean and nicely decorated; plenty of channels on the large tv; nice view of the 210; massive amounts of towels in the bathroom; and a good tub. There's a pool and fitness center, neither of which I used. Parking is free and plentiful. To use their wifi or ethernet, you have to call the front desk for a password. Nearby restaurants are walkable; barring that, there's an in-house restaurant/bar for those without toes. Also, if you drink the bottle of water on the shelf, you get charged a few bucks. Here's a tip: fill the ice bucket with ice and wait for it to melt! Or boil some water via the coffee maker, then mix in some ice for some good drinkin'. There's also the bathroom faucet, but c'mon! This is the Marriott -- gotta class it up. read more

Where do I begin?! The room was so clean a day well stocked with everything we needed and more!! We had 3 flippin' closets in a room with a king bed and a pull out couch!! We had plenty of room for my husband, me and our 2 kids (11 and 17)!! Our room also had a kitchenette and a little dining table!! The pool was clean and larger than some of the other hotels we saw before picking this one!! Breakfast was included and although it wasn't fancy it was surprisingly well balanced, generous with an impressive variety!! Breakfast was available as a brown bag to-go option, thanks to Covid, but because of the spacious, comfortable room we had somewhere nice to enjoy our breakfast!! A very beautiful property at reasonable rates. For a studio suite, we paid $129 per night for a Thursday-Monday stay. The rates were $99 when booked in advance but my dad spaced out and forgot. When we arrived, they were repainting the lines on the parking lot so we had to park in another hotel's lot and walk down the street to check in. It was an issue because my dad has bad knees (he has a handicap parking placard), so the unexpected hassle wasn't appreciated. For the first day, they were painting the office part. On the second day, they painted the back side (by the 24 Hour Fitness) where our room was located, and they forgot to reopen the lot. We had to park out on the street. Our room was spacious. It included a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer (complete with ice maker) and tableware/silverware. This was helpful when we packed a picnic. The desk area was really spacious and came in pretty handy. The front desk will even grocery shop for you if you submit a shopping list before 9am. How cool is that? Edited to add: We had our little sign on for housekeeping to skip our room the first day. We received a very sweet voicemail confirming that they had skipped our room. They let us know which extension to call in case we needed more towels or anything else. This was much appreciated. The pool area was AMAZING! The hot tub is very small (4 people max). The pool is heated, which was great in the evenings. They also have two full-sized barbecue grills and tables to use. They provide a gas fire pit with ample, comfy chairs. At night, they play jazz music, which only adds to the delightful atmosphere. The "gate house" (front desk) offers complimentary water and coffee. There is a convenience store open 24 hours a day if you need a snack. If you're staying for more than a night and like to cook in your own room, I would definitely suggest this property. They make it easy to host a dinner or have some poolside drinks with friends. However, if you don't plan on being in your room much, I would stay somewhere cheaper. read more

I stayed at this lovely little location for a grand total of 2 weeks and it was as comfortable as staying in a hotel for 2 weeks could be. As with all Residence Inn locations, this was intended to be a home away from home and it definitely served its purpose. This lovely little inn is located down Gateway. Essentially it's behind the Souplantation on Huntington, just follow the signs. The suite I had was a 2 bedroom split level suite which is slightly deceiving because it's more like 1 bedroom and a loft. There is a small living room and a small functioning kitchen. They use their space very effectively, but one thing to take into consideration is that the stairs to get to the second floor are really steep. If you're staying here with your kids I would be a little cautious with the stairs as well as the loft bedroom upstairs. The rooms here are clean and the cleaning crew does a pretty good job of maintaining it. We had cookware and all the essentials we would need for our long stay. The hotel amenities include a pool, jacuzzi, gym, and tennis courts as well as an area for you to walk your pets. I believe the place is newly remodeled so everything is mostly clean and new. Dinner is provided on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Breakfast is served every morning. Food is okay but the overal amenities in the hotel made this stay extremely pleasant. If I ever had to be out of my house for 2+ weeks again I would definitely stay here. read more

I stayed there two times. I couldn't type full review. The Customer service was trying to be polite but demoralizing and unwilling and reluctant to help. They also lied about the specifications of the room for disabled people. They do not care, nor does the manager care.They told me they didn't have another room. Bottom line: Manager knows there are problems and does not tell customers. Expects you not to get angry and yell or cuss at them for their mistakes and lies. Check their bad reviews. They are not honest and not hospitality. Gordon will say the manager is a DONUT!Shut this place DOWN! The sofa smelled like someone chewed tobacco and was bleeding and smoking and with vomit. They did not have another room for me. There was bugs, and the trash was never carried out for a couple of days. I ended up having to taking it out when I saw them doing the trash in the middle. And there was times where the trash was piled up so high and raining and flowing all over about 5 ft. Glitter was all over the kitchen, living room, bathroom and chair. So I asked for extra sheets. They also did a cleaning but tell me cause of covid they were doing me a favor. It seemed like all they did was flip the sofa mat. I didn't want to touch it so I put a bed sheet over it. Also they didn't provide me bath towels until after the cleaning. And no toothbrush, they said they stopped providing them. Shower was full of dirt. The warm breakfast I was told about by the manager was kids oj, a protien bar, kids bottle water, and a small kids yogurt in a bag to takeout. Second time I stayed, the room was worse. The bathroom floors were taped up, there was dirt everywhere and the bowls and plates were dirty and the stove was broken and the fridge didn't make ice. The showerhead was better but the handle was not for the handle so you could not put it lower. Tub was dirty and had a dead spider. There was a huge crack on the stove and they called it minor and said I complained too much. And that it was safe to use. I used the cracked side it seemed okay. Then I used the non cracked side and it started having fumes like you were burning plastic. I was feeling chest pains after that. Then front desk put me on hold and ignored me for almost an hour later. Manager called back and was like there isn't anything they can do. And told me I should go to the hospital cause of chest pains. I wasn't about to because of covid and I know their protocols. Manager said if I said my chest hurt, he will force me out. And that they have policy to remove me. I was moved into a different room, the next day but the door didn't have a bottom seal, so you can see a huge lip and the wind and sunlight and even a 6 foot snake could get in. The floor was cleaner except for a 4 inch tree bark and the bathroom was cleaner. Ice maker not really working. And the water heater they said is older building so I couldn't get the hot water started during the day when people were using it for like 20min or so. It was easier to use at 1am and like 5am and takes awhile for it to work. And it seemed like someone was bleeding on the shower curtains and or something little ring marks. And hair on the face towels When I asked for help they said covid they aren't allowed to help. They offered to do some repairs. I told them I needed rest, I said I was going to be inside and that please don't come in unannounced. But they did and quite forceful. They kept calling me while I was in nerve pain. 3-4 times like kids cold calling you. Then then they knocked once and then tried to barge in while the door was locked and kept shoving it to get open. Got me rattled. I called front desk and instead they told me its their policy and that they can come in unannounced anytime they believe I am out of the place. They can call and if I don't answer they can get in anytime they want. I thought that was crazy and cussed at her on phone. The manager told me he didn't care and asked me that I stay until one more day and then leave and never to come back. He said I used a bad language and yelled at his employee should not of been treated that way. I apologized but that they should admit to fault. He said they have guidelines and that he didn't care whos fault, and that they can come in anytime they want regardless if I wasn't inside, but I was. Manager said their protocols is if they call you and you don't answer they can come in anytime they want, as it is their policy that you are not inside, even if you are. Manger said he was doing me a favor of letting me stay one more day and to never come back and that I was going to be barred from coming back. I was already on my way out. All the problems they have and I read the reviews and how they treated people. They lied and tried to tell me I never saw the reported problems. I have pictures I told them some of my medical problems to help prevent problems and they used it against me. Most hotels and motels are more helpful when you tell them. Beware! read more

We didn't have a lot of options as far as places to stay on a holiday weekend that were nearby our event with enough bedspace for 3 people... everything was already booked. We got into town early and stopped at the Residence Inn, but were unable to check in early. So we came back later(I believe they said they would call when the room was ready, but didn't). It was nice upstairs studio and was plenty comfortable... except for the pull-out sofa bed with itchy/rough blankets, it was all springs and no comfort at all. A little disappointed about that since everything else was super nice, so ended up sleeping horribly. We had to be up early, so no breakfast for us and breakfast was over before we got back...limited breakfast hours on the weekends(what people don't sleep in?). I'm guessing we might have been the only ones staying there for the running event, otherwise I'd think they would have stuff out, so we could get some morning carbs. Neighbors seem to be coming and going all night... not quietly at all! It was a nice place, but the price was a bit steep for a king bed and a sofa bed. read more

We stayed in room 411. The description of the room said with fire place. None was in our room. The room smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Bed was horrible. My husband weighs 200lbs and he was sinking in the bed. Such a terrible night sleep. We had a big presentation the next day. Should have stayed at the Hilton next door. read more

Was deciding between this or the Springhill Suites and I'm glad I chose the Residence Inn. It was quiet which was very important to me. I love the feel of a condo environment. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and paper towels which came in handy. In addition, love the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower wash on the bath wall. Nice hotel. It is the old style Residence Inn that is 2 story with no elevators. They have a decent outdoor pool area that we didn't use. We had the loft room with a King bed and pull out sofa. When we arrived our sliding door was open and there were guitar picks on the floor and no pillows for the pull out mattress. They did deliver pillows within minutes after the second request. Poor customer service. My wife checked in a few hours before me and was asked for a credit card to cover incidentals. Made clear that the room was still to be charged to my credit card which was used to make the reservation and is listed in my Marriott profile. After checkout we learned that the wrong card had been charged. No help from the hotel when we called and no help from Marriott's Titanium Elite helpline. Love the condo style of the Inn. 2 story condo style. Separate kitchen and living room with large master bedroom and bathroom inside. Upstairs is a loft with bed and bathroom. King size bed in master bedroom and queen size bed up in the loft. Super spacious and clean. Even has a fireplace and comes with appliances, bowls, pans, etc. There's bbq grills by the pool. Breakfast is also free (7:30-9am). You know when they have Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner it's nice! Hahaha read more
