I really love this salon! They do a wonderful job with my manicures and pedicures. Sam makes me feel so welcome the minute I walk in the door, during my time there and when I check out. He always comes by to see if I need anything. Sally, the nail tech, does an excellent job with my nails. They always come out beautiful. She is such a professional at what she does, and so sweet! I went here for several months but have been increasingly dissatisfied. The nail techs aren't paying attention the pressure they apply during manicures or pedicures. I've left with sore nails and a few cuts. Sometimes the dip has been downright lazy with dip still caked under my nails. They are way overpriced for the level of service provided. read more

Two nail techs that I would recommend are Lynn (which is who I go to) and Angelina who my friend normally goes to. This is a nice establishment but $34 for a basic pedicure is insane. I've lived in 3 major cities in different states and this is the highest I ever paid for a pedicure. If I didn't drive so far I would've walked out. You can get a regular mani & pedi for $45 in most places. Massage chair too rough, has my back feeling like I was in an accident. I look like I just ate flaming hot cheetos. I understand how low people's standards are for getting their nails done. So this place has high reviews but once you go somewhere that actually gives you a tender and delicate manicure pedicure then you go to a place like this.... you are severely disappointed. Sophia did my pedicure and though she was nice, she barely touched my callouses. I mean 3 seconds top on each area of my foot. I'm sorry but the reason I get a pedicure is to get soft feet. I'm a student at The University of Texas at Austin but this place is still my go-to place. Whenever I come home to my parents' house, I always make sure to make a stop at Resort. I've never been to a place where they do better pedicures and now my mom, my two sisters and I don't go anywhere else. When you go in, make sure to ask for Linda. I'm always so happy with my pedicure/manicure after Resort but Linda always does the best job. She's a great conversationalist and pays close attention to detail. Love her! read more

I have been a few times to this place but will never return again. They were not transparent with their pricing and told me it would be one price and then at checkout it was $40 more. In addition, I was not happy with my nail design or shape as it was not what I asked for ( I showed a picture to ensure they could do it, they said yes but they turned out very different). When I came in the next day to have them take off my nails, the woman began to say that I "learned my lesson" and to ask for something more simple if the price I paid was too expensive and I can't "afford it". The problem that I expressed was not that they were too expensive (although they were overpriced for what I got done) but that I was quoted a different price. Also, if you like narrow or skinny square don't come to this place. I gave them two chances to get the shape right and both times left with either coffin nails or just rounded square. I've been getting my nails/toes done at the same place in Frisco for years (where we live) but needed something near my work in Grapevine due to a pressing schedule. I'm sooooooo glad I came across this place! It was a few months new, super clean, and the service was impeccable. It's so hard to keep up with all the nail salons and competition everywhere, but this salon blew my mind at their level of cleanliness, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. I'm giving one star because it can't be left blank. The person that did my nails was very rough. She cut my pinky toe and it was bleeding for about 20 minutes. When she painted my toes she kept messing up and continues painting over them to try and cover the mistakes. On some toes, I had at least 5 layers. After sitting for 20 minutes, I had two nails still messed up. I finally told them to take all of the polish off and I left. The other person I was with felt pressured to get an eyebrow wax. When she refused, they became rough while doing her toes and sped through her session. We will never be back. read more

I have been to the nail shop many times. The last two times, within a month, my experiences has not gone well. The prices have gone up, and the service is terrible and attitudes of the gentlement that works the front desk is nasty. They try and rush you in and out like a herd of cattle. On my last visit i got a pedicure and dipping on my nails the pedicure was great, the dipping not great and the gentlement that did my nails did not clean my hands or massage them. When I asked him to clean my nails, he replied that he already cleaned them. I was not his priority and he had moved to the next customer. First of all, Linda is amazing with her attention to details! I receive 3 services from her: nexgen for my fingernails, gel on my toenails and waxing. I am constantly getting compliments on my nails and have referred 5 people to her, plus both of my daughters see her. One of my friend's drives all the way from Rockwall just a use Linda for the three services I get! Also, If you need fast, like true lunch hour fast, Linda is the fastest and can get me in and out in 45 minutes. If Linda is busy, Kimberly is also outstanding! My mom has to see Kimberly every time she visits from Houston for her gel pedicure. Kimberly loves what she does and it shows on how she takes her time to really pamper you! Had a terrible experience. It was busy and asked if there was a wait. They said no but I sat there for a good 15-20. The manager asked everyone but me if they wanted something to drink. Normally they do my mani and pedi at the same time but not today. They should have been upfront and honest on how busy they were.
