What can I say... yelp reviews don't lie... Robert and his son KNOW what they are doing. I am beyond grateful yelp led me to this wonderful family-owned business. If you're reading this, it's because you have bed bugs - so here's my story on what happened to us, and hopefully it will ease your mind. Back in August my boyfriend was waking up with a weird rash on his hands and arms. Nothing on me. But there were SO MANY that we thought it was a rash. A doctor visit later confirmed bug bites. We live near a water channel, so we chopped it up to mosquitoes and summer weather. Well, two days later, I wake up with the same thing all up and down my arms. Doctor prescribes us steroid cream and that is all. I knew it was something else, so I took to the web and found out it was bed bugs. I got a recommendation for an exterminator who was an "expert" in BBs. He comes to our house and finds a nest of them in one of our box springs. Also was one in our wedge pillow I used to bridge the gap between the wall and our mattress. It was a bed bug utopia, and we were on the menu. So he sprays our room down and gives us a 30 day guarantee. Fine. Three weeks later I get bites again. He comes and sprays AGAIN. Now it's been 6 weeks, life was back to normal. NOT. I woke up and found a blood stain on my pillow. A couple hours later, a full grown adult FULL of blood just chilling on my comforter, looking at me like, "You thought your were safe, didn't you?" PANIC AND FREAK OUT MODE ENSUES. I take to the web yet again, because let's face it - our guy's method was NOT WORKING. I luckily found Robert, and too bad I didn't find him to begin with. Last week I woke up with several bites on my lower legs... at least I thought they were bites. As the days progressed they began showing up in different areas. A friend of mine had used Robert a few years back after having horrible episodes with bed begs and finding peace in Robert's knowledge and follow-up work. She referred him to me right away. No one ever should have to deal with bedbugs. Thank goodness this company exists. After calling several nationwide pest control places yelp steered me towards this place. Thank you yelp! And thank you Robert, Trent, Mikaela, and the rest of the team at rest assured! The nationwide places quoted over $2,000 and they wanted to tent and fumigate our house. We have a very young toddler and a very old dog so this would've been incredibly disruptive. With rest assured we were able to keep our dog and toddler in the home for most of the visit. Not to mention they did it for about $800 cheaper. Everyone who works here is polite, respectful, and very well informed which is good bc for most people this is their first time dealing with this issue. They even have a one year guarantee which is crazy considering their competitors either don't offer it or it's just a few months at best. They were here for about 6 hours and were very thorough. It hasn't been that long since they left and only time will tell if the pests are really gone or not but I feel confident even if they didn't get them all they will honor their agreement to come back and treat at no additional cost. Hard to think of anything bad about this company. It's a small family owned business and Robert the owner runs a tight ship. They even take American Express! The only thing that was kind of a bummer is all the aftercare stuff we have to do. But since we didn't fumigate the whole house and kill everything that's the price you pay to not have your lives totally disrupted. I say it's totally worth it. I think you will too. read more

It's SO GREAT to know that there are still honest and caring businesses out there!! Long story short as possible... I found a couple of bugs and realized I was itchy and scratching. So after I did the "eeww oh nooo I've probably got bedbugs" dance, I called a local pest control company to come over Saturday 2/17. Then I barely slept, washed and dried my bedding and clothing basics and was trying to look at every spot on my socks and flip flops-which I've been walking around the house in.. So the guy comes over on Saturday and walks in, goes to my bedroom and confirms my fear-he tells me I have bedbugs...but don't worry he's got a proven heat treatment that'll take care of it. I started to cry when he left-thinking about the prep work he said I had to do, the serious cost and the worries about my good clothes and shoes and the things I inherited... I was exhausted. Then I thought that I would get a second opinion...what could it hurt? Well THANK GOODNESS I found Rest Assured!! It turns out, I DON'T have bedbugs! They came over and were friendly and professional. They got down to business and within a few minutes showed me a carpet beetle... and then another and then kept inspecting and found NO evidence of bedbugs!!! NONE!! I have carpet beetles! Just a couple in my room and a few more in my living room, the living room where I've been trying to sleep because the first pest control guy told me I should!! My tired mind started to figure it out... These guys are great!! Robert was extremely friendly and knew what he was doing. He not only treated my work for bedbugs but also my house. After the first treatment there was no sign of bugs anywhere. Just follow the instructions he gives for afterwards and you'll be golden. Unfortunately bed bugs followed us from our previous resodent, we had to get iur place treated 3 or 4 times, take evrything out of our house and it didnt do a thing but with Rest Assured these guys just had us make sure things were put away like a normal house would be, there was litterally no prep work. I thought I had bed bugs, but they asked me if I was 100% sure because they could be varied carpet beetles (which are harmless btw). Audra asked me to take a pic and text it to her so I did. Robert is the epitome of professionalism. My wife was getting bites (we thought they were spiders) for a little over 2 weeks. Finally saw one of the little buggers (bed bug) and managed to snap a picture. Searched through various companies in YELP and was floored with the positive experiences with Rest Assured. It wasn't until 3 days before our scheduled treatment, that we found out our landlord had Terminex spray the unit above us 1 month prior and neglected to notify us!!! (AGH!). We still fall under the 90 day policy guarantee so they will be coming to spray in a few days. Long story short: I purchased a piece of used furniture that brought bed bugs into my home. Yes, UGH. After two doctor appointments (to find out why the heck I was itching), I finally found one of the little creepy crawlers and immediately began researching what the little monster was, I determined it was bed bugs. I hope you never have to go though this, but if you do, this is the guy! I had called so many people and finally scheduled an appointment. I had left a message at this place and heard back from them that night. After speaking with Robert, I canceled the other company. This guy is like a scientist of bed bugs. He also made us feel better when he explained that even 5 star hotels get them. We are very clean and supposedly these little demons don't care. They just want to suck your blood. So my husband thought one of the dogs brought fleas in the house. He was getting bites for about a month. I never got bit once! So after bombing the bedroom we thought we were in the clear. When he continued to get bit, I decided to examine the bed. They sleep during the day, so you won't see them then. I pulled out the bed and much to my disgust, there was a nice infestation of bed bugs. This is not an easy thing to get over! These things are gross to say the least. So Robert to the rescue! We scrubbed the house from top to bottom, threw the bed away. Robert said that wasn't needed as he could've treated it. I don't think we could deal with that psychologically. I called Robert, Rest Assured's owner, to rid my home of bed bugs. When he came to inspect prior to the service, I gave him a few specimens I had collected that I thought were bed bugs. Of all of the specimens, only one was actually a bug, and he said he needed to verify with his entomologist that it was actually a bed bug before he could come out to my home and treat for them. He called the next day and told me I had bird mites! Even though he doesn't treat for bird mites he spent much time and energy trying to help me out all at no charge. We had these pests and called a big name company who said they could take care of bed bugs. They said the heat treatment get rid of them. They offered a 3 month warranty. This should have been a warning. We had an infant and wanted the bugs gone so we paid what ended up being 3 times the amount Rest Assured charged. The treatment was done and we felt they were gone. Well as you might have guessed, a little over 3 months later they were back. We called the big name company and they said we would have to start all over but they might give us a discount. I was pretty mad and decided to look elsewhere for help. I found Rest Assured and called. They answered all of my questions and I had a lot since I now had experience. I felt satisfied with the answers and pleased with the reasonable price. I also liked that they specialized in bed bugs only and offer a 1 YEAR warranty. It has been 6 months and so far no bed bugs.
