Updating. I was contacted by the driver (more than six hours after my scheduled time) to ask if they could still come for a pickup. At that point my furniture had already been picked up by a different company. Had the driver contacted me before or during my scheduled pickup window I would have proceeded with the later pickup. I can work with anyone as long as the lines of communication stay open. That said, I am very impressed with the responsiveness of the company's owner. I do understand that the subcontracted driver, and not ReSupply, was the cause of my complaints. I only hope that my issues can be a catalyst for a better experience. Based on my conversation with Chris, I am willing to give them another try when the need arises. read more

I called Goodwill about pick up donations. They connected me with ReSupply for the labor. I told them I had a leather sectional and was quoted $167. When the guys showed up they increased the price. In the end they said it would be double what I was quoted. They said they were just contractors working with Goodwill. Beware-it felt "off". This price increase likely happens often. FYI - they made me pay before they started the job, and didn't take everything I paid them to take. It's like a bait and switch - I had confirmed yesterday multiple times the hot tub would be taken, their reps told me they take everything and whatever the donation center doesn't take they will dump for me. I uploaded all of the pictures days before they were scheduled to come and when they got here, they told me they could not take a plethora of items and would charge me additional $$ - luckily I was able to price compare simultaneously and determined they were charging more than double what I could have someone else do to dispose of the items. I requested a pick up to donate my clothes and such to goodwill and they did not follow thru. First date they called an hour or so saying the driver couldn't pick up due to "unforeseen circumstances" then booked another day for me. Today 8/18/24 they was suppose to pick up and nothing. I waited and waited, nothing. No calls, text, email, nothing. I cant call the office since they are closed today (Sunday) so now im left here waiting. This is Margaret Riccardi. On 8/20/ 2023, I wrote a one star review. I received a message and subsequently a call from Chris M.. After hearing the entire story in a phone call, he was quite apologetic and understanding as to why I was first, concerned about the mover and his young nephew being trained properly and second, about the money being owed raised by $50.00 without my receiving a reason. Was informed later by the sub contracting company used by ReSupply that is was due to 2 flights of stairs and the double recliner couch being "unsellable"? or a word meaning that. Our condo has an elevator and the product fits in this elevator. Chris will check into all of the above especially the movers perhaps getting switched because he assured me that all the movers are properly trained. Edit: After a stressful day of trying to figure out what to do with these 4 large items, Resupply did find a driver in my area who ended up arriving at 5:30pm... he was given the wrong address (17 instead of 71)... but in the end JFrog saved the day. Resupply needs to do a better job communicating with and confirming that their 3rd parties are actually going to show up. I do appreciate that they continued to look for and found a solution. I wish I could give them zero. Choosing to pay a veteran owned business that Goodwill uses... so you're donating AND paying, but supporting which would be fine if the company had any interest in being reputable. First canceled on me for a pick up of a couch, loveseat, king mattress, and box spring originally scheduled for 8/12. Assured me they'd be here today, after I told them I was closing on my house this afternoon. After missing the window and two calls where I sat on hold, I was assured a call back and that they'd get someone here. Two hours later, I'm right up against my closing, on hold with these clowns and keep being asked to leave a message by an automated attendant. I am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with this service. We wanted to donate my mother's furniture to Goodwill in Monmouth Cty, NJ and we were forced to use this company. The only thing they did right was to show up for the pickup, however, they attempted to charge me 3X what they quoted me based on their own estimation calculator. I was quoted about $350 and they ended up billing me almost $1000. I contested this based on the fact that we actually donated less than we planned, and that their classification of charges per piece was vastly misleading. I eventually got a refund of about $300 after threatening to go to the Better Business Bureau and NJ State Governor's office (and spending a bunch of time debating the charges with a variety of people in their organization). The manager was excited to give me a partial refund - maybe they should've been reputable and honest upfront with their 'service' so I could've avoided it. Do yourself a favor, leave your nice furniture outfront of your house for free - someone will actually benefit from it (and it won't cost you a fortune). read more

I get a pick up window of 8-12. Then told it would be 12-2. Then text back again at 2, 3:30, and 5:45 wondering where they are. Finally get an answer at 6:30pm stating an unforseen circumstances song and dance but they don't take large items. Again, full list of items given 2 weeks prior. Terrible business practice. And the timing does little more but put me in a bind to try to get these items out before my move date. Also noted that not much is addressed by the owner unless it's a raving review. I've learned that just because the words Vetern owned are part of the name doesn't necessarily mean it's a good company which is a real shame. We we're quoted a price for a pick up and the end price was over double the quote. One item which we were told would go the charity actually had to go to the dump. It was a two piece item so the cost was $120 extra. The yahoo's who picked up the furniture we're either trying to pull something or couldn't count. After complaining to the company we did get a refund but it still wasn't near the quoted price even after paying the $120 extra. Resupply needs to know who they are having pick up items. Even though they partly fixed the over charges I would never recommend them or use them again. This was for my 94 year old mother going to an assisted living care. Disgusting! read more

Scam! I had appointment with 4-hour time frame. They confirmed and charged me. There is no way to speak with an actual person, only text messages that take 30+ minutes to respond to you on. I was introduced to this company via a furniture donation to Goodwill. Resupply apparently handles the transportation of donated items scheduled for pick up. Resupply subcontracts local junk trucks to do the actual pickup and delivery. It seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I filled out the Goodwill online form and received a quote. The Junk Truck guy ended up charging me almost double the original online quote. He was perturbed I even questioned it. It was obvious this is a regular occurrence. He became aggressive and said they could remove the furniture from their truck. It was really uncomfortable. I will never do this again. read more

She confirmed that the information the scheduler had provided me was true; there was a local charity that accepted mattresses in good condition. She also told me that the driver would be retrained. I want to commend the executive leadership at ReSupply for reaching out to me personally after reading my devastating review regarding the terrible service I received while attempting to close my mother's estate. After reading my review, they revisited their email/chat log and understood why my review read what it did. ReSupply leadership made it right by following through on the refund they offered me but, more importantly, both Matt and Chris took the time to listen to how they can better improve their customer service by listening to an actual customer. You don't get that level of concern from most other businesses. I expressed to them both that in my intentional hiring of a veteran-run, veteran-employing business, I do expect that those gentlemen behave with a level of disciplined respect one earns after enlisting. Cancelled at the last minute, leaving me stuck with the furniture I wanted to donate. The web site said that their drivers take everything, then determine what can be used and what has to be recycled. If an item has to be recycled, there is an extra charge. I had a couch that in excellent condition and a chair with a stain. Based on their information, I figured out that they would take the chair to be reused and recycle the stained chair. I also accepted that I would have to pay extra for this. I put all of this info into my pickup request. I selected a pickup day and time (between noon and 5:00 P.M.). The day before, I got an email that the pickup was still scheduled and I even had an assigned driver. At 3:00 P.M., I got an email that my pickup was canceled, "due to unanticipated problems with the driver." It turns out that you can't call them. You can only communicate by text. I began a lengthy back and forth by text, with a rep. It turned out that because of the stain, the driver refused to come at all. It took about an hour to get this all figured out and I was beyond frustrated! I was having new furniture delivered the next day and I live in a small apartment. I ended up having a relative move my old furniture to a corner of the room, to make room for the furniture delivery, while I eventually found a new service to pick it up. read more

Our first time using ReSupply and we were very pleased with the exellent service. First, they were very responsive when I texted them for an update on our pickup. Jacob and Jeremiah showed up our our apt with a big smile and made the process go smoothly. They did a great job moving our sofa and two very large bookshelves out of the tight apt (with no marks on the walls). There were no surprises on the bill, too. Resupply is a scam! I was charged $10 just to schedule. Then, $150 to pick up a completely disassembled Thomasville cabinet in good condition. Then, after they loaded the item which was so easy I could have done it myself, they told me I would see a $50 charge for taking the item to the landfill "in case" Habitat for Humanity rejected it, otherwise I would get a refund of the $50. Habitat states they "take furniture in any condition." How am I supposed to know if Habitat rejected OR EVEN SAW my cabinet? I contacted resupply by text and was sent a bunch of CYA policies, copied and pasted. They ignored my voicemail. My objection to the $50 "in case it goes to the landfill" fee scam was completely ignored and they have no record of what happened to my cabinet. I was also charged a $7.40 fuel fee which was not part of the original fee. The total charged to my card was $202.38 which is an outrageous fee based on deception and lies!
