This family shop is a neighborhood gem! Pleased to have met Melvin and Nestor. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I needed a new wheel, while Melvin worked on my bike I took in the atmosphere--kids stopping in for air and adjustments to their skateboards, and other customers old and new. Everyone was warmly welcomed and given the attention and help they needed--including the adorable kittens these guys rescued from the dumpster! Took my bike for repair left it there like they asked me to,they told me to get back at 12 that day it should be ready by noon gave all my information so they could call me to let me know if it was ready they never called , so i decided to go at 1:00 pm it was not ready . they promise too much and cant deliver on it.if you take a bike for repair they will not call you to let you know if is ready or no or that they do not find the parts needed bad bad communication.they suck at it. read more

I wanted to stop in and write a quick review. I hadn't been bike riding for years and recently purchased bicycles for my two boys and the rest of the family as well. I was looking for a bicycle shop and decided to try this one out since I had seen it from time to time while driving in the area and saw that they are open later than a lot of other shops in the area. I must say the service is great no matter who you helps you, all are very down to earth and willing to help. Prices are very reasonable. This place has it all, phenomenal service, low prices and open late. If your looking for a bicycle shop, whether for repairs, accessories or just some advice, this is your spot! read more

I walked into this shop looking for some inner tubes and to have some basic maintenance done on my bike. Simple, right? Wrong. Apparently on the weekends, the owners leave their shop in the hands of incompetent and shiftless employees who sit by the cash register and stare at the patrons. These turds couldn't care less. After standing at the cash register for what seemed like an eternity, a tall goof holding an air hose addresses me "what's up, dude?" I thought, okay I'll play along. "Yeah dude, I need some work done on my bike and some new inner tubes." He responds "I don't think we have that size, dude. This place deals more with fixie's, know what I mean?" I literally had to look around to see if anyone was witnessing this conversation. I mean the place has "Retro" in their name. I respond "No, I don't what you mean. This is a bike shop right? And you're an employee, right?" He responds, "Look man, I got a get everyone out of here." I look at my watch and it's at least two hours before closing time. He then says "I got to get home, like right now" and then starts pushing my bike out of the shop! I was stunned. He then locked the door with about five people inside. I stood there completely stunned. Did that just happen? Was this a real bike shop? Were they pushing me out so they could shoot up? I don't know if the experience is different on weekdays but who cares? If the owners are letting riff raff like this run their shop for even ten minutes, they need to seriously rethink their business model. You'd get better service from one of those transients that fixes bikes out of his van. Avoid. read more

Great place. They used to be across the street in an old magazine rack, but now there in a shop! Anyways, they are the best bike shop in the valley. I can get things for my bike AND have even found things that work on my vintage moped -brake cables, chrome mirrors (that's cool 'cause most bike shops have plastic ones now) ... and even a wide seat. Prices are always fair, so for me it's worth the drive over when I need bike stuff. read more

Every technician knows that when dismantling a device he must allocate a tray for the segments.! I went there for replacing the gear shifters on the handles. They promised to finish it the same day around noon. I went there in the evening and they said that it hasn't been so easy and it will be ready tomorrow morning. I went there the next day at the last moments to make sure that they have finished the job. When I took the bike home I noticed that they forgot to inflate the rear tire and forgot to reinstall the two end plugs on the handlebar. I went there again, they said that they have trashed the parts.! They promised to prepare them on Saturday but when I went there they said that they could not find it.! I went there five times for a simple part replacement, and I am sure that the original parts of my Proflex will never be found in the market. And it happened when I paid all the money they asked without any bargaining, and I insisted that: I only need Quality.!!! read more

I have a BOB stroller and needed 3 new inner tubes and linings. I was told they could fix it for a mere fraction of the price of REI where I purchased the stroller and am a member! When I stopped by I recognized it instantly as I have driven past it easily 100 times before and never really paid much attention to it. The incredibly friendly owner gave me a discount on top of an already low price because I brought all three wheels to him! It was busy with customers when I dropped them off and picked them up. This was easily the worst experience I've ever had at a bicycle repair shop. The staff was 35 minutes late arriving from the posted opening time, and when I commented on that and what an inconvenience it was, the employee merely brushed it off. I was there to pickup my bike after tire repairs, and even though I paid a few days prior, left my name and phone number- he didn't believe me when I said that I had already purchased parts and for the repair. After a 5 minute phone call to his boss, he still didn't believe me and I eventually just left with my payed for bike. But on the way out, said employee yelled at me that I was too poor to pay for a bike, and that I had covid. His manager suddenly appeared with three other men as I was putting my bike in the car, and threatened to attack me if I didn't leave, all the while the first employee berated and said vile things. I will never even think of coming here again, even though it's easily the closest bike shop near me, and I hope after reading this review, you will heed and take caution and not support this business. There are other bike shops in much safer and nicer areas that you can go to that you won't have such horrible customer service and overpriced merchandise. read more

This place did a great job, but it's my experience with a customer there that I gave it 2 stars. Flat tires fixed in no time and the person fixing the bike was very professional. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because one of their customers kept harassing me for a date. My kids were with me and i told this jerk to leave me alone and go away. This jerk followed us to the car and that's when I pretty much let him have it. I did tell one of the employees there that this guy is bothering me and nothing was done. It would've been nice if one of the guys that work there would've said something to him. I won't be going back, I did not feel safe, but they did a great job. read more
