I lived in the place for 5 yrs at the time of moving out, I mentioned this to him and because I wanted him to know that it wasn't going to be a regular cleaning. He said it's taken about 2.5 to 3 hrs to complete. He came over at the agreed time, by himself, and got started... It took him almost 4.5hrs if I remember right. He did the best he could considering that it was probably a bit more than we thought... I just wanted him to concentrate on the kitchen and bathroom since that's where the majority of the work was anyway but I didn't want to micro-manage him so I left to unbox stuff at the new place. As I said it took him longer than we thought because I returned about 2hrs later and he was no where close to finished. So I left to run a few errands and came back an hour later, I felt bad so I didn't really look anything over too closely and he left. He did a great job, as I said before, for one person doing the job that should have been done by two. I looked over things a bit closer before the inspection and spent about an hour taking care of the things that were missed but I don't fault him for them... Mostly misc little things. I appreciate his help and do recommend him and his services the only reason I give it 3 star rating is because I was expecting two people as was discussed and it took longer than expected because of it.

He found out that our issue was due to a failing siding/flashing situation and that discovery saved us a lot of headache. Because the roof/siding work was outside restore-aid's purview, we ultimately went with a roofing company to resolve the issue end to end. I hope I never have mold issues related to plumbing, but if I do I'm giving my business to restore-aid, no questions asked. Honesty in this industry seems like a rare gem, and the price restore-aid quoted for the internal remediation was very fair. The only reason we didn't go with them is that the roof and siding needed to be fixed and we wanted all of the work to be done by a single party in case the issue wasn't fully resolved. Restore-Aid really went to town and was not satisfied until they figured out the root cause. Dude had his moisture detector and was going in and outside, in and out of our attic, around different nearby rooms and asking a bunch of salient questions. I worked with Jesse and his team to finish a commercial remodeling project that another contractor…read morehad done a good job on, but abandoned the project at about 95% done. I paid Jesse $15k to finish this job, and he was aware of each element of the project including trim work, painting, and fixing the floors that were not glued down properly. We started the project well, and the work done on the crown molding looked good. They touched up some drywall texture and it looked really rough in certain areas, and was much heavier than the existing texture. It seemed the guys didn't really know what they were doing with texture. He did fix it somewhat, although there are still areas where you can visibly see it does not match. Also some of the doors/trim that were painted were done quickly with a very heavy textured brush, and should have been done with a light roller to match the others. But for the most part they fixed things we pointed out and they looked better by the end. Where the issues really came in was at the end. Jesse told us to blue tape everything that needed to be redone and we did. They then came and "fixed" it and removed the tape, however we noticed many of the things we taped looked the same and the tape had just been removed. We did that three or four times and there was still things that they were just removing tape on. I then walked it with him and he said he was going to fix the things I pointed out, including flooring that still needed to be glued back down. He then sent guys over and they didn't do any of the things we discussed. He told me to blue tape it AGAIN, and I said no that they are just removing the tape and not doing the work, but if he sends guys we will show them what to fix. Fast forward a few months, and the last few things we had taped were never fixed, floor tiles are still bubbling up that he was supposed to fix, and he says because he did "extra work" that he is no longer responsible to finish the actual job he contractually agreed to. (The "extra work" he referred to was putting in drywall ceiling instead of drop ceiling in a room addition. We had never discussed or agreed to a drop ceiling so I was going to cancel the job, but he agreed to switch it to keep the job.) I tried to come to an agreement with him and potentially give him more work if he finished the previous job. However he didn't even show up when he said he would to quote me on it, so at this point I'm just going to find a new contractor. I'm disappointed but I only want to work with people who keep their word and honor their contracts. Attached part of contract and screenshots of texts.

Our neighbor was pleased with the service, so we had PSCC do our house. We moved all the furniture we could out the way and off all the carpet. Only thing left on the carpet was the beds, and one large, heavy, piece of furniture. I then vacuumed every bit of our carpet until the dirt sensor, on the vacuum, glowed green (indicating no dirt). Note: While the "cleaning wand" can reach a bit under the beds, the furniture could only be cleaned around. Doug H. was our "Lead Technician". I think he did a good job. Now Yelp used to call 5 stars "As good as it gets", and never having this done before, I wouldn't know. But now Yelp calls 5 stars great, and 4 stars good. And since I think a good job was done, I'll go with 4. About the only thing I didn't like is that our living room was considered two rooms, "because of the size." Also, closets are cleaned at a flat rate of $30 (which seemed high, but we did get a 2 for deal deal). When Doug finished, he turned on the ceiling fans in all the rooms. I also had cracked all the windows in all the rooms to get some fresh air. We did find one spot that needed a little extra work, but Doug did get it out. We were told to try to stay off the carpet for 6 to 8 hours, but if we had to go on it, wear white socks. I went barefoot the one time I had to get something from one of the rooms. It seemed it took a little longer to dry, but in the end we were pleased with the work done. Oh, our water supply was used, via the hose bib on the side of the house. Bottom line: And now it's almost time to list our home.
