It was busy a bit of a challenge to find parking in the lot due to being in a strip mall center. Next, place was busy on a Friday evening but were seating immediately at the "community" table. I guess people don't like sitting there because we had it all to ourselves. Onto the food ... we had the pan seared salmon, whiskey, bourbon, dessert of some sort, sliders, and meatloaf. Came here for the first time for lunch. The place was packed but we were seated right away. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich and my wife had the Thai chicken noodle salad -- both came in huge portions. The food was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the service was excellent. The Brussel sprouts were somehow crispy and juicy all at the same time. The house mix for the deviled eggs was the best I've ever had. And that blackened halibut? Might be the first time I've eaten a sandwich before touching the fries. Met with my mom and sister here; it was a beautiful day and they have a nice patio with umbrellas and heat lamps. Unfortunately, there were no tables available outside, but they had plenty of tables next to windows so that was really nice too. The left side of the restaurant is a little darker and a little more noise. The bar is large and a comfortable place to sit if you're dining solo. I forget the name of our waiter but he was super friendly and very attentive. We always had full waters and drinks and he cleared old plates out of the way in a prompt manner. We ordered the following: Jalapeño poppers Deviled eggs Prime rib dip sandwich Crunchy chicken sandwich Beet salad, sub spinach A butterfly pea cocktail Everything was great! I loved the poppers and the prime rib sandwich the most. The meat was super tender and cut nicely. The bread on the sandwiches is really delicious. The poppers were fresh and nice ratio of filling to jalapeno and the bacon was tasty. My sister loved her cocktail so much she ordered two. I also enjoyed the beet salad a lot. I'd definitely order again. Dressing was good and light, a nice healthy option that had a lot of flavor. At the end of our meal we were brought some hot steamy towels to wipe our hands. Great touch. So simple but sets them apart and makes the experience memorable. Parking is free, but busy at lunchtime since there's a lot of other shops in the same center. I had the fluorine Benedict with fries. It was very good and filling. For me, I like to say, if they have good ranch then the food is good. And it was when I had it with my fries. I also got the hibiscus margarita, which had no flavor other than the tequila. It looked good but it tasted as if I was just drinking a glass of tequila. The asparagus spears were flavorful and crunchy and the ribs sweet and spicy . For the entree, I had Rosemary's chicken and biscuits, which is similar to chicken fried steak but instead of beef, it was chicken . It was absolutely delicious. It was crunchy and full of flavor. We ordered drinks and a variety of entrees, namely: french toast, florentine benedict, short rib benedict, nashville hot, bruleed oatmeal, butter cake. French Toast- Custardy with nice crisp edges. It was the right amount of sweetness and paired well with syrup. I ordered a side of bacon to go with it and was given an ample amount. Florentine Benedict- Creamy and loaded with a good amount of spinach. The flavors worked well together and it was served with a side of fruit. Short Rib Benedict- This was perfectly meaty and fun to eat! Served on biscuits and topped with crunchy onions which was a lovely twist. The short rib was seasoned well and tender. Nashville Hot- The chicken was crispy with the right amount of heat, seasoning, and sweetness! Served with creamy mac and cheese and green beans. Bruleed Oatmeal- It felt like eating dessert without the guilt. The oatmeal was nice and fluffy. It was topped generously with a variety of fruit and finished with caramelized sugar. Went looking for prime rib but found a good ribeye instead. The prime rib wasn't available until after 4 pm. So I'll have to go back another day. The outside of the building doesn't do justice to the welcoming feeling you get when you walk inside. We got there around 1:30 and the place had pretty full for a Friday afternoon. Rachel Kurly was our server. She was so nice and service was terrific. We got our drinks. Then ordered our food. My husband ordered the charred romaine stack. I had the ribeye ~ mouthwatering. It came with a jalapeño potato stack with cheese (it looked like a cube of cake) and asparagus. Both side dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take any pictures ~ next time. I came to have dinner on an early Friday evening as it was located close to my hotel. I am visiting from San Diego. The large scale of the interior is deceiving from the outside as it is huge. Being situated in a strip mall, the restaurant is very large. From what I could see, there were at least 16 tables for four people with 5 tables of six or more scattered near the bar. There were 18 seats at the bar but the chairs are literally smashed together so you are sitting on top of the person next to you. I opted to sit at a table. For my drink, I ordered the Blackberry Breeze - with Skyy vodka, St. Germaine and blackberries. As a fan of everything St. Germaine and vodka, I loved this cocktail. It was presented beautifully and was stronger than expected. Gave me a pleasant burn going down and settled in my tummy. My waiter was Ben who was covering for Melissa as she was on break. He was friendly and served me with a smile. I only had Ben for ten minutes before Melissa returned. She wasn't quite as attentive as Ben as she never checked in on me while I was eating and I was done with my cocktail before she asked if I wanted a second on but she was nice. I was torn between four entrees. Ben suggested the Rosemary's Chicken and Biscuits as that is the most popular entree on the menu. I went with his advice. The chicken was piping hot. The crust was amazing. At first, I didn't like that when I cut it, the crust separated from the chicken but I was able to get both in a single bite. I liked that the chicken was boneless so I didn't have to deal with getting messy with my fingers trying to eat around a bone. The portion of mashed potatoes was big. The chicken and mashed potatoes were not dry but I wish there was a side of gravy as I couldn't see any with the exception of the gravy drizzled over the top. I like gravy everywhere. Once I ate the part with the gravy, everything else was dry. The roasted vegetables that accompanied the dish were squash and zucchini. They were seasoned and well cooked. So I didn't feel too bad as that was somewhat healthy. Biscuit was a little harder around the edge and slightly on the dry side eaten by itself. I then added the butter and it was better but not great. Everyone worn solid black uniforms with a Reunion pin which are very professional and present an upscale look but I wish the staff had name tags so I could flag someone down easier. I ordered the Butter Cake for dessert as I had to see if it was better than the best butter cake I have ever had. It wasn't. This version was more dense, thicker and closer to a consistency of cheesecake. It is harder to describe as there are sections of the cake. The middle is denser than the outside ring. I didn't get a cake like texture. Then the bottom didn't have a distinctive texture like graham cracker. It was good but just different. Would I order it again, probably not. I would try the lemon dessert next time. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant to others. read more

Came here again with my mother-in-law for dinner and drinks. We had kind of a bad experience. There was a table next to the bar so we sat there. When we'd been there before, there were communal tables that you shared with other guests. Some ladies came over to us and said it was reserved for them. There wasn't a reserved sign so we were confused. They were very bitchy and entitled. So we went over to the bar where there was one seat and waited for there to be a second seat. Eventually got two seats at the bar and proceeded to order appetizers for dinner, our favorite way to eat. Rest of the evening was okay except for a gentleman sitting next to my mother-in-law who kept hitting on her. Like, back off buddy, can't you tell she's not interested, she's just being polite. So quite a few of our family went to this restaurant just to get together. There were 14 of us and our server was Ashley. She was pretty pretty good, we were all outside at a big table. The place was packed inside and out. I didn't realize when I ordered an old-fashioned with a certain bourbon it would be more. I think next time I would just order the house bourbon. Anyway, most of us all had at least two drinks, some picked off the specialty menu and some didn't. There were no complaints. Let's see one person had the prime rib and said it was very good. Two people had the sea bass and also loved it. Two of us had the surf and turf, but it was a special. The surf was shrimp and the turf was this yummy meat with a great sauce. Someone had their hamburger, and some great fries, three people had the braised short ribs. We got three of the desserts, pumpkin butter, cake, whiskey, pecan butter, cake, and whiskey bread pudding.
