Food is pretty good, but maybe the execution was off on this visit. 4/5 Cobb salad has too much sweet bbq sauce. It made the whole salad almost taste like a dessert. Also, if you are expecting to get egg yolks in your egg, you'll be disappointed. They've removed all the yolk for use in their deviled eggs. 3/5 jalapeño poppers a couple of them were overly cooked and had a bitter taste.

Ambiance - nice, classy atmosphere Service - very good service, our server checked in on us frequently to refill our coffee and water. When I ordered my leftover tuna melt sandwich to go, I was impressed that the server labeled the box and dated it. This little detail showed the server cares for its customers. Food - came here for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. I ordered a tuna melt sandwich, my hubby ordered a short rib benedict; other people in our party ordered chilaquiles, omelet and burger. The burger was very large that two people were able to share it. Everyone seemed to be satisfied with their food except my hubby and I. The tuna in my sandwich was super salty, I could barely eat it. Still, I asked to take my leftover home so I can remedy it by adding pickles or something sweet to temper the saltiness. My hubby said his short rib benedict was meh, nothing to write home about. I didn't want to ruin my friend's birthday by making a fuss about our orders. I am just quite surprised how anyone can screw up a tuna sandwich. By the way, this was not the only place this has happened. It is my favorite sandwich and unfortunately, I have been let down many times - Superba (too dry), Goat and Vine (too salty) and now here. They should try this sandwich at Cafe R&D in Newport Beach or even Corner Bakery where they make it well. So disappointing and sad!

I originally wanted to order the Dad's Ribeye, but the menu only listed it as "MP" instead of showing an actual price. That's always been a pet peeve of mine. I understand using market price for certain seafood, but it feels a little odd for a steak. Our server told us it was $65, which seemed pretty steep for a restaurant that isn't primarily known as a steakhouse. For a dish at that price point, I was hoping for a better description. I asked how it was prepared and what the flavor profile was, but the explanation was pretty vague. The server was just like "just a regular steak." What!? That doesn't give me the confidence to order a $65 steak. Instead, I got the Flat Iron Steak. It was okay, not really what I was looking for. I tend to prefer fattier, more tender cuts like ribeye, and this steak was a bit firmer and drier than I'd hoped. The accompanying sauce helped, but it wasn't enough. We also tried the Seafood Cioppino, which was decent, though it had more broth than seafood. I would've preferred a heartier portion of seafood and a little less liquid. Overall, it was an okay lunch. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to order the same dishes again.

Went on a double date; our friend picked it since it was right next to the Brea Improv (which we went to a show afterwards). Never even heard of this place before but it was REALLY good, we really enjoyed it a lot. The cocktails were great as was all of the food we got. Started out with a soft baked pretzel. It was salty, buttery and tasty. I got the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious as were the shoe string fries. I got a side of ranch to dip them in and that was scrumptious (some places don't have good ranch, this place wasn't one of them). My husband got one of the specials that day; a steak that came with asparagus and risotto. He enjoyed it and said the steak was cooked perfectly. But let me make a suggestion: ask how much the special is because they don't tell you and you will have sticker shock when the bill comes because.... WHOA. It was (nearly) $70 dollars for that plate. SEVENTY DOLLARS. What?! Our friends got brisket sliders, fries and wings. They liked all of it. We also tried their wings, which were good.

Came here over the past weekend to hang out with a friend and just enjoy some games on the TV. I arrived right before the brunch menu ended and was glad to have gotten a bloody mary in. The server/bartender was amazing and took care of us signficantly. The area was chill and calm. Food, the portions are huge so please bare that in mind when you order.

I've been to reunion in Anaheim hills so I am familiar with the concept and their food and just like the Anaheim hills location, Brea hit the mark with flavorful food and great ambience! I enjoyed everything except for the Thai chicken noodle salad. I was hoping for an Asian flavor but the avocado threw me off. Also, the entire salad was julienned except for the big chunks of jicama. I also think the noodles is too thin and would have liked spaghetti noodles instead. One other thing that would have given this Review a better score would have been getting our Asian ribs brought out as an appetizer as we had ordered it. It came out after our meals so we didn't get to enjoy them as much and had to pack them to go. Would come back to try other items as there's so many great choices on the menu!

We came here for an early Father's Day celebration and the food was very tasty and the portions were large. I had the BBQ Cobb salad and it had a good amount of chicken. The stroganoff was flavorful and we took some home for both items. The server was attentive and patient as my parents can be a bit more demanding during meals. I would happily come back here.

Ok this place has great food quality Service 5/5 My dish was 4/5 today Ambiance 4.5/5 Impressed! Will come back! My service was 5/5 because u consume my waters very quickly, she was able to keep up without me asking for refills you 100% did great! My dish came out piping hot. Wow it was good! Came here on a busy friday night thankfully someone in my group had made the wise decision to call ahead to make a reservation! We were seated promptly! Loved the vibe inside a nice modern interior with clean appearance. We orders drinks, the mai tai was amazing definitely a strong drink and we tried a few of the appetizers and the ribs were a favorite. I loved that they gave warm hand towels to help clean your hands. I orderedthe fish and chips which were good but the fries were kind of cold when they were served. Otherwise everything else was good!

We hadn't been here in a while and decided to come back and try something new on their menu. Of course we brought our own wine for the free corkage. That is one of their best perks. The staff was friendly as usual, and we got sat pretty quick as we came in for a late lunch. On this visit, I decided to try their tuna melt sandwich and my boyfriend decided to have a hamburger. His hamburger was huge and he enjoyed every bite of it. My tuna melt was delicious and also a generous portion. There are many food options in the area and this is one that is worth a stop. They have a wide variety of food options from appetizers, casual bar food, salads to full on entrées.

This place is good for date night or a celebration. It's a restaurant with classy bar vibes. The theme / atmosphere is dim lit / fancy dinner. The service here was great and the waiters are attentive. They are not spread out thin like other restaurants. The food here is delicious. I would recommend the rosemary fried chicken. It is a bit on the pricier end, but that is standard for this type of restaurant/ style of dining. I would be coming here again.

We came here for Mother's Day. We watched a movie at Regal (across the street) and we walked to Reunion. We had a reservation at 730 pm and they sat us exactly at that time. Service was amazing! We had a big group for a baby shower and they were on top of everything. Happy hour is great! A lot of options and all taste delicious. We ordered the mini charcuterie board but did need to order more bread with it. The deviled eggs were huge and tasted great. Also ordered the blue cheese sliders. The drinks were really good, the food was bomb, and the waitress was superb. I ordered the habiscus margarita and the fried chicken. Upon ordering a starter I asked Pahola - our waitress what she recommended and she said the sliders without hesitation! She was excited to talk abt them so I ordered them. They did not disappoint. The meat was so tendon and juicy and the sauce; that I would describe as brown gravy was so yummy and took the sliders over the top. Pahola was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu. honestly she was a breath of fresh air! Her sunny disposition and upbeat demeanor made our first visit that much more special. Jennifer was an Amazing server! Food was delicious, if you like spicy, I highly recommend the Jalapeno Margarita & the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños! So delicious. We also tried the Brie Honey Chicken Sandwich, I didn't want to share! It was that good! My family enjoyed the Thai Chicken Salad, they loved that peanut dressing. We also enjoyed the Pancetta Penne, we added blackened shrimp, highly recommend!! The Bob's Fudge dessert is the Only Way we will ever end our dinner at Reunion from now on. Had a patty melt, it was perfection. So delicious, cooked medium, juicy and melt in your mouth good! Cheddar slices in it are legit, really quality cheddar. Rye bread grilled with parm, my perfect side selection was cole slaw with blue cheese and I ate it everything and am never a finisher...never! Great service provided by KIANA H. She was so kind, knowledgable on all menus and showed a true caring about me being pleased with everything. Great waitress! Cool ambiance inside with med/low light, dark and super comfortable booth. First of all - the server was very nice, efficient and friendly for the most part. We ordered the asparagus spears as an appetizer - they were salty and the bottom of most of them were woody. I ordered the Louisiana Hot Chicken with green beans. I asked for double green beans instead of the Mac n' Cheese. They were good and the portion was very large. It was supposed to come with a biscuit and hot honey which I never saw. The chicken was heavily breaded and fried with a sauce slathered on. It was chewy and there was a lot of breading. Came here for brunch. Since this location is fairly new, there weren't a lot of reviews talking about brunch, but I had been to brunch at their Anaheim location, so I took the chance. Thus is the place we go to when we want to feel the comfort of family and best friends. The tables and ambiance are set up to allow for conversation. The food and wine selections are all... comfort. Our favorite are the salads and desserts. Oh yes and the red wine. We love being able to watch games at the bar. Finally, they hire the best servers. Water is filled constantly and you order can be made as soon as you sit down - well at least for us because we have the menu memorized. Awesome place to hang with those who are most important- wd always make reservations. read more

Finally tried this place!! No regrets for the wait time but next time I will definitely make reservations. My husband and I had the OC sourdough burger, calamari and the Prime rib dip sandwich with the warm potato salad. But let me tell you as a first timer, no complains everything was so tasty and warm. I definitely will come back to try everything on the menu. The ambiance is good and the bar drinks look good. The plate portions are pretty big, I could have shared with my hubby. Accidentally ended up here 2 days in a row when we got our improv date wrong. So happy we did. The snacks were great we had the Brussels, the blue cheese sliders, calamari, and miso noodles. All tasty and great to share. Today we had the jalapeño margarita, oc sourdough burger, and blackened ahi salad (the wasabi vinaigrette is amazing). Drink times were a little long, but this is a restaurant that's still getting its reps in. Even with the wait on cocktails, which I'm sure will wane as they get into a groove of service. 10/10. If you're hitting a movie, going to the improv, or just wanna hit a date night; this place is great. Will be back 100% read more

The room is beautifully renovated to a tee~ the old copper blues building (shared entrance to Brea Chop House.) sandwiches are large and delicious on parmesan-crusted sourdough OR marveled-rye. prices are a little more, but the ingredients and quantity is worth it. This restaurant was great! Our server Davey recommended one of the specials -the salmon and shrimp that came with asparagus and everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! My friends ordered the beef short ribs and they loved it! We also had the deviled eggs and spinach dip appetizer both were very good! Davey suggested the butter cake (we were so full we almost passed it up) so glad we didn't because it was one of the best butter cakes ever. It was pretty busy as there is an improv comedy theater right next door, however Davey made sure the entire time we were there to check in on us but was not overbearing at all. The decor was nice, the lighting was ok, they offered booths and tables and had a full bar. 10/10 :) read more

We have been to the Reunion in Anaheim Hills many times. Everything is a well oiled machine and the food is great there. Reunion in Brea is nothing short of great as well. You can book reservations easily online. The seating is great and the food is great as well. If I had one thing they could work on is the crappy wi-fi signal. This place occupies the old Copper blues location. Entry is in the center at the same entry as the Improv. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food, good service and ambience. Came here for a meeting with a client and it was a very good experience. Rosemary Chicken was great, it was a thin lightly breaded and fried chicken breast a top of red skinned mashed potatoes and the French onion soup was really delicious and spot on. The service was excellent! The food for the 4 of us: 1 burger melt was great, the rest of us was mediocre that we will never visit the restaurant again. My California omelette was just smothered in cheese with on top avocado blurbs and inside with bacon bits. Steak and eggs was ok, but strange cut hush browns and cold by the 3 of us. Let me just start by saying WOW! Came in with a large party on a busy Friday night and had the best time. We were sat at two high top tables by the bar with a great view of the television. Our waitress Quincy was extremely helpful & attentive. She gave great recommendations on both food & drinks and made sure we were well taken care of. Great experience overall. Service was great! We were greeted by friendly/happy staff, Our server was very friendly and had a great attitude! All the employees seemed to be pretty happy to be there! A huge thanks to the staff for their positive attitude because it made our dining experience that much more pleasant. We tried several of their appetizers including avocado wonton! Out of the three appetizers we tried, that was the best! Main dishes were great as well! Be sure to leave some room for desserts!! A MUST TRY: warm butter cake and fudge cake!!! According to the menu, you can make any burger a combo for an extra $5, and since a small fry is just a tad over $5, it's kind of like a combo is giving you a free Coke. When the food came out and I took a bite of my burger, I realized that I was going to want more 1000 Island spread than the burger had to offer (what can I say, I'm a sauce guy!) Surprise, surprise, - that turned out to be an extra $0.65. I had some cash on me, so I just gave the cashier a dollar and got back to my food. The burger was not bad. The fried zucchini had decent texture, but the breading was a bit thick for my preference and it lact flavor. All in all, the meal was just sorta okay. Price wise, it was definitely on the high side! I don't need for for restaurant meal that I enjoy to make me feel like I'm getting some kind of bargain, but if I'm paying premium pricing, I expect an outstanding. I don't see myself coming back.

However, as with many things in life, it seems that time has taken the passion out of the staff and the food culture suffers as a result. From room temperature hash browns, to undercooked steak, to questionable menu items (see Miso Noodle appetizer) -- you can tell that the passion for food and community is in the rearview mirror for this joint. Maybe I shouldn't have said at the bar and that's where I made a mistake because the service was so slow and they forgot to put in my food, so I told him to just forget about it and stick to drinks on top of it. After I insisted and told her we did make the reservation, she agreed to move us, but only to a round table of almost the same size but still felt extremely tight. To make things worse, right after we sat down, another group with the exact same configuration (4 white adults + 1 child) was given a large 8 person table made of two square tables pushed together. They had plenty of room, extra chairs for their bags while we had to keep all our bags behind us, taking up even more of our already limited seating space. Luckily none of us are big, but even so, it was a squeeze. We ordered a fair amount of food, but the table was so small that we couldn't even place our phones beside the plates - we had to stack them on top of each other. When the waiter tried to bring our pizza, he couldn't find any space to put it down. I told him, "I'm sorry, but our table is really too small." So he had to stand by the table while we quickly finished sharing one dish, so that he could take the plate off and finally make room for the pizza. The whole experience felt unfair and poorly managed. A reservation should guarantee a table that actually fits the party size especially when they have plenty of tables available. Very disappointing.

We finally stood up and as we were leaving, he asked for a minute of our time to which we said, it's ok, we're good. I write this for others to consider if you're celebrating a special day. She takes the plate away and says yeah we can do that. 5 mins later she comes back and says, the manager said, "that you would have to repurchase another pancake and that we wouldn't remake it" i don't like to make a fuss nor do I usually try to make issues for establishments but I think that a request to remake a kids pancake when the one you initially made was burned is reasonable for me to ask. so when my husband intervened, and spoke with the manager, his reply was, "I don't want to remake the pancake," when my husband asked him why? "I just don't want to. We have plumbing issues and I have the right to refuse service to anyone" The point though is we paid for a service that was not provided adequately. And when a business works on the ground of no ethics and courtesy, I find it fair game to let the public be aware that this is how they run things, letting them deal with the consequences of their actions.
