Really cute place and the food is always amazing. The only drawback is sometimes it's a hit or a miss with the customer service. When the owner is at the register it's always a great interaction but some of the other workers are not as polite. Had a less than ideal interaction with a woman at the counter today. Just some feedback, customer service is make or break for a lot of people even if the food is always spectacular. Even if you're not being outright disrespectful, being short and sassy and "talking back" to customers is not the way to gain loyalty. I'm not sure if I will be back because of this experience today, but I can't say enough about how good the food is. read more

I was visiting the area and looked on HappyCow for recommendations. I was fortunate to find this gem of a place. I ordered take out breakfast of blueberry pancakes and scrambled "just egg" The owner happened to be there and greeted with a warm smile we chatted for a good ten minutes and he informed me of all the different kinds of food and drink they offered. Some other customers showed up and I said thanks and left. I brought the food back and shared some with a friend let's just say we both ordered the next day and told a few others about how awesome the food was I also ordered a bit too much and gave some to another friend who also gushed over how tasty the food was. The only bad thing I have to say isn't even their fault mostly pandemic related. HappyCow said they were open on Sunday and I had about ten people who I had recommended it to tell me they were closed and it was true they had changed their hours and a HappyCow hadn't updated the hours. This was excellent coffee, well roasted and properly brewed. We had two versions of their omelette' sand both were excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this place! This is a newer establishment that is kinda tucked away in a little plaza. I am so happy I located it one day while stopping at a nearby gas station. I am always super apprehensive about just walking into a new place because often times they won't have many, or for that fact any vegan options. Well, to my great surprise this place actually caters to those on a vegan lifestyle. There is vegan butter and cream cheese available for the bagels and toast they serve. They also have an açaí bowl that is so delicious!! The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. I enjoy just sitting there and eating my delicious food while working on my laptop. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The cafe is decorated nicely and is always clean. There are several vegan options on the menu and I can't wait to try them all. My husband and I try to have breakfast together every Friday after we drop the kids off at school. We have tried a few different places in Lutz and have been disappointed with our options. We were happy to see a new Breakfast place open up right down the street form us. My husband went during the soft open and was looking forward to taking me for the grand opening. We went in this morning and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the avocado toast and a small smoothie, I thought my toast was supposed to come with sprouts, but it wasn't served with any. My husband ordered the 3 egg omelet and a small coffee. After tip our breakfast was about $30. All in all it was a good experience, a little pricey for our weekly breakfast date considering we didn't have any meat. Service was great, the place was well decorated and clean, they had plenty of parking. Hoping they can keep everything up and we can make it our weekly breakfast place. read more

The last time I took time to write a review It was a positive one. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service and the food of the restaurant. Sadly this time, after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I was super excited to try this place. I woke my husband and baby at 7:00 am to go to breakfast. Robbie the person that took our order was so short, unpleasant, and unfriendly with us. We were excited asking questions and looking at the menu. She looked annoyed the whole time and didn't volunteer any extra information. They had samples I asked what what was it, and she replied "that's our donuts" (looking even more annoyed). I tried it and asked: is this gluten free? She said yes. I think that she could have offer me one give me all the information at once. But I felt she didn't want to help us out, we got our food but felt uncomfortable the whole time. I believe the owner was there, she seems nice. But I saw her from afar. I think first time customer should always be treated with superb customer service (don't you want them to return?) We have been on a breakfast tour and had excellent food and service at: Empress Tea Room, First Watch, the Biscuit Company, and Genuino Italian Cafe where they make the best late in town . I love supporting local businesses but I'm still thinking if I'll ever come back to Revelations. With all the loving Christian Decorations the staff should be a reflection of that. read more

My husband and I were skeptical about trying Revelations Cafe since it is vegetarian and plant based, and we are not. However, we are glad we tried it and encourage other non-vegetarians to do so as well. The first time we ate inside and had the acai bowl, banana nut waffle, eggs, home fries, and coffee. The food was really good without being too heavy. The second visit was an online order for breakfast. The online ordering system worked perfectly, and our food was ready when when we arrived. Our take-out food quality was good and consistent with our dine-in experience. The decor is aesthetically pleasing. The tables aren't too crowded. The staff are very friendly.
