This is my go-to place for breakfast. It's a non-chain breakfast and lunch spot in Land O'Lakes. Located in the shopping center with Ollie's and Party Liquors, it's nice and convenient location. Service and food here are always good. I've been to other places in the area and the food is inconsistent. Every time I come here, my eggs, bacon, and hash browns are perfectly cooked. The wait staff is very friendly and recognize all the regular customers. They are very good at making sure everything is just right, keeping the coffee flowing and just making everyone feel welcome. They have decorations/wall dividers on the booths to mimic sitting outside in a garden/patio setting. All this, plus the prices are very reasonable as well. Not a big restaurant, but it has a small dinner feel. There is also outdoor seating. The waitress we had was nice. The meal was decent. My only gripe is that we asked for extra crispy hash browns, they were not. The seasoning and salsa on top was good though. It was reasonably priced. As for the food it was just ok, not memorable. It wasn't the worse far from the best. Paid $27 for a bacon egg and cheese on a roll w/ a side of home fries and got the country fried steak with hash browns. The "steak" had a lot of gristle, which I ended up spitting out and the gravy was floury rather than flavorful. Was hoping for a more southern taste, for such a hearty breakfast. Overall, the food was just OK, especially paying nearly $30 (with tip), so prob won't return. My husband comes here just about every weekday morning when he is working and while he was on vacation, took me and the kids to breakfast. This is a small diner style place with tables, booths and bar seating in a plaza so there is lots of parking. We both ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was really yummy. My only complaint is that the bread is smaller than average so the sandwich leaves you wanting more. The staff are super friendly and sweet. Next time I go I'm going to check out the rest of the menu because I just went with what my husband ordered. It looks like they have some pretty yummy stuff! I have eaten at this lovely restaurant many of times and I have never had a problem, food and service are alwsys excellent. I went yesterday for breakfast and could not get over the vile words coming out of one of the waitresses mouth ( tall black haired waitress sounds like she's from New York) I heard her use the F-bomb regarding the customers and the owner of the establishment, I heard this vile woman speak and saw she was making one of the other waitresses upset. I love coming here but to hear these words being spoken about customers is not ok! She needs to be dealt with! This is not acceptable! read more

I have been looking for a great mom and pop breakfast joint and I finally did! These are hard to come back in the new tamp/Wesley chapel area. In a sea of commercialized franchises we have this gem. The whole staff was so pleasant to be around and the food was amazing! The biscuits and gravy were probably my favorite of the mix. The pancake was decent, but a little sense for me. The coffee was really great and didn't taste like the generic ones you get that make you feel like you're drinking rehab coffee. Nice little mom and pop breakfast place! The staff is really friendly, the food is good, and they're pretty fast! My hash browns were perfectly crunchy and my boyfriend really enjoyed his omelet. I really have no complaints, but did find it a bit strange that there was a $2.50 plate sharing fee and 50 cent take home fee. So a nice surprise this morning. I decided to drop in and get an order of biscuits and gravy and as much as it is pricier than most places in the area it sure is good. So I had a few extra minutes today before work and decided to sit down at the bar and enjoy a few minutes to myself and enjoy. I decided I wanted a lil more but I didn't see anything on the menu that put together all I wanted for breakfast this morning. I asked the nice server behind the counter if the items I wanted could placed in a combo and she said no problem and got it done. I opted for the grilled sausage and I'm sure glad that I did. A nice smoky flavor with plenty of grill marks for that extra flavor. The biscuits and gravy are always good and the eggs were over medium as I had requested. I had three eggs over medium with bacon toast and a fruit cup. Hot tea was my beverage of choice today. I sat at the bar as I was solo today. Service was prompt and courteous. Server dropped a few grapes while serving me and insisted on bringing me some more even though I said it was fine. Small thing but nice touch. I really liked that there were bananas, strawberries, blueberries and grapes in the fruit cup. No apples for filler! Place pretty packed on a Saturday brunch time. Price for two eggs bacon hash browns and toast $6 and change. Extra egg $1 fruit cup $3 something. They have 7 booths and around 8 tables inside. There are also some tables outside. They have been here forever but it's easy to forget about them tucked in the shopping center near big lots. Back to the meal... eggs were over medium just as ordered scattered hash brows done to perfection. Bacon was extra crispy. I like ok a little less crispy but diid not specify so ask if you like less crispy. By the way I got three slices not sure menu says how many slices. I was stuffed the potion of hash brows was large so a+ for that. Two slices of toast cut into halves at an angle. Well buttered so I may ask for lighter next time just because I need a few less calories these days. So over all a great experience and I would recommend!! read more
