This is my second time coming to Reverly. First off as a bar it's a great spot for a casual hangout. Inside is just a low key neighborhood bar feel and outside is just a chill patio. The patio is dog friendly as well. FYI..you have to place your orders at the bar. They will bring your food out to you but no one takes your order at the tables. 4.5. This is an amazing East Austin hang out with DELICIOUS food and classy cocktails! The venue itself is gorgeous and laid back at the same time. I'm soooooo thrilled to have Revelry Kitchen + Bar so close to our home because we will be frequent visitors :) We tried the Grapefruit Mule, Bloody Mary, Deep End, and the Pisco Sour all of which are perfectly created and tasty! They have a Bloody Mary bar where you can customize your drink however you want. We had the following bites: Scotch Egg - omg a soft boiled egg wrapped in a sausage patty! This is a must. I've never had anything like it and it was oh so amazing! Curry Up - the Rendang curry, fried eggs and pita are apparently a staple in the breakfast scene of Indonesia. I see why. There is something very comfort food feeling in this dish. On a cold day, it's guaranteed to warm you up! Try it and let me know what you think. Ribeye Hash Skillet - gorgeous presentation, a huge portion, and the ribeye was WOW! There are homefries and eggs underneath all that ribeye. A perfect match for the taste buds! Wings and Waffles - savory and sweet, my favorite! The chicken wings are more like chicken lollipops and they're delish. I ended up eating the chicken and having just a bit of the waffles but that's because the wings were addictive on their own! I'll be back for the wings and I'm going to try all of their sauces since they have some very unusual ones. Biscuits and sausage - you had me at biscuits! The creamy gravy with the jalapeño cheddar biscuits and sausage had me singing! Everything about this dish blew my mind. I can't wait to have one all to myself soon. End with an order of Beignets. They're legit. The whipped cream with them pairs well and I love that they're not doused in powdered sugar. I love that you order at the bar and then grab a seat inside or on the deck. I forget how I found out about this place, but after a nearby Quietclubbing event that did not have a bar (wtf, I know!?!) we needed alcohol in the worst way and I had heard good things about the cocktails here and wanted to show some visiting friends the more adult side of 6th street. It is strictly street prkg (as is the case with most of the places on E6), but we lucked out and got a spot right in front! First off, the artwork from the stairway entrance to the interior is worth a visit in and of itself...no joke! Secondly, they have an amazing patio as well, and I plan to spend an evening on it once the mosquitoes decide I'm not what's for dinner. There was shockingly no one in the bar when my friends and I walked in, so we had the place to ourselves! It was a great opp to talk through the cocktail list with the very cordial bartender, who did a great job of making some solid personal recs! Their version of a French 75 is solid and their Moscow Mule is leh-git! I want to come back to try their food menu as I saw they had an ahi tuna special that looked delicious, but had figured that late at night the kitchen was already closed. Sadly, I had already closed my tab when I found out it was still open! But, just another reason to return and spend some quality time at RKB and will make it my first stop instead of my last next time I am on a tour de force of East 6th. read more

Planned a great weekend in Austin with my brother and what do we decide to do after arriving at our Air BnB through a giant storm... walk to find food. Our search brought us to Revelry kitchen + bar. The Nitty Gritty Sure it was raining sideways in that way that would make sitting outside your last thought but the outside dining area here was great. I highly recommend table 16. It's back far enough to keep you pretty dry while allowing for optimal people watching as socially lubricated patrons come and go. I ordered the Pork Belly Lettuce and Tomato sandwich (The PBLT). This was my first time having pork belly, so I went for it. Folks, my daring food choice was highly rewarded. It was AMAZING. I wasn't drunk, so that's an accurate account. I added avocado, and I sat there with joy on my face, satisfaction in my mouth, bopping my head back and forth to Dead Mouse. My gf couldn't help but notice my bliss. We both ordered a bloody mary and loved that too. I wish I had gotten my bartenders name because I want to give him a shout out. He was working on 5/28/2021 wearing a bandana for the protection of us all, and his service was amazing. I tip my hat to you sir. To him (you were right. Go belittled by the gal working the bar "can you talk to this lady" was yelled at her coworker as she dismissed me. I asked about revelry's to go alcohol policy only to be told that wasn't legal in Austin. It's absolutely legal, and has many stipulations that must be adhered to, and to be dismissed over this left a horrible taste in my mouth. A simple "we're unsure of the policy and don't offer this to our patrons" would have sufficed. Prepare to be yelled at and brushed off if you to here. read more

We had a good time at Revelry during our girl's trip to Austin. Just a couple of things that were kind of annoying. My sister in-law tried to make a reservation, but was told they don't do reservations. Which is cool, some places don't. But when we get there, there is a table with a "reserved" sign on it? So, maybe they do accept reservations? The bartender seemed a little snobby when we first got there, but seemed to warm up. It's a great place. I love the patio, very hip and inviting. The food was good. I had the berry french toast which reminded me of old school french toast before everyone started getting fancy. LOL! The other girls in the group had the biscuits and gravy, breakfast tacos, & potatoes. Which the potatoes by the way were awesome. Crunchy and super tasty. This place has a great patio overlooking the street. It's on the east side of the hwy so some construction can make it difficult to park. They had a sign outside for their gumbo which wasn't bad. Their burger and 1410 salad with the redfish were both outstanding. definitely recommend for a quick drink and lunch if your on this side of town.. the little duckie on the drink was a big bonus!! read more

I like it because it's not too wild, I've been able to get a seat both times, the food is surprisingly amazing, and the service is good. The bartenders both times were very nice. I went for brunch once and drinks/dinnertime another time. I will definitely go back for drinks and food. For brunch, they had some 90s/2000s music, which was fun. My boyfriend didn't like how loud the music was for brunch, though, or the amount of rap music they played, so be aware. read more

Wow I am impressed. We stumbled across the Revelry after failing to find the food truck we originally drove down for. For brunch we had a carafe of mimosa, wings and waffles, and the ribeye hash skillet. I realize most people come here to just drink, but their brunch was seriously good! Wings and waffle - the bacon-sirracha sauce was heavenly, the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. The wings were also cooked to perfection, I wish it came with more! This was he star of the meal. Ribeye hash skillet - I had high hopes on the dish based on the descriptions and it did a great job of delivering. My only complaint is that I wish it came with a bit more steak and that it was cooked closer to medium rare, but a great mix of flavors!! read more

Revelry has the makings to be bomb dot com, but for me misses the mark. They always have a BOMB playlist, but the vibe is always lackluster for me (even pre-covid). I know they are a fan favorite for Sunday Brunch, but the food is just ok and their drinks are pretty pricey. For me a Sunday brunch needs to include over the top food and a cheap, bottom shelf drink. Last Sunday, I had the french toast, 3 drinks and my bill was $60. There are other places around town that offer the same for less. During covid, they are doing a great job of social distancing and I could seriously dance all day to their music, but its just missing that extra spark that would put them over the top for me. read more

I came here New Years Day and I'd say it was a good experience overall! Their parmesan fries are delicious and theres plenty for two, maybe three people. I tried the Asian Garlic and the Hot Dry Rub flavored 6 piece Wings. They were super juicy and pretty big! Definitely recommend the Asian Garlic. The Dry Rub was good but not spicy at all. Was looking for a bar to watch the football game at and stumbled upon Revelry. The food looked good and they had the game, so it was worth the trip. When comparing sports bar good, it is normally not something you talk about but Revelry is definitely different. We tried a bunch of items including the bean dip, brussels, fries, wings, and beef tacos. All of it was fantastic but the brussels and tacos were outstanding. The beef tacos had so much flavor in them that I didn't want to stop eating. The service was excellent and fast. For a filled bar, food orders came out within minutes and tasted perfectly fresh. Its a cool bar with a decent size patio. My only dislike was that during Thursday Night Football, they had no TV volume on at all so I can't say this will be my go to football bar but would come back for the food. read more

A friend invited my husband and I here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch/lunch. I had heard of Revelry Kitchen & Bar but really didn't know where it was. It is located on east sixth right next to the Brixton. The place was pretty cool. It is an open environment with a decent patio area. They had a DJ that was spinning some awesome tunes while we were there too. Inside there was a large bar and more bar tables and seating. There are menus at the bar - the way it works is you order your food at the bar, they give you a number to take to your table and then they bring you your food. The menu is what I would call southern comfort brunch and bar food. I ordered the wings and waffles which came with a siracha syrup. It was pretty good. They only thing I wish was different was I kind of wish the syrup came on the side so I could pour it on and decide how much I want. There was a lot of syrup and it was really rich. I would have preferred less and I know that is preference thing. My husband got a salad that had shrimp on it and he said it was amazing. Our friend go the French toast, which I tasted and it was delicious too. I also had a frozen rose to drink, which I would totally get again. I feel like Revelry Kitchen has a cool thing going on here and I am glad to see their addition to the eastside. I would absolutely come back here. read more

You know I didn't go to revelry expecting much. The pics I'd seen led me to believe it was a pretty but un-inspired menu. I can honestly say that for one of the few times in my life I am glad to be mistaken. I had an amazing brunch at Revelry and it's definitely on my list of great brunch spots in the ATX. First off I just want to say that the D.J. they had this particular Sunday was great! I don't know if its because it was an ACL weekend or what but this guy was just doing an incredible job making me feel like I wanted to be at a party on a sunny Sunday morning. The drinks came quick and cold and that's about all I could ever ask for! I'd like to give them a huge shout out for not making pay for a topo and a shot when I ordered a vodka topo! I had an appetizer of the Shishito pepper sand scored a couple nice hot ones! The Shishito dipping sauce was great and I've had them at several places but they were cooked incredibly well here! The salad I had for my entre was awesome! I added some shrimp and a "smashed" avocado and as a result I almost got more food than I could eat, mad props for the portions here, you could even share a salad with someone and have enough food if you wanted. Give Revelry a chance, the foods good, the music is good, the drinks are good. read more

Exceeded my expectations the chicken and waffles was delicious, the egg sandwich was dope. Burger was filling and tasty. Tacos were meh I wouldn't recommend. First things first: Would we come back here? No. The food was good but the cocktails were watered down and lousy. If you come here, consider just going with wine or beer so they can't water down your drinks. With the drinks, I ordered two cocktails, and the bartender packed the glasses with very small ice cubes so that the drinks would inevitably be mainly ice water. The shaker and the recipe seemed to be sized for one drink, but she poured its contents into two glasses. When it came up short, she just added club soda to fill up the glasses. The drinks turned out, as you might guess, watery, weak, and tasteless. When I brought this up to the waiter, who brought us the food, he said I should take it up with the bar, since he only worked in the kitchen. This was an odd diversion of responsibility, but I took him at his word and went back to the bar. I said I would like return these drinks and explained the problem. The bartender reacted with surprise, especially since we had in fact consumed the watery things. She asked if I wanted something else, so I got two beers, which of course, were fine. When I got the final tab, I was disappointed to see that they charged me for both the cocktails and the beers. So I decided that rather than argue, I would let everyone know to watch out for this place. The food was excellent, by the way. Just don't buy the drinks. read more

I went on a Tuesday during happy hour and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. They have shaded areas outside and fans with mist so it's bearable to sit outside during the Texas summer. I did like the atmosphere of the place. Also, it says 21+ only even on patio, but I was not carded at the door or when I ordered food (I didn't order a drink though). Not sure I would try to go just for the food again/risk it if you're under 21. Select appetizers were cheaper during happy hour - restaurants seem to do brussel sprouts so well and Revelry is no exception. I also enjoyed my sweet potato tots although they would've been taken to the next level if I had some chipotle mayo. I wasn't a huge fan of the salad with redfish I ordered. It wasn't a bad salad, the veggies were fresh but nothing special about it. The fish was also just alright. It was cooked well but didn't have a ton of flavor. But I guess this is a bar, probably focusing more on drinks and small snacks. read more

The first time I came here, I was a little turned off by it for some reason. The place itself is cool. It is up top of the street and has plenty of drink selections. It has good indoor and outdoor seating. It is a restaurant, so they don't have the ability for dogs inside the actual restaurant, even when the garage doors are open, but there is plenty of room sitting outside (unless it's the summer and the sun just beats on the outside patio). I would not say that the staff is extremely nice, but I have had worse. If you are in the east 6th area and you have already been to a few of the other main restaurants/bars, I would say then try this. If you haven't, I would recommend checking out some other places first before going here. read more

Tried this place after Smokin Rose and Latchkey were closed for a Christmas party. Not great. The bartender kept pushing us that we needed to get a table number first and then order. Ok, fine. The pushiness about it turned me off but otherwise she was nice. Then we ordered the carne asada tacos, tater tots and Cubano with an old fashioned and the blood orange margarita. Old fashioned was solid but the margarita was small and barely had alcohol in it and was so sweet. The tacos were so bland, tortilla was store bought, and tiny. The toys were just... well... tots, basic. The Cubano barely had any pulled pork in it at all and a measly two thin and bare slices of ham. It also had an odd melted plastic sort of taste. Very disappointing meal. The fact that the tots were the best we tasted says something and it ain't good. read more

Decent bar, but I was more excited about the food choices! I gave this place four stars out of five because of the drink selections. The cocktail choices seemed mediocre. My fiancé and I came for happy hour. Happy hour ended at 7 PM. We got there just in time to place our orders for food and drinks. The service was amazing! Staff were super friendly. Food came out quick and hot. Angus beef sliders were actually better than I had anticipated.The bread buns were super soft with a simple slice of cheese and perfectly salted and super juicy Angus beef patties. Chicken lollipop wings with the Asian Garlic sauce were delicious! I could dip anything in that Asian sauce and it would taste great! I think the chicken lollipops may have been in the fryer for a little too long as they were slightly harder all around. Although I didn't take a picture of it, but the warm Bavarian pretzels were a hit between me and my fiancé. It was super warm and soft with a good crisp bite. It was almost like a crescent pretzel. I would definitely order this again if not every time I visit this place! The blistered shiahito peppers were fine, but it was the sauce that made it better. If you're looking for a super light and easy thing to eat I would order this. Otherwise, I would order the first three things that I talked about. Nope, nope nope... My friend had a big party at Revelry. I visited with a group of 12. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside, the restaurant has a great patio with picnic tables and giant jenga and such. The restaurant has menus at the tables and you order at the bar, kind of like PeiWei. Everyone in my group was just chatting and I was starving so I was the first to go to the bar and order. The menu just basically has bar food like burgers, wings and stuff like that, and there are not very many vegetarian choices besides hummus or a salad. The fries were delicious, the hummus was bland and it was a ridiculously small portion. The main reason why I am giving it a bad review is because the lady who brought out the food was the rudest person I have ever seen working at a restaurant. I don't wait to write a long story about why, but she hated her job (maybe her life). I am never going back to this place due to the attitude of the server. There are SO MANY, like SO MANY awesome places in Austin, with better food and much better service, why would I ever spend my money here again? read more

I've had the pleasure of eating a couple different things on the menu. Shishito Peppers, Chili fries, & Chicken Tacos. All of the things I've tried have been really tasty.
