I initially wondered if this office wouldn't do as good of a job as my other Chinese acupuncturist (who also made medleys of Chinese herbs), but boy was I wrong! Megan and her staff here are amazing! Megan is everything you want in an acupuncturist and health practitioner. She's welcoming, warm, knowledgable, and caring. She's super thorough and leaves no stone unturned in her treatment of you! I later was transferred to Kara, who also was amazing and detail oriented and knowledgeable. I was at this clinic for almost 2 years to treat infertility, and ended up going through 6 rounds of IUI with PAMF. And at the end of that journey, I got pregnant with twins. Hurrayyyyy! This is my first review on Yelp and it is for Dr.Yun Hee Hong in Revive Acupuncture. She is the best practitioner I have come across. Very understanding, caring, accommodative, compassionate, extremely flexible with schedules, gentle and she knows her job. My initial fertility consultation was with her and I have been her patient since a year. When her schedule doesn't permit, she makes appointments for me with Dr.Kayoko (as loving and amazing and gentle as Dr.Yun, it's hard to choose between both) and Dr.Monica who is sweet. I always feel at ease and relieved when I walk out of their care. I am following all their supplements and visit them once/twice a week. I have been seeing results though I haven't reached my goal yet. Because of insurance, I did try another acupuncture centre in East Bay, but it didn't meet my expectations. So am back to Dr.Yun though I have to pay out of pocket. If you are looking for any fertility care in Bay Area, this place is for you! Thank you Dr.Yun, you are amazing!! read more

I worked with Dr. Megan D, as per my doctors suggestion whom I was seeing as part of my fertility treatment. I took acupuncture sessions from Dr.Megan D and Dr. Beth M, eventually I gained confidence and trusted their process 100%. They took so much care that at every sitting they used to revise my blood work results and change my dietary plan or vitamin supplements accordingly. I got extremely relaxed with the acupuncture sessions due to their extensive care to keep the room clean, use of their essential oils and music. I was suffering from some very serious stress related eye issue called Central Serous Retinopathy where I stood to lose my eyesight slowly if not cured. I showed numerous doctors and specialist. Could not find a cure. I finally decided to give Revive acupuncture a try. I worked with Megan who is the owner and found her very dedicated. She works really hard to find root cause of diseases for her patients. With her knowledge of Functional medicine, Chinese herbs and acupuncture my issue was resolved. This place is incredible. My teenage son has been dealing with debilitating back pain for more than a year with doctors, physical therapy, needle procedures, etc. A friend recommended Revive and it's been wonderful. He's been going for a few months now. My son is still in pain but it is much, much less. He sees Dr. Beth Morrison for cupping, acupuncture, light therapy and massage. She is knowledgeable and so kind. She really cares about him. We don't have trouble making appointments. If I could give 10 stars I would! I'm currently going through fertility treatments at Kaiser and my first round of IVF didn't work out. I did my research and discovered that acupuncture can help while you're doing IVF. I popped that in yelp and found Revive. I've never done acupuncture but I'm glad I started. The process is very easy and relaxing. I'm alway doing 2-3 things at one time so for the first time I had to learn how to relax :). Everyone here is so nice and sweet! They are very busy but make the time to accommodate your schedule as much as they can. They treat a lot of women that are going through fertility and gave me a lot of sound advice as well. They provided helpful guidelines on recommendations of how to improve my diet during IVF which I have been sticking to and actually really love. On a side note: I was there when someone came late and was very disruptive and it is just really unfortunate because Revive is so busy. I just received a session treatment from acupuncturist Hung Nguyen and highly recommend him. He is professional and patient. I have had neck and shoulder pain for a long period of time. I've been through some pills, exercise and massage, but nothing could help. Then I decided to try acupuncture to see if I could get any luck. I would love the opportunity to return to continue healing however I have left the area and cannot afford it at the moment. I came across Revive acupuncture as a part of random google search on fertility related acupuncturists in Bay Area. I had suffered two miscarriages, was at a very low point in my life and was looking for eastern medicine that helps support fertility. Megan, the owner is highly knowledgeable and very diligent with her services. She is extremely approachable and leads her business and her clients with empathy. She understands and is willing to listen. Megan understood my history and asked me to do a lot of blood work. Based on the results, we found out I had low ovarian reserve and probably poor egg quality (low AMH). Wow! Wow! Wow! This was how I was feeling minutes into my treatment!! I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my second baby, my nausea is crippling and the thought of having to deal with this for 3 more months brought me to tears! It was seriously that bad my first pregnancy I couldn't keep anything down, AT ALL and spent most of my first trimesters curled up in a ball trying to deal! So when the nausea hit this time around I was terrified mostly because I'm a chef and the very thought of food had my gag reflexes going and to add to the stress I am heading into my busiest season of the year! I was desperate, I came into see Megan after being recommended by my cousin. As soon as I walked into the room megan was so sweet and went over my symptoms. She explained to me how the treatment would work and what to expect. Keep in mind as I'm explaining my symptoms to her I have to pause every other word to try and keep my nausea in check, praying to God I wouldn't barf in her office. She tells me to lay down and inserts some needles (painless but you can feel them there if that makes any sense) I feel like as soon as she put the needles in my wrist area I felt some relief!! This was crazy, I had no idea what to expect! She turned some machine on that sent some little electrical pulse, kinda felt like a light static shock that you get over the first couple of seconds then it's like nothing. At this point I was like "omg, this can't be working, can it?" At the end of my treatment I went to the back office to pay and talk to megan, I was feeling queasy because of how hungry I was! I hadn't been able to keep food down all day, but now I was hungy?!? The big difference was I didn't feel like gaging! I went home had a bowl of fruit and passed out!!!!!! I came to Revive Acupuncture a couple of years back when I was facing some health issues which made me exhausted all the time. I was facing extreme fatigue and was unable to carry my day to day activities. My initial sessions were with Megan who is amazing. She recommended some dietary changes and supplements that I still follow to this date. Due to timing constraints I moved to evening sessions where I met Monica who is very intuitive, listens to your body. Her acupuncture sessions were amazing , made me feel very relaxed. She is a great listener. With the help of Megan and Monica I was able to get over my symptoms of fatigue and manage my stress levels at work. I highly recommend them both for any health issues. Vladi cured me of a painful sciatic nerve pinch, it's that amazing! I had a pinched sciatic nerve for over a year and had tried exercise, stretching, massage, and chiropractors (2) to solve it with no relief. My pain level was at a 8-9 with 10 being terrible. I had never tried accupuncture, but believed in the principles so wanted to try it. Vladi has a personality that is soft, warm, kind, but very knowledgeable and experieiced. She explained things in a way that made sense to my logical mind. Within 2 treatments I could tell a distinct difference, getting me down to a 6 pain level. After 3 more visits I was down to a 4 level, just a dull pain sometimes. I actually sat on the couch last night, after 8 visits, and couldn't remember which leg I had the pain in! I'd say that's amazing. And it's not coming back. I'm going monthly now, just as maintenance, and it's staying at a level 1, once in a while I notice it. So Vladi has a technique that gets results and a personality that makes you feel comfortable. She is also a trained masseuse so many of the things she told me to do to help myself combined her knowledge of the complete workings of the body; she really knows anatomy, nervous system, muscle system, and your brain, energy, and psychology. She's truly amazing. I highly recommend her! The money I spent on treatments was very reasonable (I spent a lot more on other therapies) and they actually solved it! I love coming here... it's very serene and very cost effective as well. The ladies take their time with you and I love that. I have always gone to Jessica, but by the end of the week I will have worked with Sonia and Meagan. Overall I have been coming here for about a year and before them, I have NEVER experienced acupuncture before. I have been going to Revive for since December 2015 and absolutely love it. I started seeing Megan for infertility treatments. Upon starting my treatment my AMH level was 0.60 or something similar, within 6 months, my AMH level jumped up to 0.85! Not sure what magic Megan did, but it was incredible. I switched over to Yun Hee because her work schedule aligned a little better with mine. I absolutely love her as well! I no longer am being treated for infertility, but she's treated me for stress and most recently my shoulder, I cannot day enough about this place! Try it and you will absolutely love it! read more

This clinic is awesome and my acupuncturist Kayako really knows her skill well. I've had a frozen shoulder pain ongoing for a few months that she fixed in four visits. My 14 year old daughter had shin splints that she fixed in 3 visits. Kayako has studied Accupunture under Joanna of Five Branches institute in Santa Cruz and worked side by side with Joanna for several years. She brings the same level of dedication and expertise I enjoyed for the past 15 years from Joanna. I was treated by Megan Dauphin for about 10 months. I looked around Fremont for a highly rated acupuncturist who accepted insurance after choosing one who didn't and not being able to afford seeing her. I have very painful, chronic jaw pain along with difficult PMS. Megan was a God send. Not only did she help me reduce my pain, but my sleep, digestion and PMS symptoms improved greatly! This was all despite the fact that I am a full time graduate student managing a tough commute. If you are afraid of needles, this is the place to go! She started me with very small needles and constantly checked in with my comfort level, I have experience with acupuncture so we moved up to the bigger needles quickly. If I ever had a cold or digestion issues those were addressed too. The clinic is very professional and the treatment was holistic. I started with needles and eventually incorporated herbs into my routine. The herbs they prescribe are very easy to take and don't require cooking like most traditional herbs. Megan was recommended to me by my fertility doctor and at first the thought of needles really put me off but Megan was able to put me at ease with her technique and as time passes, I am no longer so scared of the needles anymore. Megan also has such a genuinely warm and kind personality that every time I see her she's more like an old friend trying to advise me rather than just treating me. I saw Megan for more than 2 years and I feel like I'm being cared for in the best way possible because of her extensive medical knowledge in both Western and Eastern fields. With the supplements she recommended combined with acupuncture, I'm getting the best of both worlds with amazing results. Megan also responds fast to my emails with whatever questions I have and I have never felt rushed with her during my treatments. This place saved my life and made me able to go back to work, almost completely pain free. I randomly woke up with severe torticollis and after a few days of all different kinds of meds I couldn't take the pain anymore and booked an appointment here on a whim. I could not move my neck in any direction, it was absolutely terrible. It was a Sunday, and they were the only place open with an appointment which allowed for me to be seen rather quickly so I desperately took the appointment and found my new favorite acupuncture spot. After leaving I immediately felt better and ended up coming back for several more treatments. I have been to many acupuncture places with conflicted experiences, this place makes me feel like I am a part of the process. Kathy specifically continuously asked me if it was better and tried all different avenues to ensure I left with relief. Please note: Reading another comment about insurance it is true, they offered to look it up for me, but they charged me the full amount anyways and then later told me it was covered but then a few months down the line contacted me asking me to pay more as it was not in network with my insurance. They were very sweet about it to me and allowed me the option to not pay the difference since I expected it to be covered and made it very clear that if I returned, I would have to pay the full price...... I still give them 5 stars because the service was honestly worth every penny. They listened to me and solved my exact problem, and I was really hurting. Unfortunately, medical insurance is obnoxious and complicated, I know this because of a health condition I have been dealing with that makes getting services complicated. This is not the first establishment this has happened to me at and it's all because of shady loopholes with the insurance companies. It is likely the insurance company's fault that they said it was covered and then realized it wasn't once they received the paperwork, I have had so many problems with insurance in the past that I would not blame Revive for this. Just wanted to update my review (still 5 glowing stars!) After a brief shut down caused by COVID-19 I started treatment again at Revive, but this time with Megan as my acupuncturist. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and her willingness to help and offer advice is unmatched. She has been so supportive, positive and helpful to me in my struggle with hormonal imbalance/PCOS and my journey to starting our family. It is also 100% worth mentioning that the office and rooms are so, so clean! They are sanitized between each patient and allowed to air out between patients as well. HEPA filters have been installed in each of the patient rooms too to filter out anything that may have been left behind which makes me feel so safe. (They also take the temp each patient upon arrival!) I can not recommend Revive enough! If you are struggling with pain, fertility, etc. and want to try acupuncture- this is the place! Having a work schedule that requires me to have a flexible schedule, I have been able to work with all the practitioners.
